“Yes, apparently he is. Do not worry we will be home tomorrow and you will be safe there” Tyler tells me.

“I feel tears running down my face, I will never be safe anywhere Tyler. Ashley was going to get Danica and Sophia into Stone Moon to grab me, what if I have an enemy at Dark Moon that I don’t even know about. I just don’t feel safe anymore, I am scared” I whisper the last sentence and burst out crying.

“We are all leaving in the morning Jade”. Bree stands up and announces to the room and looks over at Mason, who nodded at her. “We will all be safe at Dark Moon, and we are still on vacation until Sunday, right? Then let’s all go get packed up to leave with Tyler, Tate, Jade, and Travis in the morning”.

Dixon gets up and he and Braxton go to get packed to leave tomorrow.

“I am going to go and load Dixon and Braxton’s bikes onto the second trailer with Jade’s bike” Tate calls out.

“Mason, would you mind going to the marina with me to get the pontoon boat to take back to our pack? I don’t want to leave Jade when she is so upset and have to leave her again come back to Lake Havasu to get it, would you mind towing it back for us?” Tyler asks Mason.

“Sure Tyler, I can haul it back for you. I completely understand, I have never seen Jade like this, I am worried about her, she needs to be with you guys and your parents right now. She is very stressed out, and Asher didn’t help with his word choice today. I know he loves Jade, but I have no idea what his thought process was, I think he was so caught up on Calvin notifying us of the danger Jade was in and being jealous, that he could see past it to see the whole story. We can leave as soon as Calvin gets here. I would feel better about him being here before we leave. Just in case”. Mason replies.

“Yes, as soon as we get Calvin’s vehicle secured in the garage, we can roll” Tyler agrees.

“He will be here in four minutes” Nicole comes up to Tyler to tell him.

“I will pack when I get back after we get the boat secured,” Mason tells Tyler.

“I will go hit the garage door for Calvin” Tyler calls out.

“I will meet you in the truck Tyler” Mason calls out as he exits the garage door.

“I will tell Tate, Dixon, and Braxton that Calvin will be in here the next two minutes and that you and Mason will be going to go get the pontoon,” Nicole says and walks back into the house.

I hear a vehicle coming into the cove and I walk to the garage door to wave him in.

“Mason and I are going to go get the pontoon boat at the marina. We should be back in 45 minutes to an hour. I am going to hurry as best as I can as Jade is very upset, Eric attempted to come in the bathroom window to get her while she was showering and had a rag that smelled like he was going to chloroform her, he dropped it and ran away, we couldn’t catch him. If she hadn’t been on high alert because you warned us, he might have taken her, but she felt a small breeze and looked and saw him. Jade doesn’t feel safe anymore and we are all leaving to go to Dark Moon at 5 am. I am going to put my number in your phone, and I would like you to text me so I can have your number in case of emergency, as things are falling apart right now” Tyler passes onto Calvin quickly. Tyler quickly puts his cell number into Calvin’s phone and calls back to Calvin to shut the garage door when he goes into the house, as he is leaving to go get the boat with Mason right now.

Great so do I just walk in? Will I get jumped? Does anyone here know that I was coming? Calvin thinks as he closes the garage door and opens the door to go into the house. There are three guys sitting in the living room and they all stop talking and look over at him. I remember where I saw them before, they were the same ones to step in and save Jade on the beach at the Sandbar.

“Hey, I am Calvin, we met earlier,” I say to them as I enter.

“The girls are in their room hanging out,” one of the guys says to me and comes over to me with his arm out. “I am Tate, Jade’s brother, we met earlier at the Pizza place”

“Jade’s brother?”, Calvin says, “Seriously?”.

“Yes, it is a long story, and she, and we, actually didn’t find out about it until she left the Howling Wolf pack. It turns out that the Devoe’s are actually Jade’s aunt and family. Jade and Jeremy are cousins, Jade never knew and after you rejected her at school, she came home and overheard a phone call between Sylvia and Jeremy. Long story short, Jade is a white wolf, and our Father, Thomas Harris, Alpha of Dark Moon, is also a white wolf. Luna Monica put two and two together and called out dad to see if he knew Jade’s mom. He did, Jade is our half-sister, her mother was our dad’s live-in girlfriend and after he met his mate, our mom Joy, he asked Hillary, Jade’s mom, to move into the packhouse and out of his room. Hillary insisted on leaving so he gave her a car and money and let her go. Six months later she returned and wanted to speak with him, but he was out of town. Hillary left and never came back, never mentioned that she had been pregnant or that she had given birth to a daughter either. Dad thought she was just mad at him when she never came back, but apparently, she had, had a car accident, and had been killed. Sylvia agreed to raise Jade as there was a very large insurance policy where Sylvia got a million dollars to raise Jade to 18, and Jade was to get the other million when she turned 18. Sylvia spent the whole 2 million dollars and had told Jeremy that when Jade came home that day after school that she was going to kick her out as there was no more money and Jade was now 18. So, Jade packed up and left with Nicole and her parents, Bryan and Aubrey, and Jade’s friend Jessica and came to Stone Moon. She literally had the worst day ever, in about 4 hours’ time Jade lost her mate”, Calvin winced, “Lost her family, lost her home, and found out that she had also lost a million dollars in one fatal blow” Tate finished up.

“This is Dixon Morris, Bree is his older sister and Asher is his older brother, as well as being Nicole’s cousin”. Tate introduces Dixon and Dixon waves at Calvin.

“This is Braxton, he is our Head Warrior and Trainer for the Stone Moon pack”. Tate introduces him to Calvin.

“You were the one to help Jade get healthier?” Calvin says to Braxton.

“Yes, along with Mason, but she truly did it all herself, Jade has such strength and she absolutely killed it in training. She is now my #1 female warrior at Strone Moon, I will miss training with her on the daily, she is in maintenance mode right now, so she doesn’t need to do all the training anymore. Hopefully, we will get everything straightened out soon and she might return to Stone Moon”. Braxton tells me.

“I doubt it Brax, he chose Ashley over me, he asked for one chance, and I gave it to him. I can’t keep letting him hurt me. I can’t keep giving in to him and he keeps breaking my heart. That is not how love is supposed to work. He swore he loved me, and that I was his number one, but he couldn’t believe what Calvin said, probably even when he saw it with his own eyes. How am I supposed to trust him again? He picked Ashley AGAIN, I know why he didn’t want me to go, so I couldn’t see Ashley be proven for the lying slut that she is. I bet he hasn’t even told Alpha Andrew what she did yet because he is always protecting her. I can’t keep putting my heart out there for people to step on and break. Why can’t someone love me? I haven’t even graduated yet and now I have basically lost two mates. Am I so ugly that no one will ever be able to love me?” Jade says to the group.

Dixon steps forward and said “I had already told dad what Calvin had told us earlier after we met with him at the Pizza place. I recorded Ashley showing up and getting in Eric’s SUV and then them coming here to stake out the house. I didn’t look their way, but my phone was high enough to see them as we passed. I checked the video before I sent it. I figured we might need it. I already sent a copy of the file over to Dad. He is going to wait to see what Asher does. I think that this is going to be a test for him, and I really hope he passes it because I do NOT want to be Alpha. I didn’t see Asher recording, so I made sure I did, as it will be easier to banish her and her family with this proof and the witnesses that we have”.

“Dixon, I am glad that you are on my side,” Jade told him and went over to hug him.
