Rejected, My Jaded Love
Episode 7

A little after 3 pm, we pull up at a large gate as we arrive at the Stone Moon pack in Chandler, AZ. We announce ourselves into the intercom. A large ten-foot-high cement wall could be seen surrounding the perimeter. I shake my head as I cannot imagine how much building that wall cost the pack to be able to secure the entire perimeter of their pack lands, but it did bring another level of protection and security against attacks. We were allowed through the gates and one of the werewolves guarding the gate advised us where we needed to go to get to the packhouse. Mr. Morris smiled at him and advised him it wasn’t necessary, that he knew where they were going.

I noticed that their land is well maintained and taken care of, much more than their land was taken care of back in Tombstone. We drove about 5 minutes further into the pack on the main road. She followed the SUV driven by the Morris’, as well as Nicole’s car up the long driveway, up to the packhouse. I noticed that there were several people standing there at the base of the porch watching us approach. I started to get anxious, wondering if I had made a mistake coming here. Will this pack bully me too? I have only seen a few people, but no one here so far has been overweight. My stomach is starting to clench up in anticipation of meeting the Alpha and Luna, and the rest of the Stone Moon pack. I remove my helmet and slowly get off my bike. I take my time taking off my gloves and putting them into my helmet. I go forward to meet the Alpha and Luna currently standing with Bryan, Aubrey, Nicole, and Jessica. The Alphas family had already hugged and greeted them and were now watching me approach with curiosity in their eyes.

Alpha Andrew Morris is a handsome man with black hair and bright blue eyes. He doesn’t look a day over 30 and is around 6’2” tall. He has a broad chest and obviously trains hard to keep as fit as he is. He is looking at me curiously as he gives me a small smile and a nod as he sees me looking anxiously at him and his family. Luna Monica Morris is a beautiful lady with long dark wavy hair going to the middle of her back and dark blue eyes. Her dark hair has some caramel and honey, colored streaks in it and she is fit, but still has a curvy figure. She is smiling warmly at me as she looks directly at me and holds her arms out to hug me. I am scared to step forward to her, but she just lowers her arms and steps up to me, and says “Welcome to the Stone Moon pack Jade. We are so excited that you came to live here. We were told about the terrible way you have been treated and we all want to welcome you and let you know how happy we are that you are going to join our pack. I know you will be happy here honey. Please let me know if you need anything at all. It would be my pleasure to help you in any way possible”. Luna Monica then hugs me tightly, and it really feels good for someone besides Nicole and Jessica to hug me. I guess I have missed having a warm, loving hug from a motherly figure.

As soon as I think of that I make a small noise in my throat as I think about my mother being gone and me never getting the opportunity to ever see her or hug her. I blink back my tears from my eyes and tried to hold in my whimper as the pain comes back full force for the love and affection I will never get from my mom. She is gone and I never get to have a motherly figure in my life. Luna Monica pulls me in harder and starts to rub my back. Aubrey leans forward and rubs my back as well. She looks at Monica and said, “We need to talk in your Office”. Alpha Andrew nods to Bryan and Aubrey and steps back sweeping his arm out for us to enter the packhouse. Luna Monica calls back to Nicole, Jessica and the other two teenagers still standing there and tells them “Get some help from some of the Warriors together to help you take all their luggage up to their rooms. They will be on the Gamma floor as Bryan is going to become the Gamma and Aubrey the Gamma female. Give them the master bedroom on that floor and you girls can choose from the other 3 rooms, while we go talk in the Office. We will get Jade introduced to you guys at dinner tonight”. Luna Monica then turns to walk away leading me into the packhouse, and I wave bye to Nicole and Jessica.

The packhouse is huge and is 6 stories high. It is a beautiful building with a modern design. The building is newly built, and each room has a floor-to-ceiling glass window to let in natural light, sliding glass doors are built into the wall of windows leading out to small balconies for each room. There were small patios around the whole first floor, for the larger rooms on the bottom floor. Each patio has a large floor-to-ceiling window on either side of the built-in French doors with a 6 ft wrought iron fence around the patio and a locked gate for you to be able to come and go from the outside after a run in the forest. It seems like a lot of thought had been put into the design of this packhouse with the result being a beautiful, modern living space. We took the stairs up to the second floor where the Alpha’s office was located. I enter the Office with Alpha Andrew, Luna Monica, Bryan, and Aubrey, with two unknown men now walking in behind us. The first man was huge, his shoulders were over two feet wide, with a slim waist, wearing a tight black t-shirt. There was a sleeve of tattoos showing on his left arm and he made a very intimidating sight. He looked like he spent his whole day in the gym and was an imposing figure at 6’4” tall and around 240 lbs. The second man was 6’2” tall and was around 215 lbs. and impressively built. He was not as broad as the first man, but he was still impressive to look at. Wearing only his basketball shorts, his colorful tattoos were showing as a breastplate on the left side of his chest over his heart and then as sleeves down both his arms, with a clearly visible 8 pack showing. His blonde hair had been tied into a bun at the top of his head to keep it from his face, and I assumed that it was at least shoulder length long. He has sparkling blue eyes and was a leaner version of the first man, but with a dangerous air about him, I would not want to get into a fight with either one of them.

Alpha Andrew sits down behind his desk and Luna Monica sits down on his lap. He motions for everyone to sit down, and I sit in one of the two chairs in front of the Alpha’s desk sitting next to Bryan. Aubrey is noted as sitting in a chair that was next to the couch against the wall, with the two men sitting down on opposite ends of the couch. Alpha Andrew speaks to the group “I called everyone here so we would only have to go over this once. Gentlemen, as you know this is my brother, Bryan Morris, he is coming back to live in our pack and will be taking over the Gamma position. His wife, Aubrey, will be the gamma female, and they are returning to the pack with my niece Nicole. This is Jade, she is coming to live here and will be joining this pack as well. There is a third young lady with them, and her name is Jessica, and she is a human. She is aware of our kind, and she wanted to stay with Nicole and Jade to finish her Senior year, as the girls are like sisters. Jade this is my Beta, Mason James, and he points to the very large man on the far end of the couch. The guy who apparently didn’t have time to get a shirt on before he reported to my office is my Head Warrior and Elite Fighter, Braxton McCoy”.
