Kiefer POV

*We’re almost there* Brian mind linked me as we ran in our wolf form

*Good. * I said picking up pace.

After Brian finally got information on Jax hideout and we got half of our fighters and head there. Max, Ryan and Jace just as anxious as me.

Don’t worry I’m coming for you, I mentally said with determination. I don’t know how Jax is a live but today I will make sure he stays dead for good. I’ll tear him from limb for talking my mate.

I ran faster as I let my wolf take over. He’s furious and wants to kill Jax as much as I do. I just hope as I get there my mate is safe.

My heartbeat faster as adrenaline ran through my vain my legs going faster. As I race to the hideout.

*Let me finish him* my wolf said.

I nod my head and continue running. As we get closer, I can pick up Jax scent. It’s definitely him alright. a growl escapes my mouth and I vaguely caught a whiff of my mate sent.

*We’re here. * Brian said pulling my focus. We stopped at a huge clearing, with an abandoned Hospital. It was once surround by a fence but what’s left of it is broken down.

Shifting back, I quickly put on my pants I had tied to my leg. Max and the others shift back while the rest of the fighters stay in their wolf form. I stare at the abandon Hospital.

“Kiefer it’s been a while.” Jax said walking out of the abandoned building. “How’s it going what bought you here?” he smirked.

I growled at him this sick bastard pretending.

“Grumpy much.” He said pausing. “Don’t tell me you’re mad at me for taking you mate? I mean isn’t it fair since you took mines away from me.” he glared.

“You know I never meant to do that.” I shouted at him.

Ignoring me he looked Max and the others “Oh. You bought friends, funny I got a couple of my friends also.” he smiled as a few dozen of his wolves steps out behind him. I watched them closely.

“Bastard!” Max shouted what “where is my sister?”

“And Where is Kristy?” Ryan and Jace said in union as they growled

He chuckles ignoring them as he turns his gaze towards me. “Bet you’re wondering how I am still alive.” He said.

“Doesn’t matter because you will be dead soon.” I sneered.

He laughed. “You see I was never dead to begin with. Ever heard of identical twin, twins that was so identical you couldn’t tell them apart even down to their scent. It’s very rare. You guys never know I had a twin.” He laughed. “Sacrificing him, help me keep myself well hidden for you to reveal your mate.”

My hands balled into fist. “You sacrifice your own brother.”

I suddenly felt sorry for Marissa and his brother. Jax is beyond help.

“I’ll do anything to get my revenge.” He said. “You see I had it all plan out. Attack random packs to keep you busy and confuse, I specifically had my rouges attacked mated wolfs, I mean why must their mates be alive while mine isn’t. it was fun and the best part I got away with it” he laughed.

“I’m going to kill you.” I threaten

“Kill me.” He said as he raises his hand. He clicks his fingers.

Cain walks out with my mate struggling to get out of his grip.

Mate! My wolf jumped alert and ready. He was urging me to go rip Cain away from her, but I stayed still in my spot.

“Brella.” I said stepping forward but stopped as Cain held up a Knife.

Max stopped in his tracks also as he attempted to go towards his Sister. His face a mixture of emotions as he struggles to remain still.

My mate looked at me “You came.” She said as tears ran down her cheeks.

My wolf howled to go to her as my heart broke at the sight of her.

“Cain you traitor!” I shouted as I stared at my mate, her hair was crazy and her clothes dirty, I also notice b***d stain. Was she hurt? Beats of sweat run down her forehead, she looked exhausted as she tries to control her breathing. My hands balled into fist. What did they do to her?

“What did you do to her?”

“My plan was to force you cute little mate her.” he caressed her face.

“Don’t touch her.” I growled as my body shark.

He smirked. “As I was saying, my plan was to force her into labor. Once I get your kids, I then kill her in front of you. You’ll be broken as I am for losing your mate. Then I’ll raise your kids and have them kill you. But little bitch here attempted to escape she even killed a few of my men. Then you show up too soon”

He grabbed my mate cheeks, squeezing it.

She pulls her head away glaring at him.

“Where is Kristy?” Ryan asks

Jax shrugged. “Probably dead like I order.” He smirked and Ryan and Jace look like they’re about to pounce on him.

*She’s not dead. * My mate mind linked me. *There’s a cave not far from here. She’s hiding in there. You need to let them know. *

*Don’t worry, some of my wolves are hidden I’ll let them get her. she will be safe, I promise. *

She smiled at me * I don’t think I can hold on anymore. * she said

*What do you mean? *

* The babies. * she began but stopped as I heard her scream out in pain.

I look over to see my mate falling to the growing. “What’s the matter with her?” I cried out but was ignored as Cain stare at her in horror unsure of what to do.

“What are you just standing there for.” Jax said as he turns to Cain looking down at my mate. “She must be faking it.”

Mate. Mate. Mate

My wolf kept chanting.

*The pups, they’re coming* my wolf said.

My eyes widen. * Now *

*Now is our chance as they’re distracted*

Looking at the others I nod my head as Jax, and Cain were distracted.

Brian launched forward shifting midair into his brownish gray hair wolf.
