Asher’s perspective

“I don’t know him. I have never met him, and I don’t know why you are asking me this Asher. You have known me for a long time, you should believe me” Ashley says to me, working up some tears in her eyes and giving me a puppy dog look.

“I saw you, Ashley, I literally saw you come to the convenience store, park, and go in and come back out with a drink. I watched you sit down on a bench and wait in front of the store, instead of going back to your car. I watched Eric and Kyle arrive about 10 minutes later and watched Kyle go in to get drinks and Eric gas up the SUV. I watched you get up and go out to the SUV and get in the back seat, and Eric then goes in the store. I watched after Eric came back out to the SUV and then turn to you to get directions as you told him exactly where to go to get to Jade’s rental house. You took them there and placed Jade, and my younger brother and sister in danger as they were in that house too, and Bree shared a room with Jade. You didn’t care about my siblings getting hurt, only that my mate gets taken away by a bad man, who was going to do very bad things to my mate. You even instructed him to make sure that “Jade never leaves Howling Wolf again”. What in the hell were you thinking? We only hooked up about 4 times total in the last 3 years, we were not in a relationship. You knew it as well as you hit on anything that moved and was a high enough rank for you to deem acceptable to try to hit on. You know, like Mason, Jade’s brothers, Braxton, and too many more in this pack. You disgust me, Ashley, you know you had me fooled at first, I believed your innocent act, but I know just who I am dealing with now Ashley, and you have condemned your family to go right along with you” I tell her and watched her as she grew visibly paler with each new piece of information that I had on her.

“No, it wasn’t like that Asher, you have it wrong. They MADE me meet them. I was too scared to not do it, I was scared that they would hurt me or my family” Ashley tells me, now clearly crying.

“No, it WAS like that. What you don’t know is that we all know everything. Eric made plans with Kyle on the pontoon, but the whole conversation that you had with Eric was overheard, thank the Goddess, by someone else and that is how we knew everything. Why Jade was on high alert and caught Eric coming to get her, how we knew you sat out at the Marina with a sign with “Howling Wolf?” written on it. You looked for her old pack, so you could get rid of her. Thinking that if you got rid of Jade, I would fall into your lap. Well, that would never happen Ashley, ever. We were not even a thing, you were available and yes, I lost my virginity to you, but you even lied about what happened with that too. In your haste to try to get rid of Jade you never even realized that you were being watched and recorded” I hear an audible gasp and glance over at her family. They looked completely shocked and with the fear I see creeping into her father’s eyes I know he now knows exactly where I am going with this.

“Yes,” I continued to speak, as I look back over at Ashley. “I have proof of you colluding against your Luna and it has already been given to the Council, along with video statements of what you have done, and had done to Jade, by you and your sister as well. But you have committed treason against your Luna now Ashley, and there is no coming back from that. It is documented and your father knows the penalty of it, the mildest punishment is banishment from the pack. I personally want to kill you myself for putting Jade in danger, but I will allow you to leave the pack with your family. “I Asher Morris, soon-to-be Alpha of the Stone Moon pack hereby banish the Conner Family; James, Karen, Brittany, and Ashley from ever being on our pack-lands. Do not ever return or try to contact us again”. You have 1 hour to get packed and off of our land. I will send 3 warriors with you and your time begins the second you enter your house to pack””

“Asher, please you cannot do this. What I did, I did out of love for you. I love you and want to be with you” Ashley cries out.

“Ashley, you never loved me, you only love the position and what all that it will bring you. You only love yourself and you have proven that to your family as well because you punished them along with yourself when you colluded against your Luna. I Alpha Commanded you to try to get you to stop. Their lives are ruined as well all because you wanted what you couldn’t have. You knew we weren’t mates, and you didn’t want to wait for your mate, because you wanted a high-ranked wolf, and couldn’t take the chance of a lower rank being your mate. I wish you had found your true mate, the one the Goddess gave you, because they will always be the best for you, and not a chosen mate. The wonderful feeling of them calming you when you are upset and the pure love that comes from them, there is NOTHING better than that. My mother was right, you if had become Luna, it would have destroyed this pack and the Moon Goddess knew that and gave me the best Luna for me. I never loved you and will never love you. I was attracted to you, but Jade’s brothers were right, beautiful on the outside, but rotten and ugly on the inside. You don’t have any redeeming qualities Ashley, and I truly wished I had seen that sooner” I told her.

“I can change Asher; I would change for you baby. I love you and want to be with you” Ashley begs me as the door opens and I see the warriors in the hallway.

“Please escort the Conner family to their home and then to the gate for them to leave the property. They have an hour to be packed and OFF property from the time that you enter the home. I will ask that each of you stay with them in their rooms as they pack so they don’t deliberately damage the house before they leave” I stop and pointedly look at Ashley. I continue “Call in additional warriors if you start to have a problem, don’t fall for anything that Ashley might say, she attempted to get rid of your soon-to-be Luna and cannot be trusted. Please make sure that they are on the other side of our gate at the hour mark and that they are on the Banished list at the gate, so they cannot enter our pack again. Thank you” I finish and nod to the warriors. They had started growling at the mention of what Ashley had done to their Luna, so I won’t worry about Ashley trying to talk her way out of it.

“Asher, please don’t do this to me” Ashley calls out to me as the warriors motion her out of the office.

“I didn’t do this to you, you did it to yourself Ashley. You started all of this by being a petty b***h. Jade never did anything to you, and you continually caused her problems. You deserve everything you are getting and actually more. I didn’t kill you, even though I want to, I am just banishing you” I tell her.

“I hope you never find her again Asher. I hope that Eric did get her and that she suffers every day by his hands. I know Danica hates Jade and that she and Sophia will do everything that they can to make her suffer too while Eric has her. I know that he was going to come today to get her with more reinforcements, and I hope he did get her and that you feel the bond break with her, and it kills you for what you are doing to me. You deserve to suffer along with me, as you led me along and told me that I would be your chosen mate just a few months ago. You swore you would reject your mate for me, and you lied to me. You are no more a good person than I am, so stop playing like you are Asher. I know the real you and I accepted what you wanted to do, to show you that I would be a good Luna, that no matter who you wanted to sleep with that I would be ok with it. I don’t know why you are acting as if you love her when you haven’t even really been around her. I hope Eric has the good sense to get rid of her, so you never get to see her again. If he didn’t get rid of her yet then I will find her, no matter how long it takes, and I will kill her myself” Ashley says to me. I hear her parents, her sister, and my parents all gasp at what she just said to me.

I look up to the warrior in charge of the group at the door and said “Cancel that, take her parents and her sister home to pack, they are still banished. Escort Ashley to a cell and I will personally oversee her death tomorrow” I tell the Guards.

I mindlink two more warriors to meet the other warrior at the Conner home to watch them pack, as the two near the door each takes an arm and takes Ashley away. I can hear her screaming threats down the hallway for a full minute before they leave to take her to the cells. I again remember that at one time I thought that she would be a good choice as a Luna, I was a complete i***t. I shake my head and turn to look at my parents.

“I am so sorry that you had to see that. I have changed and I want what is best for the pack and myself, and that is Jade. I will take care of it personally tomorrow I am so sorry for disappointing you at all. I let the stress get to me to be the best in everything, so you would be proud of me and instead, I ended up messing myself up, in so many ways. I tried to comfort myself using alcohol and women to help myself calm back down when the stress got too great for me to bear. I ended up shaming myself and almost letting my pack down. I am so sorry for embarrassing you” I tell my mom and dad.
