Chapter 16

Brella P.O.V

I looked myself in my long length mirror and smiled. I felt satisfied at how I looked. I had decided to wear my dark demi jeans and a rose pink silk shirt. I looked cute and my outfit made my baby bump look cute also. After Lily interruption in my room earlier, which I was about to k**s Kiefer then but I didn’t thanks to her. Now I couldn’t help stop thinking about his lips on mine.

“Well don’t you look lovely,” my mom said suddenly appearing in the door way. “I heard you young folks are going to the movie.”

“Thanks mom,” I said putting on my pink converts.

She simile at me, “So is the fact that you’re looking extremely lovely has anything to do with Kiefer downstairs?” she ask wiggling her brow teasingly at me.

“Mmm maybe,” I blushed.

My mom laughed, “You know I like this Kiefer fellow. He’s good for you.”

I frowned at her, “Really?” I ask surprise. “I thought you and dad hate him, well mostly dad.”

My mom laughed waving her hand, “Nonsense we don’t hate him sweetheart. We’re just upset at what he did to our little girl.”

“Well what about dad? I heard him threatening Kiefer.” I almost growled out that last part.

“Your father is only being a dad and that’s just his way of coping with this entire thing sweetheart.” She explains. “Plus he likes making your boyfriend squirm.” She added.

“Mom!” I hissed, “He’s not my boyfriend.”

“Oops sorry, I should have said mate.” She laughed and a smile broke out to my face. “You better get going now because your father’s down there with your mate.” I nod my head and we both went down stairs. I hope my dad isn’t scaring my mate much, only God knows what he’s telling him right now.

My wolf yipped excitedly at the words ‘My mate’. It’s the first I truly use that phrase it means that I accept Kiefer back as our mate. We reached downstairs and found my mate sitting with my father. At first I was kind of nervous at what my father was either telling him but then I heard the two of them laughing. Curious I open my mouth to ask what they’re laughing.

“What are you two laughing about?” My mom asks before I can. She place her hands on her h*p as if she caught to kids doing something they weren’t supposed to do. Kind of like when she caught my brother and I eating out all the Milo.

Kiefer who now notice that we were in the room quickly got up. “Hello Luna.” He said politely. His eyes focus on me. I blushed as his eyes raced up my body and he winks at me.

My dad got up also he looks at my mom. “Just some guy stuff honey.” He said coming towards us. He kissed my mom forehead once he’s close to her. I’m like awe when I saw that my parents are so affectionate with each other. Kiefer came over to me and was about to do the same as my dad but I held up my finger in front his face. “Not in front of my father.” I whisper.

He chuckle at me and whisper back, “he won’t mind.” And he lean in and kissed my forehead. It felt kind of wired with him kissing me in front of my parents. I shrug off the feeling and enjoy the feel of his soft lips on my forehead. At least I got the feel of his lips. He pull away and my father clear his throat. I blushed looking anywhere but at him and my mom.

“Shouldn’t you guys get going now?” My mom asks.

I nod my head. “Where’s everyone?” I ask looking around and listening if they’re upstairs still.

“Ryan drove Lily to her house so she can get some clean clothes they’re going to meet us there. Your brother and the others are already on their way to the theater so we have to catch up with them.” Kiefer explains. I nod my head and we both left for my car. Giving him my car keys I got in the passenger side while he got in the driver side. Kiefer started the engine and soon my baby roared to life and speed down the road.

I stared at Kiefer until he glanced at me and ask “What?”

“How did you get to be on my dad good side and what were you two laughing about?”

He smiled glancing at me again. “Your father is a good father. Actually I didn’t get your father to do anything. Your father decided to cut me some slack, since you’re my mate and he doesn’t want to upset you, which might harm our babies. And what we were laughing about is just some guy stuff.”

My mouth formed a ‘O’ as what he said about my father sink in. “So what kind of guy stuff were you guys laughing about?” I question.

“I can’t tell you,”

I frowned, “Why not?”

He smirks looking at me. “If I tell you I will have to kill you.”

I pouted his respond only got me more curious. “Not fair please tell me.” I begged. He shook his head chuckling and I roll my eyes at him. “You are so annoying.” I mutter looking out the window.

He nudged me and I look at him thinking he’s going to tell me but instead he smile, “Only when I wanted to be.” He says

I scowl at him and continue looking out the window as he drove. They weren’t much to look at but houses. We passed a big beautiful house and I notice a man was leaving, two kids came out and hug him and also a woman I assume the mother came and k**s him before he left. The sight of them made me wonder whether I would be able to have a family like that with Kiefer. Even if we get back together our family won’t be anything like these human. Kiefer is going to be Alpha soon and there is no dough that I would become Luna if we ever decided to be together.

Alpha and Luna brings a lot of responsibility and with these responsibilities we would hardly get to have any family time or even none. I’ve seen firsthand how that could happen. It happens with my parents, my brother and I began feeling neglected. I just don’t want my kids feeling the same because of duties that got in the way. All this made me wonder whether I should be with my mate of not.

