Kiefer POV

I ran so fast my legs burn but I didn’t slow down not for a second. My mate needs me, and I have to be there for her even if it kills me.

Bree wait for me. my wolf skillfully maneuvers between the trees as he races toward the pack. Everything blurred as I pass it, but I didn’t care. My paw digging into the earth with each ran I took, the wind wiping pass my ears.

After running for what felt like forever, I finally see the familiar view of my pack. Finally, I thought. I race passing a few of my members guarding. I follow my mate scent behind the pack house to a little cottage, that’s where the pack doctor stay.

Halting I shifted in front of the double doors and quickly pull on my pants. “Aah” I head my mate screamed.

Without hesitation I open the door and enter the living room. There I saw Max pacing back and forth. He looks up at me his face held worried. I walk towards him.

“How is she?” I ask

“I’m not sure she kept crying out in pain, Christina’s in there helping her.” He said frowning. “She kept calling your name, she needs you to get through this.” He added

I nod my head “Thanks.” I said.

*Go to our mate * my wolf urges

Turning to the door Max was pacing in front of, I open it and walked inside. I notice the pack doctor Hazel were in front of my mate telling her to push, Christina by her side wiping the sweat off her forehead telling her she can do it.

My mate shakes her head as tears ran down her cheeks “I don’t think I can, it hurts, it hurts a lot.” She said. “I have no energy.”

“Yes, you can Brella. Just Breathe and make one big push.”

“She needs to start pushing now or they will be complications.” Dr Hazel said looking up.

I rush towards my mate and grab her hand. Her head turned to wards me and she looked at me surprise. “Kiefer” she said staring me.

Without thinking twice, I kissed her, the k**s was a deep kissed. I thought I would lose her when Jax kidnapped her. I pull away staring at her with love in my eyes “I’m here baby.” I said breathless.

She smiled and I thought she couldn’t look more beautiful right now.

“Hate to ruin a moment but she needs to start pushing.” Christian said her voice held an urge in it.

My mate shakes her head. “I can’t, I can’t” she repeated

Christina stare at me *Help her* I nod my head

“Brella baby look at me.” I said as I turn her head to face mines. I stare in those beautiful eyes of hers. “You can do this; don’t you want to see our pups.”

She nods her head

“Good now gather all your energy and push. I’m right here with you and I’m not going anywhere.” I said squeezing her hand.

I quickly give her a peck as she nods her head.

“Ok Luna time to push.” Dr Hazel order as two female pack nurses stood beside her.

Taking a deep breath my mate pushed as she leans forward her grip in my hand tightens as she yelled. Using my free hand, I rub circles on her back.

“Oook it’s healthy a boy congratulation Alpha and Luna.” Dr Hazel said as she raises up her arm holding a healthy baby boy as he cried.

His cries fill the room as she hands him to one of the nurses stands by. I smiled as my heartbeat with pride “You did it, it’s a boy.” I said turning to my mate beaming with happiness I k**s her. She smiles before falling backward exhausted.

“Good job.” Christina praised as she wiped my mate forehead.

“Would you like to cut the umbilical cord” The nurse asks looking at me smiling.

I looked at my mate she nods at me. I got up walk over to her.

“you cut here.” She said as she hands me s scissors

Nodding I stared at my son, he was so small and cover in some b***d and creamy stuff. I feel so proud. Looking at the cord I cut where she told me to.

“Congratulation Alpha.” She said as she turns to walk away.

“Where are you taking him?” I ask not wanting to take my eyes off him.

“She’s going to clean him up.” Christina explains as she chuckles.

I nod my head as I watch the nurse leave. I couldn’t take my eyes off him. I have a son! I’m a dad!

“Ok Luna.” Dr Hazel said breaking my concentration. I look at her as she spoke. “Time to push again you ready.”

My mate didn’t answer. I went to her side once again and I squeeze her hand, she looks at me. “One more time baby.” I encourage.

She smiles at me “Yes I’m ready.” She said. Taking a deep breath, she pushed again and once more her grip on my hand tighten. She yelled louder this time as sweat ran down her forehead. I once again rub circles on her back as it seems to make her less tense.

The sound of cries reach my ears and I looked to Dr Hazel. “Another healthy boy congratulation.” She said as she held up her arms holding another crying baby, his cries louder than the first one. “This one lung is strong.” She chuckles.

“You did it.” I said looking down at my mate with so much love and pride than ever before. I kissed her passionately and she return the k**s.

“ah hm Alpha.” The other nurse said clearing her throat. Pulling away from my mate I turn to her and she smiled as the stretch out her hand holding the scissors.

“Oh.” I said as I got up, I walk towards her. I look down at my second son he’s just as adorable as the first. I took the scissors and cut the cord. She smiled before leaving to clean him up also.

I return to my mate side. “It’s over, you did great.” I said kissing her for head.

“Congratulation” Christina said as she hugs Brella. She pulls away. “I’ll leave you two love birds.”

I watched as she left, closing the door behind her and I turn to my mate a grinned.

“We’re parents.” I said excitedly.

She chuckles. “We are.”

“I love you Brella.” I said

“I love you too.” She said and I leaned in to k**s her. “aah.” She screams out in pain.

I pulled back “What’s happening to her.” I ask panic. “Why is she hurting?” I question. I thought it was all over, but my mate is now yelling in pain once again.

Dr Hazel got up and taking her stethoscope she places it on my mate stomach as she listens her eyes widen. Putting the stethoscope away she stared to feel around my mate stomachs.

“What, what’s happening.” I order.

“Alpha, there’s another one.” She said looking up at me.

“What do you mean another one?” I frowned not understanding what she meant. I looked at my mate and then look back at Dr Hazel.

Pausing she looks at me her eyes piercing mines. “There another baby.” She explains and my mouth dropped. Another baby mu mind repeated.

“How is that possible the ultrasound says twins.” I said as I try to wrap my head around it.

“aah” my mate screamed, and I took her hand. She squeezes it.

“My guess the baby was hidden behind the other in the womb and the monitor didn’t pick it up.”

“Oh” I replied

“This is bad, if we don’t get, he/she out the baby could suffocate.” Dr Hazel said returning to her chair in front of my mate. “I need some assistance.” She yelled and one the nurse that left earlier returned. She stood by her side once again.

“Luna honey I know you are exhausted but one last time I need you to push as hard as you can, ok?” Dr Hazel said.

Brella eyes widen as she looks at me, I squeeze her hand “You can do it, one last time.” I encourage.

Nodding her head, she began pushing as hard as she can.
