Chapter 107

Miriam’s POV

I walk to the table with Elena’s b***d on the map. I know this will be a mighty struggle as I know the creature I am facing is not as weak as I make everyone believe. I am happy because I like testing my powers against other magical creatures. I have fought dark magic before, but that was ordinary dark witches, and none of them was strong. I know I can beat anyone with the help of the Moon Goddess, as Selene is stronger than the dark gods. I pray to her before I start to fight this dark creature.

“Selene, I need your help and beg you to guide me in this battle I am about to fight. Please help my wolf and me fight this dark magic and give us the power to protect our packs from this spy the dark witches send us to destroy our packs and the Kingdom,” I pray. I let my wolf help me as I know this dark witch will also allow her wolf to help her. I know she can have some backup with the dark witches backing her, but their magic will not be as powerful as it must be far away. I can not feel their presence near the pack, and I know they must be far away because if they were in the Kingdom, we would handle them and destroy them quickly. I am mentally ready for this battle of magic. White versus black magic! The struggle is always in this world, and few creatures know about it.

“Show me your hiding place, evil one,” I whisper as I start my chants to show me where this hybrid is. I am also a hybrid, but I am a good hybrid, and I will show everyone that I am here to protect them, no matter what I have to do. I can feel her resisting me and trying to find out where my magic is coming from, but I do not allow her to find out as I chant harder and faster, and she tries to protect her hiding place. I smile as I feel her getting frustrated with my magic attack on her and her wolf to weaken them and give in to my request to reveal themselves. I will not stop until they are too weak to fight me.

I can feel her reaching out to her witches, but I stop her as she will have to use some of her magic to contact them, and I will not allow that to happen. She needs to be on the defense all the time. I can feel her getting frustrated by me and my magic attack on her as she can not ask for help or trace my magic. All she can do is defend her position. I do not care that she gets frustrated, as it distracts her from our magical battle.

I will show her that I am not her playmate and that I mean business. I change my chant so fast that before she realizes what is going on, I attack her wolf, and she and her wolf were not prepared for that as I was attacking her witch side. I smile as she is too late to protect her wolf, and her wolf is protecting her, so she does not expect the attack. I need to move fast as I have them at a disadvantage and quickly tap into the wolf. She scrambles to protect her wolf, but I know she is confused. I tell my wolf to defend herself. I know she and her wolf will try to attack my wolf, but it will not work as my wolf, and I can work as a team and separately. It took years of practice to be able to do it. As a hybrid, your witch or wolf sides will dominate, but I trained hard to make them equal and powerful. My human side is also strong. I want my human side to keep me humble and remind me that I am only as strong as it will allow me to be. I know I have to be dependent on the Moon Goddess. I need to keep my mind clear while I fight. I know the Moon Goddess is the most potent magical creature, and no dark god can attack me while I do magic as she is my protector. I always need to protect myself as dark magical creatures will try to fight the white magical creature. They want darkness to rule this earth, so they can be more powerful, as darkness, death, and chaos enhance their powers and take away from white magic. As we mainly use mother nature to help us do our magic and do not draw our energy from evil events as they do. I can not imagine using someone else’s misery to make myself more powerful, but my heart is pure, and the white magic flowing through my body is pure and not dark.

Her wolf at first tried to fight back, but I was too quick, and I knew where they were. I need to bind them so they can not move. I need to keep them at that place where the b***d has gathered on the map so Aldo, Dakota, and the gypsies can get to her before she can move. I need to keep her occupied. I know she does not know white magical spells as she does not know what I want from her. I can feel her confusion, and I use it to my advantage.

“Send Aldo and Dakota to that spot with the gypsies,” Jonathan says.

