Third person’s POV

“Okay, I kept my part of the bargain, and now it is your turn,” Cadilla says.

“Okay, take me to your village. Val will come with us,” Luca says.

“Yeah, my men and I want the dogmen alive. I will take them to the wolves. They can help them,” Val says.

“You mean they can deactivate the chips in their brain and help them to be normal wolves,” Luca says.

“Can the wolves do that? Maybe we should ask them to join us. You know where they are, Valentino,” Cadilla asks.

“Yes, I know where they are, and I can go and ask them for help, but I think they are busy in the national parks helping the wolves there, and I am not sure if they are already back from America,” Val says.

“Well, we can try,” Cadilla says. Val picks up his phone and calls someone. He talks for a while and explains where they are. After talking for a while, he hangs up and looks at Cadilla.

“The King and Queen and a team of their wolves are on their way,” Val says.

“So now we wait?” Cadilla asks.

“Yeah, we will wait for them,” Val says.

“How long will it take for them to be here?” Cadilla asks, as she is worried about her village.

“They will be here before nightfall. Walker said they would fly in, and they are bringing one of the devices and someone that can work it,” Val says. He can not wait for Cadilla and Luca to meet the wolves. They are going to be surprised. The King and Queen of werewolves are like no other King and Queen before them.

In the meantime, Kristina and Roman have arrived in the Kingdom. Roman is surprised at how friendly the wolves are toward them. They hear that the King and Queen are heading to their old country and decide to go with them as they know the area and can help the King and Queen get the dogmen faster. Paris and Walker are happy to get help from the two as they do not know Russia and those parts of the world. They can use all the help they can get, and the two vampires are faster than them. They can help catch the dogmen faster and switch off the chip in their brain. Of course, Wayne will join them as he does not want to leave his mate alone. He will always try to protect her, even if she can protect herself. They get on the private jet of the Kingdom and fly to Russia. It is not a long flight, and Valentino will meet them at the private airstrip they will use. As they land, Valentino, a gypsy girl, and another guy are waiting for them. Kristina and Roman look at Luca. Luca sees his brother and sister, and he walks toward them. Kristina stands in front of Roman as if she wants to protect him.

“Kristina, Roman! I heard you escaped, dad. Do not worry. I will not hurt you. I have found a way we can break our bond with him,” Luca says. He walks over and hugs his sister and brother. Kristina is surprised and happy that her brother does not want to kill them.

“Well, I am glad you three are together again,” Valentino says.

“I have missed you, Luca. We thought you wanted to kill all of us,” Roman says.

“Dad can tell a bunch of lies, and I only want him and mother dead,” Luca says. He knows he will never be able to kill his siblings. He remembers how they all used to run away from their mother and father and how afraid they were of their parents. He always tried to protect his siblings against their father. Only their other brother, whom he refused to name, was like their father, and Luca was happy he was dead as he used to tell on them all the time.

“I know that son of a b***h must die, and we also found a way to break our bond with him, and we can walk in the daylight,’ Kristina says.

“I agree,” Luca says, and he let go of his siblings.

“Luca, Cadilla, meet the King and Queen of werewolves,” Val says. Luca waits for Val to introduce him to Jeffery and Elena, but Luca turns to two young wolves.

“Meet Queen Paris and King Walker,” Val says. Luca looks at the two plainly dressed wolves, and Cadilla’s mouth hangs open. They have seen the previous Kings and Queens, and not one of them has looked like these two. They look young and more like warriors than a King and Queen. Even the werewolf Kings and Queens in Europe look like they have gone soft and do not fight anymore. They live like human Kings and Queens in luxury and no longer fight for their kingdoms.

“Wow, you look more like warriors than a King and Queen,” Cadilla says.

“We don’t like being King and Queen as we like to fight. These bloody titles and the responsibility are working on my nerves,” Paris says. She does not talk like the Kings and Queens Cadilla and Luca know, and Luca finds it amusing.

“Yeah, we did not even grow up in England and do not know what a King and Queen are supposed to do, but we are fighting for our Kingdom and trying to help whoever needs our help. We are here to help the dogmen and you. Humans turned those dogmen in a lab, and a ship was planted into their brains to make them like rogues, but we found a way to help them,” Walker says.

“Valentino told me everything,” Luca says.

“Well, take us to your town so we can help you and those poor creatures,” Paris says. They get into the SUVs and drive to Cadilla’s town. As they reach the town, they can see most of the gypsies are locked in their houses, and a few men with shotguns are on the towers outside the town on the lookout.

