Rejected, My Jaded Love
Episode 32

I hug them all goodbye before I get into my Jeep. I am going to miss them so much, but I am pumped to see my family as well as visit my dad’s pack. I plug the address into Google Maps and follow the directions to get to the highway heading to Sedona. Since it is almost a straight shot, I exit Google Maps, start streaming my music and relax behind the wheel. I have my baseball cap on, and my hair tucked up underneath it as I roll towards Dark Moon. It is just now 3 pm and I am making good time. I should be there by 5 pm, in time for dinner. I keep an eye on the traffic in front of, and behind me, as this is my first time going such a distance alone. I don’t need to stop as I filled up my water bottle and used the restroom before I left school. I locked my purse and my backpack up with my duffle bag in the storage area, just in case. As I approach the Sedona exit, I notice that a dark SUV that got on at Chandler with me and stayed back about a mile was also exiting the same off-ramp with me. I knew I was nearing my off-ramp a few miles back, so I had already pulled the address up for Dark Moon and was about 8 miles away from it. As they made a turn for turn with me, I called Tyler on his cell phone. He answered immediately and ask if I was at Dark Moon yet.

I told him, “No, not yet Tyler, there is an SUV about 3 cars behind me that have followed me from Chandler to Sedona. They got off the highway with me and every time I turn, they turn. I am starting to get scared”.

“Tate go ahead and grab Travis and come out to the Jeep now, someone is following Jade. We are heading to the gate, where are you right now Jade?” Tyler asks me.

“Google maps says I am 5 miles away right now,” I told Tyler.

“Keep normally driving Jade, and don’t let them know that you see them behind you. We are leaving right now and heading to you. I will let the Warriors at the gate know to open the gate when they see your Jeep, just drive on through and stop, we will meet you there. We are in our Jeep now and heading to the gate right now. Do not worry, we will see you soon” Tyler tells me.

I try to relax and follow the directions I get from Google maps; the SUV is now 2 cars behind me as one of the other vehicles has turned off. I don’t make it obvious that I am keeping an eye out for them as I am wearing my sunglass that Tate got for me so they cannot see my eyes. I love my glasses and he got me a smaller version of what he has, black-on-black Aviators, I look good in them, like a total badass, even if I don’t feel like one. I pull off the main road and take the blacktop towards the pack gates, with them making that turn as well, they are totally following me, I speed up and go over the hill as I don’t know how far I need to go before I can see the gate for Dark Moon, they speed up as well and I start to get even more scared. Thank the Goddess that when I top the hill, I see the gate about a mile from where I am. I go ahead and speed up a little more and honk so the Guards will notice me and open the gate. I notice that the gate is opening, and I slow down to enter, stopping about 40 feet on the other side of the gate. I get out of my Jeep and see that the Guards had closed it after I came through it, and I see a black Jeep coming from further in the pack lands and see my brothers in the front seats. I start heading for the guard’s booth because I want to know who was following me. My brothers pull up and park sideways near the gate and they jump out with a third man who had been in the back and head for the Gate. I follow along behind them and see four people getting out of the SUV. Eric was driving, with Jeremy in the passenger seat, and Danica and Sophia getting out of the back seats. What in the Hell are they doing here?

Tyler calls out to them “What are you doing on our lands? You have no business here at all, you need to leave right now”.

“We are here for Jade; she needs to come back with us. Her parents insist on her return”. Eric calls out to us.

“I am sorry you came all this way for nothing, as she will not be going with you, or back to your pack ever again. You need to leave before my father gets here, and he will not appreciate you chasing Jade.” Tyler tells them. I look at Tyler and he nods behind us towards where I see Dad’s SUV coming towards us about a mile away.

I feel relieved that dad and mom are also coming, and the rest of my fear goes away. I am totally safe, they will always protect me, and I smile in relief.

“What the hell are you smiling at b***h” I heard from the other side of the gate and see Danica glaring at me.

“Yeah, you have nothing to be smiling about slut, when they get tired of you, they will be throwing you away just like our guys did to you. No one really wants you around” Sophia yells at me.

I hear three thunderous growls and the gate shakes from the volume of it.

“Who the hell are you calling a slut b***h? The only sluts I see just got out of that SUV.” I heard Tate call out.

“If you are not off of our property in 1 minute, we will open this gate and attack you. We do not mind starting a war over Jade. Get in your vehicle and leave while you still can” Tyler yells at them.

“Too late, our dad is here, you are all about to be sorry” Tate yells out to them.

My father and Joy approach the gate with mom sliding her arm around my shoulders and bringing me in closer to her to give me a side hug and rub my back.

“You have overstepped Alpha heir Eric, I warned you and specifically told you to leave Jade alone, and yet you follow her here, why? Why are you following her?” my dad asks.

“We have received some threats and we believe she is who they are looking for. We have been given a month to try and locate the white wolf that they saw at the Devoe house the day Jade left”. Eric calls back.

“I already told you both, that there is no way that this slut could be a white wolf. It is impossible for this waste of space to have any value at all” Danica yells out.

“Yes, she is a fat, stupid slut, that no one wants. Her own mate didn’t even want to come on this trip to get her. He didn’t even want to see your stupid face.” Sophia calls out.

Loud growls sound out again and my dad roars “Enough, shut your mouths and get off our property. This is your final warning concerning Jade, do not EVER come near her again. She will never be returning to Howling Wolf pack. When she is ready, she will come to accept Calvin Williams’s rejection and then leave, and that will be at her discretion when it does happen. Eric, if I see you on Dark Moon or Stone Moon property to come after Jade, I WILL consider it an act of war and both I and Alpha Andrew have discussed this at length, and we will BOTH be going to war with your pack. If you value your pack members at all, you will NOT ever approach Jade again. This is your second and final warning.”

“We need her to return to our pack IF she is the white wolf” Eric calls out as he walks back to the SUV. “We will end up being at war with them over it if we can’t hand the white wolf over. Just think about it. You haven’t known her long enough to know she is basically worthless, call us when you are tired of her, and we will come back and get her”
