Rejected, My Jaded Love
Episode 45

Well, I am screwed. We were having a great day out on the lake, we had ridden the tube, and one of the guys had even water skied earlier this morning. We got to the Sandbar later than we normally arrive, so we were further back than we usually are, but it was a great day in the sun. I put the awning up as we had been in the sun for a several hours and we needed a short break from the sun. We had been drinking, but not eating and even though it is hard to get a werewolf drunk, we were there.

I could see a bigger pontoon a couple of spots down with some good-looking girls on it, I looked over after the first one went down the slide as her screaming drew my attention and watched the other three come down the slide, one-at-a-time after her. I looked over and watched the girls swim and float around joking and laughing together.

I don’t think that they are dating any of the men that they were with as the guys were on the lower deck and the women had all been on the upper deck. Some of the guys got in to swim with them for a little while and I would periodically look over there to check them out and wished for the 20th time that I hadn’t let Ashley guilt me into letting her come. She had reminded me of how I cut her off on my last visit out to the pack a few weeks ago and that I mentioned coming here for Spring Break. I just shouldn’t have answered my phone. So, when I came to get the pontoon boat and she said that she wanted to go, I told her sure, as I didn’t want her to cause a scene. When I should have just told her to forget about it. I kind of like giving my mom and dad the proverbial middle finger because they are trying to control me. I am Alpha b***d, and I don’t like to be controlled.

That threat they gave me still pisses me off, but I won’t be making Ashley the Luna. I have decided against that, it is too much of a risk to take to stay with her, she would destroy the pack, they were right about that. I have been looking for a beautiful girl to choose as my Luna, asking my fellow Alpha’s if they have attractive younger sisters, so I can have strong Alpha children, because it is important for our pack to continue to survive and thrive.

About an hour ago I heard some growling coming from the Sandbar and shook my head as everyone knows you can’t be letting these humans out here know that they are surrounded by werewolves, they would freak out on us.

When my buddies that were on the sandbar got back to the boat, they were telling us what happened. Apparently some really hot blond was getting grabbed by three guys on the Sandbar, when another group of guys showed up and protected her. From the sounds of it, she was really being mishandled and needed some help. The guys said that they had been talking to two hot chicks when it started, and they had seen the incident start over the heads of the girls they were talking to, and kind of kept watching to see what was going to happen when the girl that had been with the hot blond comes running up to the two girls they were talking to and said that they needed to find the guys to help the hot blonde.

So, they just hung out with them as they wanted to watch it play out to the end, and that they came over with the girls group. They said that it was an Alpha heir that apparently holding the girl down on the sand. They said that they didn’t get involved in the fistfight, but after seeing her face that said they would have, as she was beautiful with her green eyes and great figure, but that two of the men that came to help her seemed pretty interested in her, so they just left after the altercation was done. They said that had gotten the girls phone numbers too, and that they were both about to graduate high school.

I had glanced over when they were swimming back to our boat along with the group involved in the altercation, the guys just had to swim a little further down to get to our boat, so I got to see the blonde in question come out of the water, and she was worth fighting over. She a great figure and was pretty tall. I didn’t get to see her face though as she was facing the Sandbar and not us. But several of the men hugged her, I guess she was upset after the incident on the Sandbar.

They all sat down and a short time later I see a big guy checking her waist out and heard growling about something. I guess that one was her boyfriend, as she didn’t look like she would be without one. He checked out her wrists and left elbow too, so I guess she ended up hurt, I bet he won’t let her out of his sight again.

They took up their anchor’s and started pulling out slowly as we are in a no wake zone, when I smelled it, Sweet Musk and Patchouli, and I started looking around. I see the boat pulling by us and the beautiful blonde in the very front of the boat sitting with a different guy pulling her to him as he hugs her to his side and k****s her on the top of her head.

Why is she allowing another man to touch her? She is mine, she belongs to me. My head turns and I can’t even stop it as I need to see her again. I see her head lift and her eyes turn to me as if she senses me too. She recognizes me as her mate!

“Pay attention to me Asher, you are here with me, remember?” Ashley says pouting.

“We are not together Ashley remember? we are just coming to have fun at the lake” I remind her.

I start to look around towards where the boat was going. I see her looking back at me. She knows, oh crap, she can sense we are mates. She is going to say something. I look to the shaded area of the boat and now I know I am screwed as I see Dixon, Braxton and Mason all looking over at me slow dancing with Ashley in my arms. I see Bree on the top deck sunning with 3 other girls. I am done, I told my parents where we were going, and I bet they knew that my siblings were coming here before I got the boat yesterday. I have screwed myself in my pride, and now I have been caught by my mate with another woman. As I panic and try to start figuring a way out of it, I don’t even realize that Ashley is reaching up and pulling my face down to hers to give me a k**s.

Well s**t, I am done for now, as I look after the boat leaving, I see the look of hurt cross Jade’s face and I know she knows I am still sleeping around with Ashley. She couldn’t feel it before as she hadn’t rejected that Beta yet, but the way she looked right at me, she knows we are mates now, and that I am here with Ashley.

I bet that is where they went yesterday to protect her when she went to accept the rejection, she had like 6 guys with her. What does she do to make everyone love her? Wait, what the hell, they all said she was fat, even Ashley, and that girl is nowhere near fat. She is fine. Did they all lie to me? To try to keep her for themselves. No, that wasn’t right, even mom and dad said she was losing weight. Could she really have lost so much weigh that quickly?

They all saw me with Ashley, I bet mom and dad already know she is here with me. I don’t know how I am going to fix this. I am going to tell Ashley we are done, from now on. The worst part of today is seeing that look on Jade’s face. She really has been through a lot and then she sees me with Ashley. They already have bad b***d between them because of me. I let Ashley think that she could be Luna to keep her in line and at my beck and call, and I was the cause of the problem.

Bree and Dixon were right. I picked Ashley’s side because I was getting benefits from it and never even realized I got an innocent person picked on due to me being a greedy a*****e. They were right. I am an a*****e, but I am going to fix it.

I know she is disappointed she got me as her second chance mate. The look of betrayal that she gave me, it broke my heart. I want to do better, to be better for her. How crazy is that? I want to be a man that she can be proud of, proud to call her mate. I am going to give this a chance. I am in it 100%.

I am making a change right now. And the first thing I am going to do I take Ashley back home to the Stone Moon pack tonight. I will drive back out here in the morning. This mate bond pull is serious. I have never felt like this about anyone else. I can’t stand to upset her, and I haven’t even spoken to her. Maybe it is because of all she has gone through? I have no idea, but I do know that I am going to take Ashley right back to my pack tonight. I will come clean with mom and dad, and tell Ashley we are completely done, because I have found my mate.
