Tyler’s Perspective

“The hell you are” Sylvia yells over at Tate.

“He is actually correct ma’am” Tyler speaks to her.

“Jade is my daughter and I raised her for her whole life, well until she just ran away for no reason. We never knew why she took off, she just ran away with no note, the reason for leaving, or apology for causing me so much stress for her leaving. I couldn’t even sleep with her missing” Sylvia calls out to us.

“Ok, when is her birthday?” Tyler calls out.

“Well, I can’t remember with all this pressure you are giving me” Sylvia replies back.

“Ok, what color are Jade’s eyes? Surely a mother knows that?” Tyler asks her.

“Blue, like mine,” Sylvia said.

“Ok, what was Jade’s favorite place to go on vacation as a child?” Tyler asked her.

“Lake Havasu, same as her brother, Jeremy” Sylvia replies with a smile.

“Jade has never had a vacation with you or your family. This trip was her first vacation ever, and it was ruined for her. She was always left behind at your house while you three went on vacation. We have people who can and will verify that is needed. Jade’s eyes are green, like our eyes, because we got them from our father, Alpha Thomas Harris of the Dark Moon pack. Her mother’s name was Hillary Davis, who was your SISTER. She died in a car accident, and she had named you as the beneficiary. She put a stipulation in the paperwork that you would not get any money if you didn’t raise her and you were to use the first million of the two-million-dollar policy for her; clothing, upkeep, shoes, medical appointments, it was just supposed to be used to raise her, and she got none of it. You used it all, for you, and your family. You also took the second million when it was specified to be used for her to receive to let her pay for her education, housing, and reliable transportation. What did you do? You spent it. You built a huge home and kept buying stuff; cars, clothes, jewelry, furs, plastic surgery from the looks of it until you had spent it all. Alpha Heir Taylor’s mind linked you and told you that you were to sell your house, jewelry, furs, cars to pay Jade back. He told us all. He Alpha commanded you to do it. You are going to pay Jade back the money that you stole from her. You didn’t deserve it, you never treated her well” Tyler told her.

We watched as Sylvia get paler as Tyler listed off just some of the information that we knew about Jade.

“You don’t know what you are talking about young man. Alpha Heir Taylor did no such thing, you are incorrect. I do not have any money left, and I am afraid that I don’t have anything to just “give” to Jade. Unfortunately for her my possessions and property are mine, and not hers. So, I don’t know what you will be doing, but I don’t owe Jade anything, and I won’t be paying her anything either” Sylvia finishes and gives us all a smirk.

“Eric told two Alpha’s that he did, both Asher Morris and I, as well as Beta Tate Harris as well as Beta Marcus Williams, who was instructed on what to do as he got from your response that you were NOT going to give Jade her money back. You will give her the money that her mother put aside for her, and I will be getting with the man who was in charge of the funds to see why he would have released them when the paperwork clearly stated who the second million belonged to in the first place. I smell collusion with this and believe me when I say that I will get to the bottom of it, I will. I am sure you gave him a portion of the money to get him on your side of it. But with the right kind of pressure, everything folds” Tyler smirks back at her.

“Beta Marcus is obviously working with your two packs and cannot be trusted to be honest with our pack. His own son is the “witness” for the Goddesses sake. How can we believe any of you? I certainly don’t and that is why I showed up for this train wreck of a mandatory meeting. I don’t believe that Eric did anything, or that you go the Council to approve of this war either. I find it very hard to believe

The lies that you are telling” Sylvia yells out, trying to get her fellow pack members upset and react.

“I am not working against our pack Sylvia. You know this, you are just a selfish and greedy person who wants as much “stuff” as you can get and want to look a certain way. Eric did mind link me to tell me that you owed Jade a million dollars and that he believed that you would be lying about it as he told you he was about to be killed for all he has done. You stand here before us, and you should be embarrassed for yourself. Your eyes are not red from crying. Who doesn’t cry when they lose their own mate? You have lost your son too they are both dead, but your make-up is perfect, and you haven’t cried at all. You are more worried about losing your house, cars, and jewelry than you are about having lost your mate and son. What kind of person are you? You are absolutely hateful, and I wonder how much suffering that poor girl had at your hands? I was authorized by Alpha Taylor, before his death, to take a million dollars out of our account and reimbursed Jade her money, and I will do that for her, we all know you will be resistant to his last order, even with it being an Alpha Command directed at you. Apparently, your love for money allows you to completely disregard the Command and I have never seen anything like it” Beta Marcus tells the group of pack members, and they all turn to look at Sylvia, who had obviously not been crying or upset at the loss of her husband or son.

“Unfortunately for you Beta Williams, you don’t have any proof of that, and I am saying the complete opposite of what you are alleging that Alpha Heir Taylor said, and he isn’t here to say what if anything, that he told me. So, we are at a stalemate now, aren’t we? Because I do not have anything that I need to give, or that I owe to, Jade. I will not be harassed or made to do something that I don’t acknowledge as a debt being owed to her, but I won’t be forced into paying something that I don’t owe to that worthless girl” Sylvia tells us all.

Asher and I both start growling at the woman who had obviously done the very bare minimum she could for Jade, not even including all that she stole from her, and had no shame in doing it. I felt worse for all Jade must have had to endure when she lived in this pack. Obviously, she was shamed and emotionally abused daily. I feel even worse for my sister who doesn’t complain about anything and loves to help everyone. She didn’t even tell Alpha Andrew Morris or Luna Monica Morris about what Brittany was doing to her at school in an effort to keep her from getting into trouble when Jade knew that she was supposed to report any and all bullying to them. She just wants to get along with others and not cause any problems and I am seeing now why, the main reason is staring me in the face, with a smirk and challenging me, knowing that I don’t have the required proof right at this moment. I will get it, but she will probably take off before I can get this solved for Jade. So mark another time, I couldn’t protect her on the board for me, and it doesn’t feel good at all. Sylvia Devoe is a truly nasty piece of work that cares more for stuff, than the loss of her family.

“I have something to say,” a soft voice calls out into the meeting room
