Brella POV

(Flashback)

“Brella my mate, I meant every word I said back at the restaurant. I plan to make it up to you for the rest of my life. Brella I love you; will you do the honor and marry me?”

Tears ran down as I nod my head. “Yes, Kiefer I will merry you.”

He got up and pulled me into his arms, hugging me.

Congratulation everyone said cheering.

I grin goofily as I stare at my ring on my left finger. It shines so brightly when the sun light hit it. I cannot believe I am engaged, to my mate. I will be his wife someday! The thought sends butterflies in my stomach or it could be the babies feeling excited for their mom.

“Are you going to stare at your finger all day?” Kiefer asks as he raise his head chuckling at me. we were still in our room spending quality time together. Kiefer was busy with his head by my stomach taking to our babies.

I stick my tongue out at him. “How could I not.”

Laughing he got up crawling toward me. he hovers over me. his eyes piercing me. he leans in kissing my forehead and then my lips. “Do you have any idea how much I love you.” He said

I smile “No I do not.” I fake pretending not to know.

He kissed me again, this time deeper and I giggle. We did a lot of cuddling and some rated r stuff if you know what I mean. It became noon rather soon. I was brushing my hair looking at my mate reflection in the mirror. He was lying on the bed staring at me.

“Are you sure, you do not want to stay in all day with me?” he asks as he grins at me wiggling his eyebrows

I laughed. “I can’t my brother and the rest are returning today.”

Kiefer pouted he looks so adorable.

“Oh, I forgot to ask you, how was the meeting?” I ask. The meeting slips my mind. Thou I am unable to do anything, I still want to learn as much as I can.

“We’ve concluded the rouges are led by an Alpha and they are targeting females’ wolves.” He frowned. “We do not know the reason, but we plan a trap to capture one of them and question them.”

I sat silently starting at him as my mind went back to what happen at the mall and I felt uneasy. Could it be a rouge that was watching me? I thought. *It could very much be. * my wolf answers in my head. I bit my l*p, that means they are rouges in over area.

“Brella.” Kiefer called getting up. “What is wrong.” I forgot he can read my face.

I stop brushing my hair and look at him “At the mall yesterday, I was going to the washroom. I could sense someone was watching me. My wolf said she sense malice, so I return home right away with the girls.” I explain.

Kiefer jumps up “Shit! Brella why didn’t you tell me this?” he said alarm evidence on his face

“I… I… I didn’t think much of it and I forgot to tell you last night.” I stammer Kiefer panic expression made me scared.

“Damnit, damnit.” He repeated as he got dress. “That means they are in our territory.”

“Are you sure it’s a rouge?”

“We can’t take any risk.” He said. I can feel how tense he is. I walk towards him and hug him, hoping it will calm him down.

He hugs me back tightly inhaling my scent, his heart slowly returning to it pace. “Promise me you will be careful.”

I nod my head. “Silly I’m always careful.”

“I’m serious Brella if something happens to you. I don’t know what I will do.”

“Don’t thinking that way, nothing will happen to me.” I reassure him.

“Do not leave the pack no matter what. There will be four guards assign to you form now on.” I nod my head accepting his decision. I know he means well and just want to protect. I do not plan to be head strong, thinking I can take care of myself. That would be foolish of me. “I’m sorry but I have to go call me if anything happens.”

Kiefer POV

*Brian* I called through mind link

*Where are you? *

*Training Alpha, is there anything the matter? *

*Office now and bring all the fighters. * I order.

*Yes Alpha. *

I got to my office in record time. I got in pacing back and forth as I wait for Brian and the others to show up. *You need to remain calm. * my wolf said.

*How can I? Someone was watching my mate, our mate. They wanted to hurt her. Tell me you are not worry about that. *

*Of course, I am worry god damnit, I want to rip his head off. * he answers as I feel his rages

*Good glad we are on the same page. *

*We need to be calm, to come up with our next move. * he said and I mentally nod my head at him agreeing.

“Alpha.” Brian called as he opens the door and step in with the fighters. They bow their heads as respected. Brian stared at me.

“It seems the rouges has entered our territory.” I stared. “My mate, your Luna was out yesterday at the mall and she felt evil intention coming form a wolf. Now I do not know for sure if it is a rouge, but we cannot past this up as they seem to want to hurt your Luna.” I spoke with authority.

“Alpha may I speak” Brian asks I nod my head. “Given what you said, it seems they were just observing our Luna.”

“Yes.” I agreed. “Tighten the security of the pack, especially the areas that are less guarded. Four of you will always be keeping your eyes on your Luna if anyone tries to harm kill them. Brian help me inform the other Alphas about this. If it is a rouge, we can set a trap and capture him also send the two-best tracker at the mall see if they can pick up any unusual scent.”

After receiving orders everyone left the office except Brian.

“He dares to watch my mate.” I growled