As the SUVs pull in, Cadilla gets out first and walks to the elders, as she does not want the men to start shooting at the werewolves and vampires she brought with her. She will need to explain first before they get out. She was away from the town looking for help when she was taken to Luca. She wanted to take the chance and let them catch her as she wanted to see if he was a good vampire, and the only way she could do it was by giving him the tattoo. She is glad she did and found help for her village. She is the strongest, and the elders respect her and take her advice seriously.

“I brought help, but as we thought, we are dealing with dogmen. I brought the King and Queen of werewolves to help us, three vampires, and a bunch of hunters. The vampires are good and will not hurt us,” Cadilla says. The elders trust Cadilla as they know she will never put the town at risk as she loves her people too much.

“Let our guests come in,” The elders say.

“I will go and fetch them,” Cadilla says. She walks to the SUVs and invites their guests in. The moon is high in the sky, and it is bright. As they leave the car, Paris, Walker, and the rest stand still. They can smell the dogmen and know they are about to attack as they are close to the town.

“Get your people inside. We will handle this,” Paris tells Cadilla, who does not know what will happen. Cadilla listens and calls all her people inside. Paris turns to Walter’s assistant, Peter, who has learned how to use Walter’s devices.

“Are you ready?” Paris asks him. Peter nods.

“As we bring them to you, you do what you need to,” Walker says. Peter nods again. The wolves and the vampires run into the woods and move too fast for the dogmen to realize what will happen. One by one, they grab the dogmen and bring them to Peter, and he deactivates the chip. Before long, the dogmen are standing in a circle, unsure what to do, as they do not want to kill anyone anymore. Still, there are a few more in the woods, and Paris and Walker do not want them to escape. They, the hunters and the vampires, round them up fast. Before long, all the dogmen are in the circle.

“Hahaha, look at the King and Queen of the werewolves. You think you are so clever and helping the humans, but you are nothing but a bunch of weaklings that feel sorry for humans! I will never bend my knee to humans!” A rogue shouts out of the bushes.

“We are not helping humans, you stupid animal. We are helping our kind, and these humans were turned by stupid lone wolves like you that got caught and are used in human labs,” Paris shouts back at him.

“You are brave, little Queen. Do you know who I am?” He asks.

“I do not care who you are,” Paris says.

“Show yourself,” Walker shouts.

“Are you sure you want to see me?” The rogue asks.

“We are sure,” Paris says.

“Don’t, Queen. He is the old one. The one that has never been defeated. He is big and gray and full of scars, and he has been tormenting us for years,” Cadilla says.

“I am not afraid of a gray wolf,” Paris says. She had heard about the gray wolves. They are old rogues that killed so much that they have no soul left. All they want to do is fight and kill. Some of them are so strong that they can kill a whole wolfpack. Paris is not going to let him torment anyone anymore. Not on her watch. They say the gray wolves are dangerous as their human side died a long time ago, and they will sometimes go into a village and kill all the people just for the thrill of the kill.

“Queen, this thing is no longer a werewolf. He is just a pure wolf. Be careful. I have seen grays before, and you can not fight them. They know all the moves there are,” Jeff says. He is worried about his King and Queen, who look ready to fight.

“We are the King and Queen of werewolves, and we will protect the innocent,” Walker says, standing by Paris. A massive wolf comes walking out of the woods. Paris and Walker have never seen a werewolf that big, but they are afraid. They know together they are stronger than this giant. They can not allow him to torment the town, and he must die, since he has no human side. The only thing human about him is that he can still talk. The enormous wolf looks at them, and his eyes are those of a wolf. There is no human side to him like most rogues still have, but their human side is so sad that they are busy dying. The day the human side is wholly gone, they become a gray wolf. He attacks and slaps Paris with his giant claw. He walks on two legs and is about eight feet tall. Paris is too fast and moves out of his way. He gets mad as he misses, and his eyes go red. Paris knows that this wolf has a temper, and if you fight angry, you make mistakes. He might be big, but he is stupid. He storms at her, and although he is big, he is fast, but Paris is quicker, and she dodges him again.

Walker moves in from the back, and the gray is so focused on killing Paris that he does not even feel the silver sword going into his back. He shouts in agony as he wants to move. He turns around and slaps at Walker, but Walker is fast and moves out of his way. As Walker moves, the wolf turns to him. Paris hits him with a silver dagger in the leg. Again, he shouts in agony. He turns around again to go after Paris, but Walker sticks another sword into his lower back. The big gray goes down, and Paris is on him with a dagger she pierces into his heart. The creatures watch the King and Queen kill a gray and how well they work together. There is only admiration in the eyes of the creatures watching them. The gray gives his last cry as Walker and Paris press the sword into his heart as well.
