Eric’s Perspective

What in the Hell? War? Over Jade? I am not willing to go to war, especially when they have almost double the number of my warriors if what they say is true. I mind link my head warrior and tell him to get about 7 other warriors together and to go and check our complete perimeter and see if we are actually surrounded or not. I told him to be cautious about it and not to show that we are aware of them when they go and check. I back away from the gate with my father, who is furious with me, and we go behind the SUV to speak.

“Do you see what you have done, Eric?” my dad yells at me.

“Dad, how in the hell could I have known that they would come here and want to wage war with us, over Jade? I don’t know why they would feel like they need to do that.” I tell my dad.

Beta Harry walks up and says, “I can try to talk to them as Jade’s dad, and try to resolve this with them if you want me to?”

“Yes, please do Harry. Try to get this settled while the warriors are going to check the pack border for us” my dad tells him.

“Excuse me, Tyler,” I hear Gamma Harry call out as he heads to the gate. “I am Jade’s father and there has been a huge misunderstanding here. Jade actually liked and dated Alpha Eric, she got mad and left here after she found out Calvin was her true mate and he rejected her. But he only did it because Eric liked Jade and wanted to make her his chosen mate, but she left before Eric could let her know this information. He did it for the betterment of the pack as she is a strong, she-wolf and it will only make our pack stronger. As her parent’s we feel like it would be in the best interest of Jade, for her to return here, and date Alpha Eric. To get to know him better and agree to mate and be marked by him and become the Luna of the Howling Wolf pack” Gamma Harry finishes speaking when a loud scream cuts through the air. We all turn to look and see Danica standing there with my mom, and Sophia all looking furious.

“What!” Danica screams out again, “What the Hell is Gamma Harry saying, Eric? I am to be your Luna. That has been the plan for 3 years. I have done absolutely everything that you have ever asked of me. I will NOT let you go. I will NOT allow you to just make that slut the Luna over me and our people. You have lost your freaking mind Eric”.

“Calm down and come over here Danica, I was going to tell you. I will still be with you too, but you will be my mistress and Jade will be Luna. She is a white wolf, and our pups will make the pack stronger. Danica, we can still have pups together too, and they will be strong too, but not as strong as the pups I will make with a descendant of the Moon Goddess herself, you have to know this, Danica. You know how much I love you, baby, but we need to think about the strength of the pack” Eric says to her to try to calm her down.

Tyler, Tate, and Asher were all growling at what Danica said about Jade, and the growling only got louder when Eric tried to calm her down with what he said.

“No Eric, I will not allow it, you promised me that I would be Luna, I will kill her, or find someone that can. She will not be living here and taking over MY position in the pack and be allowed to enjoy it. It will not happen, Eric. I forbid you to do this. Your parents agreed that I would be Luna, even though we were not true mates. I cannot believe that you would do this to me, Eric. You disgust me, and I hate you so much right now. I want to kill you myself with my bare hands” Danica yells out.

“You will not dare to kill her. I am going to Alpha Command the whole pack to keep her safe. None of you will be putting your hands on her. She will be safe and protected while she is here. She will grow large again with my pups and they will be protected as well. You will not change my mind, Danica, I am offering you a great deal. You will still be treated as Luna, you just won’t have the title, baby” Eric tells her.

“You dare to say that you will mark and mate with my true mate, Eric? You will not! We can settle this right now go ahead and open the gate and we will fight to the death over her. Your pack is surrounded, and no one will be leaving or entering until this is settled. You will be getting your reports in soon, you ARE surrounded, and this will be getting resolved TODAY!!” Asher tells them.

“Do not speak of Jade again Eric, this is not going to end well for you or your pack. You need to accept the fight to the death with Asher. If you had only kept Danica as your Luna, none of this would be happening to you. You got greedy and wanted what was not meant for you. The Goddess gave Jade to Asher as his true mate. We will not let you try to take her from him. You will not try to disrupt the plans that the Goddess made for them. Jade was never yours, to begin with, and will never be yours” Tyler calls out to Eric.

“Shut up Tyler!” Eric yells out “I will have Jade and she will be MY Luna. She is not marked or mated, so she is still able to be my Luna. When I find her, I WILL mark her right then, and I will mate her when we get back to my pack”.

“Eric, you have brought war to our door, you will NOT be mating with Jade, we cannot afford to lose members of our pack for one of your whims. You need to just keep Danica and make her your Luna, per your previous plan and let this idea of taking Jade as your Luna go. I will not allow you to bring a war to our people just because you want another woman. Plus, you haven’t even met your true mate son. When you meet her, you will not want another” Eric’s father tells him.

“This from the man who has another set of children from another woman in our pack. How dare you give me instruction on how to be a “good mate” when I literally learned everything I know, from you. You don’t care who you hurt, so stop telling me what I need to do. Jade is a white wolf, and she IS worth fighting over dad” Eric tells his dad.

“How dare you, Eric? How dare you treat me this way? I have loved you for over 3 years. I rejected my mate for you when he approached me 6 months ago. You told me you would always choose me, even over your own mate. You are such a liar Eric, ever since you saw Jade a week ago when she showed up to accept Calvin’s rejection, you just can’t let her go. You didn’t want her when she was fat, why do you suddenly want her so bad?” Danica asks him.

“You already heard why, Danica, Jade is a white wolf. She has special powers and abilities, she will produce strong pups, and she is a descendant of the Moon Goddess. Are you even listening to me? She is a white wolf, you can’t beat that, Jade is special, and I WAS interested in her when I took her out, you just happened to interrupt us before I could convince her that I wanted her to be Luna” Eric tells Danica.

A slap was heard clearly by all, with Eric bearing Danica’s handprint.

“You are disgusting Eric, I will not be your Luna, and I will not stay in this pack. I will however look for Jade however and when I find her, I WILL kill her. She was a weak she-wolf and I do NOT believe that she is a white wolf, as there is NOTHING special about her. I hated her anyway and this just gives me a good excuse to end her” Danica says to us.

“I will go with you and help,” Sophia says, “I hate her too, she is the reason I lost Calvin. We will kill her together”

Two shots ring out almost in unison, and both Danica and Sophia fall to the ground, dead.