*You should, it’s what you wanted. What we wanted.* my wolf spoke softly.

*Yes I know* I admitted I do want to be with my mate. *But what about our pups? What if our duties made us neglect them? Being Alpha/Luna comes with great duties. What if we neglect our kids?

*He won’t let that happen and neither will us, we are strong and we won’t let anything happen to our pups. We could also enjoy a happy family life. Also you need to know that if you live your life on ‘what ifs’ you won’t get to live or enjoy life.*

“You’ve been awfully quite, anything wrong?” Kiefer suddenly asks bringing me back to the real world. I shook my head not wanting to talk about it, “A penny for your thought.” He said.

Looking at him I smirk. “If I tell you I would have to kill you.”

He chuckle at my reply and I couldn’t help but giggle a little bit. “Have you thought of names yet?” he asks after our laugh subsided.

I look do at my huge stomach and rubbed it. I only have like two more months left. “Not really since its twins and I don’t know the gender. It kind of made it harder coming up with any.” I look up at him our eyes making fore. “Also I wanted us to come up with names together.”

His eyes lit up excitedly and he smiled the biggest smile I have ever seen. I mean all his teeth are showing I could have counted it if I wanted to. It warms my heart to know that he’s excited about naming our kids.

“Ok what about if its two girls Megan and Melissa.” He suggested.

I made a face, “Megan. You are so not naming our daughter after Megan Fox.” I said crossing my arm.

“Why not Megan Fox is h…” I glared at him daring him to finish that line. He cuffed instead of finishing his line. “She’s a good actor.”

“Have you seen her movies? I don’t want any daughter of ours growing up thinking she can act in movies with her boobs out and kissing girls. No way am I naming my daughter Megan. Anyway why does it have to be two girls, I want two boys.” I said.

“Ok get this if its two girls Zena and Tonya and if it’s two boys Cain and Jack.” He suggested.

I made a face, “Those names sounds like video games character.” I explain.

Kiefer didn’t say nothing for a while, he remain silence then. His face didn’t show any sign that he’s upset that I turn down the names he’d given. Then it hit me. “You were really going to name our kids after some game character?” I question my brow raising.

He shrugged, “I thought it would be cool.”

I snorted, “You’re such a kid, and you know that?”

He laughed “Only when I wanted to be.”

I rolled my eyes, “Whatever.” Maybe coming up with names together is a bad idea.

“Ok I have an idea, I’m going to come up with a name for a boy and girl. Don’t worry I won’t use any video game names or Megan.” He reassures me when I raise my brow at him. “And you can come up with a girl and boy name too. That way if it’s two boys or girls we both got a name for either of them.”

I nod my head that sounds fair enough and it’s a pretty good idea. Maybe this isn’t such a bad idea after all. “Ok but I’m going first.” I said. Tapping my forehead I think really hard on what name I really like. My face light up as I got the perfect names. “I love the name Alyssa it’s a unique name to me so I’m going to choose that for one of our daughter. And for boy I love the name Alex. I always thought that’s a cool name.”

Kiefer smile, “That’s nice names I like those too.” He commented. “Ok so I’ve choose Jasmine for girl my aunt name is Jasmine and she’s pretty cool. For boy I got Jaden.”

“I love those names.” I said softly.

The car stopped and I look out the window to see that we made it. I was so busy talking random stuff with Kiefer that I didn’t even realize that we’d near the theater. I unbuckle my seat belt opening the door I got out while Kiefer got out the other side. Looking around I saw Max, Kristy and Jace standing close to the ticket booth. We went towards them, I look around and notice Lily and Ryan wasn’t here yet. “Why aren’t they here yet?” I question to no one in particular.

“I don’t know.” Max shrugged.

I sighed. I honestly don’t know why Lily had to go home and change it’s not like she didn’t had any spare clothes back at me. I pulled out my phone to call her at the same time I look up to see her and Ryan approaching us. I notice their hands were intertwine and a smile on their faces as they approaches us. Kiefer and I shared a look but we didn’t say anything.

As soon as they reached us I grabbed Lily’s hand. “You guys pick a movie while we get some foods.” I said already dragging Lily with me towards the snack bar. We got there but instead of going to order I dragged her in a corner.

“What was that Lily?” I ask letting her face me. She look at me confuse and I did a face plant. “What are you doing with Ryan?” I emphasize.

“Oh well he drove me home to change and then brought us here.” She said.

“No not that.” I g*****d. “It looks like you too are together. Lily what if his mate suddenly appear or yours. I don’t want either of you guys getting hurt.”

Lily mouth formed an O shape then it changed into a huge smile. I wonder if it’s just me or she’s crazy right now or she just doesn’t get what I’m saying. Frowning I open my mouth to explain to her that it’s not good her being with Ryan but she cut me off saying. “Brella its ok everything is fine you don’t have to worry. Neither of us will get hurt.”

I folded my arms watching her carefully. “Why is that?” I ask.

“Because we’re mates…” she announced taking me totally off guard.

I stared at her bewilder now it’s my turn for my mouth to form an O shape….
