Tyler’s Perspective

Tate ended up having mercy on Eric and took the shot, killing him instantly, so he would not feel any pain. It was a mercy killing and I know he wanted to be back with his parents. I mind linked the men to go back to their buses and that the buses come to the front of the pack. Calvin advised me that his father was about 25 minutes away from the pack right now and that he could get everything situated with the rest of the pack when his dad arrived. I want to get this done and we get out of here by noon. This only took us about 48 minutes from start to finish and I want to be in my own bed by tonight.

I went ahead and mind-linked my parents and Jade to tell them that we were all safe and that what needed to be done was done with no loss of life on our end.

I know that Asher had mind-linked his parents to let them know that we were safe and done as far as taking down the bad people in this pack and leaving it for the pack to be built back up by people who care more for the pack and its members.

I start getting the men ready to go back on the busses while we get all the gear set up. Just in case, the sharpshooters on the hills on both sides and the two hidden in front of us were allowed to relax, but they would get back into position as soon as we heard Calvin’s dad, Beta Marcus Williams, a vehicle approaching. They will be back ready to work in their hidden locations if something unexpected comes up as we finish this.

I saw Asher go over to the gate and motion to the Alpha and Gamma family members and I knew that he was having the bodies taken up for burial, so when the former Alphas’ daughter, Jocelyn Taylor, and the Gammas’ daughter, Kendall Williams, didn’t see the bodies lying there when they arrive. That was good thinking as I didn’t want them to see that at the gate either. I am glad to see that he is really making changes, and not just saying that he is making changes. I don’t think he would have thought about two 17-year-olds seeing that kind of violence, with them being the girl’s parents and sibling. Her whole family was wiped out and that is a hard pill to swallow, especially with being fairly young. I am glad to see the positive changes Asher is making to become the man he used to be.

We will only be entering their pack lands with one bus of warriors and the SUV, to go ahead and get everyone on the same page. Beta Williams will be calling a town hall meeting and we will be having a quick town hall meeting about what happened today, and what will happen from that point on. So that everyone is on the same page and knows what happened and why it happened. Tate had already mind-linked his sharpshooters that had already moved in from the back of the pack to get closer to a good vantage point on either side of the packhouse on the roof and surrounding roofs, in case there were any problems that came from the meeting. We will be going in shortly and there has been no movement out front. Tate also has the men that are using the drones to check for any suspicious behavior at or near the packhouse and they are charging up the other set of drones to use to keep everyone safe and they leave the packhouse.

I heard a vehicle approaching before I saw it. It had to be Beta Williams as he is an older version of Calvin sitting behind the wheel of a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Calvin comes over to speak to his dad as well and we all load up into the SUV to follow them up to the packhouse. Beta Williams advised us that he had already called a mandatory meeting for everyone to attend. One of the buses filled with Dark Moon warriors follows us up the driveway, with the men disbursing and getting into position. We don’t plan on there being any problems, but you never know in these types of instances who will do what.

We spread out with Tate in the back corner of the room so no one could come up behind him. Calvin is at the door to enter the meeting room. His father had already told him if people started to get upset, Calvin would need to go up on the stage and tell them what he overheard them planning. Only by hearing what has been done and planned to be done will everyone realize the extent of what has happened to their pack. The rest of our group; me, Asher, Mason, and Braxton all went to lean on the walls and look for any suspicious actions during the meeting.

“I want to thank everyone who came to the meeting today. We had an incident earlier at the gate and I will be taking over as temporary Alpha, until Alpha Taylor’s son, Conner Smith, can be trained and then complete Alpha Training” Beta Williams begins.

“What happened to Alpha Taylor, and why isn’t Eric Taylor taking over the pack? Wasn’t he the next in line for it?” One of the members called out.

“I am sure most of you felt the loss of your links breaking with both Alpha Taylor and his son, Eric Taylor. This happened about 35 minutes ago. The Dark Moon pack and the Stone Moon pack went to war with our pack for the abuse that Jade Devoe was given by our pack, from a small child growing up to the last several months. It came to a head a week ago when Jade returned to accept the rejection of my son” Beta Williams said, then stopped to look over at his son, before continuing “before leaving to go back to her pack. Ms. Devoe ended up meeting up with several members of our pack while on vacation at Lake Havasu. Ms. Devoe was both physically assaulted by Kyle Richards and Jeremy Devoe, as well as sexually assaulted by our Alpha Heir, Eric Taylor, with Alpha Heir Taylor attempting to take Jade at that time. These pack members were warned by her brother to leave her alone and to not approach her again while they were there. Alpha Heir Taylor and Kyle attempted to take Ms. Devoe again when they caught her alone a second time, with her group getting her free again. The last time she was attempted to be abducted, Alpha Heir Taylor climbed into the bathroom that she was taking a shower in and was going to use Chloroform to take her. Alpha Heir Taylor also made some heinous plans concerning what he was going to do to Jade and recruited Kyle Richards to go along with the plan. Alpha Heir Taylor knew that Jade had been given a second chance mate and still colluded to kidnap, force mark, and force mate Jade, attempting to take her from her true mate. Alpha Heir Taylor then outlined these plans with Kyle, near my son, who overheard everything that they had planned to do. Due to the serious nature of this, the Council allowed the war to be made between the Dark Moon pack and the Stone Moon pack against us for the reasons and charges that were put to them. There was documentation, along with video of some of the incidents, including witness statements as well. Alpha Heir Taylor truly overstepped his authority and broke several laws in doing so, and didn’t realize how far he had gone, until he was faced with the packs coming in for war this morning” Beta Williams stops speaking and looks around the pack members waiting to see if anyone had questions or comments.

“That whole thing is bullshit. Jade wasn’t ever abused here. She made that whole thing up for sympathy. Plus, she is my daughter. I was entitled to that money, and I WON’T be paying it back”. I turned and saw an older lady with long blonde hair standing near the door and I could only assume that this was Sylvia Devoe.

“So, you are saying that YOU are Jade’s mother? I ask her.

“Yes, and I don’t know why Beta Marcus would be saying that her brother told Alpha Heir Eric Taylor to leave her alone. We wanted her to come back and date him. We had no problem with that at all, so for you to infer that her brother told Alpha Eric to leave her alone while they were on vacation, that is a lie”. She responded back to us.

“I told them to leave her alone that day. Not Jeremy”, Tate calls out in the room. Everyone turns around in their chairs to look at him.

“And who the hell are you” Sylvia Devoe yells over to him.

“I am Jade’s brother”, Tate replies with a smirk on his face.
