Asher’s perspective

I got back to the pack and went ahead to store the pontoon boat in its hanger and then the SUV in the Garage before I brought my car back around to the driveway. I need to speak to dad and just wanted to think through what all I was going to say to him and mom before I actually did it. I mind-linked dad and asked him if he was in his office.

“Both your mother and I are in the office. Did you need us?” Dad replied.

“Yes, I am on my way up right now,” I told him.

I knocked on the door when I got there, as I have learned that lesson before, and now I understand it, as I have felt how it feels to be with your true mate.

“Come in” my father calls out.

“Welcome back son. I thought you would be there until Sunday like your brother and sister?” my mother asked me.

“Something came up and I need help from both of you” I anxiously say to them.

“What is it?” my dad asks me.

“Ashley Conner, I need to banish her and her family dad. I gave her plenty of chances and she just kept it up. After I brought her back here to the pack Saturday night after she kissed me in front of Jade, I warned her to leave me alone. The next day she was in my bed naked to greet me when I got back to my hotel. I told her I had met my mate and that I didn’t want her around me anymore, but she continued to harass us” I tell my parents.

“I have actually heard about some of the things that Ashley did but go ahead and tell me your version of what has happened with Ashley” Dad tells me.

“Ashley approached me on Monday when we docked after a day on the lake, she accused me of getting her pregnant to break me and Jade up. Thank you mom for keeping me from making a huge mistake the night I came to visit in February, I hadn’t slept with her for almost 4 months so if she actually was pregnant, it couldn’t have been by me. I Alpha Commanded her to stop harassing Jade and I and told her she was to cause no problems to any other pack members ever again. She still went ahead the next day and found some of the Howling Wolf’s pack members and set up Jade to be kidnapped. Ashley actually told Eric to make sure Jade didn’t come back to Stone Moon pack ever again. She was literally condemning Jade to a life full of abuse. I hate doing it to her parents, but both their daughters are truly terrible people. She literally took them to Jade’s rental house and showed them where they were staying. I just wanted to talk to you both and make sure that it isn’t me just being furious at Ashley for being evil. Jade was almost kidnapped by Eric while Ashley was in the SUV, they even had chloroform with them so she wouldn’t fight him when he tried to take her. I am worried sick over Jade. I don’t know where she is, I need to see her and know that she is safe. I am assuming that she is because she is with her family. But I NEED her, she calms me and makes me happy. I want to see her belly grow with my pups and for her to sit on my lap as mom does in your lap dad. I need help. I need you to help me get this right, so Jade is safe to come here and grow old with me. I don’t want her to be my Luna, she IS my Luna. I would do anything for her. I misspoke and now she thinks I chose to believe Ashley, over Calvin. But it was because I know that when we are banishing people from our pack it is serious and I needed proof against her to do it. I just had to confirm it for myself, I just wanted her to stay behind at the house because I was worried that Eric would take her away and I wouldn’t get to see her again. I am so scared to lose her, and I ended up doing it anyway because Bree said that Jade wants me to just move on, but I don’t want to move on. I love Jade and I don’t want anyone else running this pack with me. Please help me, I don’t know how to fix this dad” I beg my parents and look them in their eyes showing them the unshed tears in mine. “I have f****d this up so badly, but I can’t lose her mom. It would kill me”.

Mom gets up from dad’s lap and comes over to me and gives me a hug. She tells me, “We will help you, Asher, I believe you and sometimes your dad “misspeaks” too, so you totally got it from him. I have already reached out to Luna Joy. We are going to help you and Jade right this relationship. I believe that you both would be crushed if you didn’t become mates. Right now, Jade is safest there, their pack is double the size of ours and she will be taken care of and protected there. Joy has told me how sad Jade is and how much she cried when she got back to Dark Moon. Bree and Dixon told me the beautiful words you said to Jade on the boat. I know you love her baby. We will get this fixed baby. I would love to have Jade as my daughter-in-love. She belongs here with us at Stone Moon, and we already love her so much, even from day one we felt the pull to love her, and we couldn’t figure out why even Dixon who is normally hesitant around girls was 100% in on helping her and protecting her. He actually got her, her very first birthday present, because he felt so bad for all that happened to her on her birthday”. I low growled in jealousy and mom leaned her head back and laughed. Mom continued on, “You will need to thank your brother when he comes home, even when you weren’t thinking because you were so upset, he was, and he already sent the video. We were just waiting on you to come back to discuss it with you before we passed the judgment on Ashley’s actions. She has committed treason by trying to attack the Luna, even though Jade had not accepted it yet, she is still considered to be the Luna. Until you or she reject the mate bond, Jade is the soon-to-be Luna. Your dad has already mind-linked your uncle Bryan to go get the Conner Family. We were waiting on Ashley to return from Lake Havasu as well and she just arrived. They are on their way to the office now and your father is going to handle it. Unless you want to?”
