Episode 79

Eric’s perspective

I have arrived back at the pack with Danica, Sophia, Kyle, and Jeremy on Thursday afternoon. The vacation was cut short over all the difficulties that we have faced. Calvin runs away and Sophia has a breakdown, Danica is still furious with me for calling out Jade’s name and not hers, I need to decide on a new Beta and swear him in, and I need to find out where Jade is on top of that. I am overwhelmed and frankly mad at all that has gone wrong. I am sick of the glares that Danica and Sophia are sending me, but I am actually thankful for the silent treatment that I am getting. I don’t want to hear any whining and complaining over a simple mistake. Jade wouldn’t be getting mad over a little mistake, she was always kind and happy, even when she was being picked on, she was never mean back to anyone. I know that she has gotten bolder since she has started training and exercising, and I fully plan on letting her continue to train when I get her back here, but she will only be sparring with me. I enjoyed getting to wrestle a little with her on the beach and remembering when I was pushing myself into her is making me wonder where Danica is right now.

I guess when I bring Jade back to the pack, I will hold a town hall meeting and announce by Alpha Command that Jade is NOT to be harmed or bullied by anyone, so she will be safe while she is here. I will not allow my Luna to be harmed in any way while she is here. It could potentially hurt my pups, and I will not have it. If Danica chooses to, she can remain in the packhouse, but on the Beta floor and I can visit her there. She will never be allowed in the Alpha quarters ever again because I know that she cannot be trusted, and I will NOT allow her to hurt Jade just because she is a rolling b***h.

I go to meet with my father in his office to get some advice from him. I knock on the door and wait for him to allow me to enter.

“Enter,” my dad calls out.

“I need to speak with you dad, on an important matter,” I tell him.

“What is it?” my dad asks.

“Jade Devoe, the Gamma family’s daughter,” I start to say.

“What about her, she left and after speaking to them about it, they advised that she was really their niece and not their daughter. She has left and come back only to accept the rejection from soon-to-be Beta Calvin Williams, and rejected this pack before she left, so she has no dealings left with us anymore” My dad says.

“I want to make her my chosen Luna dad,” I tell him.

“Why Eric?” he frowns at me, wrinkles appearing on his forehead, and he looks generally confused by my statement.

“I want her, she has a strong wolf dad, she is a white wolf, she will give me strong pups and our pack will be stronger for it as she is directly descended from the Goddess herself,” I tell him.

“She is a white wolf? Is she your mate Eric?” my dad asks me.

“No, she isn’t, but I am going to force her to reject her second chance mate, and then mate and mark her myself. She WILL be mine, dad. I want her, she is beautiful and strong. She can fight and she will give me strong pups. There are only positives in this dad, there is no downside as far as Howling Wolf is concerned” I tell dad.

“Are you positive that you can get her to reject her second chance mate?” my dad asks me.

“Positive,” I tell him.

“Who is her second chance mate?” my dad asks me.

“Asher Morris of the Stone Moon pack” I advise him.

“Son, doing this may cause a war between our packs. Have you ever thought this through? What about Danica, I thought that you had promised her that she would be Luna? Does she know your plan, and is she ok with it? My dad asks me.

“I did originally plan to make her my Luna, but I will keep her on as a mistress. You did dad, I know I have half-siblings in the pack, I am not stupid. I know that I have a brother that is 16 and looks a lot like me and is a sophomore in high school and a half-sister who is a freshman. You did it, so why can’t I?”. I say to dad.

My half-brother is in the grade under Jocelyn my sister who is 17 and a Junior in high school. She hangs out with my group sometimes but usually doesn’t bully like the rest of us do. She is pretty smart, and she probably knows about our bonus brothers and sisters. My mom chose to ignore them, but we are aware of them, and I know my sister knows them both too. We have a younger half-sister as well that looks like the female version of me with her black hair and hazel eyes and she is a freshman in our high school. My half-brother and I could be twins, except he has grey eyes, instead of my hazel ones.

“I had a willing bedmate, and she was not a mated wolf, her mate had died soon after she met him and she loves me, which is more that I can say about your mother. She loves no one, she only wanted to be Luna. She wanted the title, and the power, and the money. What you want to do is different. Do you have her here?” my dad says, giving me a hard look.

“No, not yet, but when I get her, I will hold a town hall where I will announce that she is their soon-to-be Luna, and Alpha commands everyone to leave her alone, that she is not to be harmed in any way. I will also make sure that I am always with jade when she is out and about, and that Danica will be only allowed to come to the Betas floor, and not the Alpha floor anymore. If you have more ideas for me to be able to keep her safe dad, I would appreciate them. I know that Danica’s dangerous. Maybe I should banish her and just keep Jade around until I find another girl I am interested in?” I ask dad.

“What if you find your mate son? What will you do then?” my dad asks me.

“Then she will be Luna as well, they can split the duties and both make me strong heirs, as long as my mate is acceptable to me, if she is not, then I will reject her and then banish her from my pack,” I tell dad.

“It seems like you have a plan son. I see you have put a lot of thought into this. You may be right about the strong pups that you would make with Jade. But what about that rogue Alpha who insisted we had a white wolf here and said that he would go to war with us. None of us knew she was the white wolf. The Rogue Alpha finally believed us and left us alone, there has been no white wolf sighting here in the last few months, but what happens when he finds out that we do now have a white wolf? Did you think of that yet?” my dad asks me.

“No, I haven’t thought of that yet. I guess I need to keep it on the need-to-know for the next few years and hopefully, they will never hear of Jade being the white wolf. I do not want to go to war with them over Jade, when I get her, I will never let her go, she WILL stay here with me forever and give me my heirs” I tell dad.
