Brella POV

“Brella are you ok, why did you not tell us what happen?” Lily asks as she look at me with concern.

The others also stared at me concern evident in their eyes

“I did not want you guys to worry.” I said looking at them.

After I told Kiefer what happen that day he got panic and immediately leave. I did not think this would have blown up like this. I got dress and came down in the living room to be with Lily and the others as they will be returning home today, but I did not not expect moments later my brother appears with a worry expression on his face and asked about the incident, which he reveal to the others. It is decided that everyone will not be returning today.

“Still you should have said something Brella. Do you have any idea what these rogues do the female wolves? What if you were attacked?” My brother ask fill completely full of concern.

“He is right Brella.” Ryan and Jace both agreed.

They frowned as they exchange looks with my brother. I stare at them they were making eye contact and It seems like they were communicating with their eyes.

“We will be leaving to help Kiefer.” Max said as he got up.

Ryan and Jace got up a long with him and with a nod of their heads they left

*Attention all pack members, this is your Alpha. * My mate authoritative voice came over in my mind. He was addressing the pack. He paused as the pack members acknowledge him.

*I am sure some of you have heard the rumors of rouges attacks. * He spoke calmly as not to cause panic and worry. *Please understand this is for your safety, all females are not allowed to leave the pack without permission. Permission will only be granted for those who are working and if they are emergencies. *

He relays some other message before cutting off the link.

Are the rouges really coming after she wolves of this pack?

I got up and the immediate rush made my head felt dizzy. I swayed a little. Kristy rush to me “Are you ok, what happen?” she asks as she helps me to sit down again.

“I’m fine.” I waved my hand. “It’s just a dizzy spell form getting up too fast.”

“No, you are fine.” Lily said she as eyed me. “It’s obvious this is stressing you and it is affecting the babies. You need to rest.”

“That’s not the case.”

“Come one Brella I can see the worry lines on your face. You were going to find Kiefer, right?”

I bit my lips guilty.

Lily chuckle. “Do not worry he will take care of everything. Your job is just to relax, how about I make you some tea to relax?” she offers.

“Please let me do it.” A girl dresses in the maid outfit said as she enters the living room. She had straight blond hair and dark eyes. I don’t think I’ve seen her before, is she a new recruit?

“Ok please make some tea for your Luna.” Lily said as she smiles at the girl.

“Really Lily I am ok.” I said sitting up. Subconsciously I rubbed my tummy.

“Do not try to argue with me, you know I will win.”

“I will listen to her if I were you.” Kristy said chuckling.

“Fine.” I give up.

*Kiefer are you there? * I mind linked my mate

*Brella, is everything ok? * he replies back

*Yes, everything is ok, where are you? *

*I’m on a lead the trackers found something, so I am going to check it out. * he explains

*Ok be careful* I said. I couldn’t help but feel worried.

I relax after communicating with my mate.

“Here is your tea Luna.” The maid girl said as she enters carrying a tray with a cup on it. I can see the steam coming out from it. She handed me it.

“Thanks.” I said as I took it. “I don’t remember seeing you here are you new? What’s your name?” I ask looking at her.

“Y… yes I’m new, my name is Lydia” she answers nervously.

“Don’t be nervous we treat our members well.” I reassure her smiling.

She over a small smile before bowing her head and left.

“She is odd.” Kristy commented as she stares at the girl leaving back.

“She is just nervous that’s all.” I said as I sip my tea. I have never tasted this flavor before it’s a bit weird.

“I don’t she, she wasn’t nervous she offers to make you the tea. Maybe she put something in it.”

I look down at my cup as I stared my tea, it does taste weird. I couldn’t help but think Kristy intuition could be right. I put the cup down not wanting to take another sip.

“Luna.” A out of breath man came running it. He looks panic and scared. “Luna, the pack us under attack.” He said panting for breath.

“What?” I ask. “Where?”

“The eastern end of the pack.”

“Luna, we need to get you to safety.” A tall strong guy said as he enters the room along with 3 other strong men behind him. “I have already notified the Alpha he will be here soon.”

“What about the pack members?” I ask as Lily and Kristy helps, he up. ‘We need to evacuate them to the safe room. Two of you go help the women and children.”

They glanced at each other before one spoke up. “We are order by the Alpha to stay by your side and protect you.”

“I am your Luna it is your duty to listen to your Luna.” I said with authority as us use my Alpha genes. I can now hear the chaos going on outside. “two of you can stay to protect me the other two.”

“Yes Luna.” They said bowing their head.

“Lily you go help them, to keep the members calm. Kristy will stay with me.”

“Ok.” Lily said as she left with the two guys.

I watched as they leave and then turn to the tow guys in front of me. “let’s go.” I said as I grab Kristy hand. My heart was beating fast, but I had to stay strong. I don’t think it’s a coincidence they’re attacking just when the alpha is not around.

“aah.” I yelled leaning over as I felt a sharp pain in my abdomen.

“What’s wrong?” Kristy ask me scared.

“Luna.” The two guards said in union walking towards me concern on their faces.

“I’m ok, it’s just a stomachache.” I said as Kristy help me to stand properly. I hissed as I felt another pain. “aah.” Am I having contractions? But its too earlier. I glanced at the tea, could it have been drugged?

“I think you should sit down.” Kristy said. She took out her handkerchief and wipe my forehead. “You’re sweating, something is wrong.”

“I think I’m having contractions.” I said as I take a deep breathe. “take me to the pack doctor.”