“I will mind-link them to go there immediately. It is not far from the Castle. She is hiding in one of the houses supposed to be empty,” Jeff says. The talking does not bother me as I still concentrate on my fight. I pull her in and make sure she keeps defending herself and trying to keep me out of her brain. I want to know what her intentions are and why she is here. I know she is feeling hate for the wolves, but I do not understand why. I need to find out why and what is going on and why she is trying to destroy the Kingdom. I know she is the daughter of John, but I do not know what she looks like, and I need her to look in a mirror, so that when I am in her mind, I can see what she looks like. Magic is complicated, and someone not appropriately trained should not try to fight a mighty magical creature like myself. I know she is not what she pretends to be. She is trying to impress someone. Her mother? Or a lover? I do not know yet, but I am starting to feel some of her emotions as she knows she is losing the battle and is unsure of herself. She thinks she is disappointing someone, but I will soon find out who. I walk over to the mirror and look into it as I continue my chant. I see a girl with white hair and dark brown eyes staring back at me. I know she knows I am looking at her in the mirror as she looks furious.

“Leave me alone! Who are you, and why are you attacking me? I have done nothing to you! I know you are a hybrid like me, so why do you attack your kind to help the wolves? I am one of you, and you are attacking me,” She says in the mirror.

“I am protecting my people against an evil b***h like you. I am not like you, as I am a white witch with white magic. You are trying to destroy the Kingdom I love and my King and Queen. So please do not say we are the same. I am nothing like you! I respect others, and you and your black magic want chaos and destruction, while I want peace and love,” I say. I can see her looking around and then back in the mirror.

“Your little magical friends are here. So you wanted to know where I was hiding? You could have asked me, and I would have told you. I am not afraid of you and your magical friends. I have powerful friends as well. You think you can protect your Kingdom! I will not allow you to protect them. I want to destroy them as they have killed my father! I was ready to tell him about me, and I knew he would have accepted me for who I am as a powerful magical creature, but I never got the chance as you all killed him!” She says.

“Hahaha, he only cared about himself and would never have accepted you. He did not even accept your half-sister, Elena. She is a mighty warrior! He was evil like you. It is too late for him, but not for you. If you allow me, I can still save you,” I say.

“I need no one to save me! I am strong and can save myself. I will not allow you to bind me!” She shouts. I know she knows it is too late. She is trying to fight one last time but must feel and know I am more powerful.

“You know you do not need your mother’s approval! I know she does not accept you for who you are, which is why you wanted to meet your father so desperately. I can help you to be accepted for who you are if you let me help you,” I say. I walk away from the mirror, still chanting. I do not want her to answer me in the mirror. I walk out of the Castle and to the house where she is hiding. I keep chanting to keep her bonded to where I want her to stay. I know she is waiting for me to show up as she has nothing else to do. Aldo, Dakota, and the gypsies are waiting outside. Jonathan, Elena, and Jeff are following me. I do not mind but close the door behind me as I walk into the house. This is my battle, and I want to do this alone. I want to save her as I feel the dark witches mislead her. She is not evil at heart. All she wants is to be accepted and loved. Can you blame anyone in this world that only wants love? I walk to the room where she is waiting for me. I stop chanting, but I know the magical creatures outside are keeping her in the house.

“You have red hair, and it looks like it is on fire,” She says as I walk in.

“Yeah, it does that when I use magic and am up against a powerful creature. You are powerful, and so is your wolf. I admire your skills, but there is so much I can teach you if you let me. I am not your enemy, and neither is this Kingdom. We are creatures that help others to find themselves, and we do not like to kill or put anyone down. You have a lot of potential, and I can help get your mother to accept you for who you are. As a matter of fact, I can help you to kick her a*s in a battle,” I say.

“What makes you think I want to fight my mother? Who says she does not love and respect me?” She asks, but I can see that she is starting to think about my proposal.

“I can tell you are not very happy and that your mother is the reason,” I say.

“How do you know? Were you in my head?” She asks.

“I was. I saw all your memories,” I say. I feel sorry for the hybrid as her mother and others mistreated her. I saw everything and knew I would need her help in the future, as I could feel my ex-mate was angry that I had got a new mate, and my father was still looking for my mother and me. He wants to kill us, and I can use her help as he is with the dark witches, and I understand so much now. My father and my ex-mate have joined the evil creatures! How can wolves do that? They were never good wolves, and I know my father runs his pack but the rule of the wolf. Women have no say in his pack, and he is like a dictator. We will have to destroy him, my mate, and their packs.
