Episode 49

I am trying so hard to control my anger right now. My sister who has been through so much, just cannot catch a break. What the hell, that jerk KNEW she was his mate for almost a month and a half and didn’t even try to approach her? What the Hell? It seems like he is going to reject her now too. Why? She is absolutely the BEST. He doesn’t deserve her. My wolf Hunter is chomping at the bit to come out. I have met Asher before he is almost 2 years older than me and about to complete his Alpha Training. He wasn’t a jerk when I met him, but today on the boat when I noticed Braxton and Mason watching him over on the Stone Moon boat. We had spoken about Asher, and what all he was doing.

Mason spoke about the complete 180 that Asher did after going to Alpha Training and letting the stress get to him. He was dating human girls as his parents didn’t want him sleeping with girls from the pack. That makes sense because when the actual Luna gets there as the official Luna, she can have problems with the rejected she-wolves. He isn’t thinking correctly, and it is obvious that he and the other Alpha’s on that boat were drunk, and it is very hard to get a wolf drunk. But as he is making his bed, he has to sleep in it.

But now my sister is involved in this, and I will NOT allow him to just sleep with her and leave her. He needs to commit only to her and not allow any other’s girls in his life other than his mom and sister of course. He didn’t notice us watching him because we were in the lower area of the pontoon and were in the shade, so you had to look to see us, but he had his hands all over the girl he was with, and she was also touching him in a very familiar way. I remembered her from the incident in the dining room with Jade when she was completely ugly to Jade for no reason. She just came to find us as we were meeting in the dining room. Just goes to show that you need to know someone before you become involved with them. Ashley was gorgeous, absolutely beautiful in the face, and had a great body, but she was mean as a snake and hateful on top of it. I truly feel sorry for whoever she gets her hooks in because they have no idea what they are getting themselves into. She completely changed up what had actually happened and made herself the victim, in the incident. Jade never tried to retaliate, she just wanted it to go away, and unfortunately for my sister, that is not how it works.

I am worried for Jade as now that Ashley girl will be coming after her again. I don’t want to leave her in danger so I am going to have to make sure Bree, Dixon, and Nicole can keep an eye out for Jade when she goes back to school. Ashley wants that Luna position, and she won’t give it up easily.

I call mom and dad on my cell because it was easier to hear when we speak. You can use it to call out for help or announce something to the whole pack like Rogues are coming, but to speak to two people I need to call them. That way I can hear what they are saying when either one of them speaks. Dad picks up and I ask if mom is around. They are already in bed, and I tell dad to put me on speakerphone.

“Is everything ok?” Dad asks me immediately.

“We are not hurt” I answer him.

“What happened?” Dad asked.

“Jade found her second chance mate,” I tell them.

“Wonderful, I am so happy for her” I hear mom say.

“Who is it,” Dad asks.

“Asher Morris, heir to the Stone Moon pack,” I tell him.

“Huh, they would explain why they all loved her from the start, they probably felt it too,” My Dad says.

“Well, when she found out about him, he was on another boat here, and he allowed another girl to k**s him, and Jade saw it,” I told him.

“He was there with another girl?” my dad asks.

“Yes, so I wanted to call you both and ask what I need to do because I will not allow him to let her be another of his conquests. He needs to be serious about Jade, I won’t allow him to hurt her, she has already had to deal with way too much crap already. I will not allow him to mess with her” I tell dad.

“I agree son. Keep an eye out. If Asher comes around to watch him, actions always speak louder than words. I will call Andrew tomorrow and speak to him about this, I know he loves her too, and we will figure it out. If Jade saw him k**s another girl, she won’t be too quick to fall in his arms. She has a good head on her shoulders and is smart. She has learned to be smart and listen to her head and not her heart after the stuff Howling Wolf put her through. It was a very hard lesson, but I think she knows who she can and cannot trust. You and Tate just be there for her and protect her and have a great time at the Lake”. Dad tells me

“Um, Dad”. I start to say, “We also had an incident here today, you just reminded me. Jade got hurt. That soon-to-be Alpha Eric was here with several members of his pack. They found Jade while she and Jessica were walking on the Sandbar, you know, where I usually set anchor. And Jeremy, her cousin, ended up grabbing her, and long story short she had bruises on her dad. Those idiots put their hands on her.”

Dad growls into the phone and asks, “Is Jade, ok?”.

“Yes, but she is bruised, and she was scared, she had broken free a few times, but it was three Guys including that i***t Alpha Eric. She did her best, but Eric ran her down the last time she got away, and he tackled her and went too far. Tate, Dixon, and Travis ended up in an altercation with them. None of the boys are hurt, but Jade has some bruises on her waist and arms. She said she was ok, but I know it was stressful for her and she was scared. She asked to keep training and wants to learn more release moves so she can get free in future situations. Eric went too far and said that he wouldn’t stay away from her, and that would be seeing her again and had made a threat towards her and that is what started the fight”. I tell them.

“I will call her tomorrow to check on her, I would like to speak to her now, but I know she has had a long and stressful day. Please tell her that we love her in the morning and that we will call when we have time together so we can both talk to her. We can’t protect her from everything that will come at her in this world, we can only try to help her prepare for the worst, and hope for the best. Tyler I can tell in your voice that you are angry and frustrated about what happened, but no one knew that the Howling Wolf pack members would be there. Don’t blame yourself, I know Jade doesn’t blame you at all. And let Tate off the hook as well. It sounds like he was very upset for him to jump into a fight as he usually likes to solve conflict with humor and not his fists. I love you all and hope you can let this go and have more fun tomorrow. I know Jade said that this was her first vacation and I hate we aren’t there with you, but this is more a “younger people” vacation area. We will go, just our family, and do something after graduation to celebrate. Goodnight son, we are proud of both you and Tate, you are good brothers to Jade, don’t beat yourself up over this.” Dad says to me, and he ends the call.

He is right I blamed Tate for this when there was no way that he could have known that they were going to be there, what were the odds of it happening. I will apologize to him tomorrow. We will all keep a lookout for them tomorrow.
