Chapter 101

Percy’s POV

Dark Savage Pack

This is taking way too long. We all know that he is lying. Why isn’t someone taking this over and just making him tell the truth? I am sick of this. He is looking at my mate with l**t and making no attempt at hiding it. He is just a sick man. It was bad enough that he tried to claim her at 13, knowing that she couldn’t tell if he was her mate or not at that age. He already knew that she wasn’t because he had found his mate. My anger is just getting higher and higher, as this jerk continues to act like we are all stupid. He is just trying to save his own skin, and he doesn’t even realize that the evidence had been documented already. He did it, now just admit it. I sit there fuming, and I am just trying to focus on being here for Peyton. When all I really want to do is reach out and punch that jerk in the face.

I can tell when she realizes just how upset I am. She takes my cheek and turns my face to hers and presses her lips softly to mine. It is calming, and I gave a little sigh after her k**s. I will deal with my anger at this situation until this is done. I know that they have an agenda to get where we need to be today, and they just need to get everything out in the open. It is tough to get an Alpha tried and actually be able to get it to stick. They knew that they needed to get as many charges levied against him as they could. I know why, but it doesn’t mean that I have to like it though. I am getting tired of all of it, it is taking way too long and I just want to get my girl away from this a*s and back to our room. I actually think I saw my brain the last time I rolled my eyes at Jasper thinking that he is smarter than anyone here. He is not. I perked up when I heard someone call him out as a liar. Now, this is finally getting interesting.

“Who said I am lying?” Jasper said, and he is furious. The group at the door parts and Cassidy walks through and into the room.

“I know for a fact that you made plans with the team that went in to try to get her at B***d Claw. You spoke about it in front of me as I was serving your meal. I heard some of the plans that you were making with them, and that you were sending them onto the B***d Claw packlands. You knew she wasn’t your mate because you had already found me. You knew that before you took the first chosen Luna, so you absolutely knew that she wasn’t your mate either. You were at the gates recently and spoke with someone, and I saw the Gamma exit your office with a lot of money that day too. When you all came back a couple of hours later, you told the pack lies about how we lost members that day. But you need to stop lying to them, Jasper. They already know that you did it, every single person here knows that. You are not as good a liar as you think that you are” Cassidy said. She was standing there and looking at Jasper with her head tilted to the side just waiting for him to try to contradict her.

“Why is she here? I mean if she is the person who was poisoning us and killed the first two Luna’s. If that is correct, then shouldn’t she be arrested, not roaming around her free to do whatever the hell she wants to? She does not need to be in here at all. Cameron, please call two warriors and have her taken to the cells. She can’t just make accusations about me, I am her Alpha. She needs to learn her place” Jasper said and was looking at Cameron expectantly to get what he asked him to do.

“Shut up, Jasper. Please, just shut the hell up, I am so sick of hearing you tell so many lies. Do you even believe the words that are coming out of your mouth? Your thinking that you can do whatever the hell you want to, when you want, and not have to deal with any negative outcomes is unbelievable. I swear to the Goddess I wish I had done what Peyton said and accepted your rejection when you gave it to me, instead of keeping myself tied to such an a*****e. What the hell was I thinking? You are the worst person that I know. Truly after all you put me through, why didn’t I just leave you, and this pack all those years ago? You are an absolutely disgusting wolf. You have cheated on every single Luna, as well as me as you know good and damn well that I am your mate. You just go around thinking that your face and fake charm can get you out of everything. It can’t, you are my mate, and I have seen better-looking men. Maybe it is because of all the trauma that you put me through. But I no longer have those innocent rose-colored glasses on anymore. I see you for the vile, adulterous, and repulsive man that you are” Cassidy said, and her chest was heaving with her ranting at Jasper.

“What are you talking about, Cassidy? You are not my mate. We are nothing to each other, stop with your nonsense right now, and shut up. I have no idea what you are even talking about. You are calling me a liar, you have some nerve to allege that. That is the biggest lie that I have ever heard. Cameron, why aren’t the warriors here yet? I want her to be escorted out of the hospital, right now. I mean she has already tried to kill me today, she needs to be in a cell. Or is the big plan you have to be her getting another shot to try to kill me? She should not be roaming around here talking s**t about her Alpha. I mean I know her, she takes care of my Omegas and keeps things running well in my pack here. But I don’t have to listen to her talking about things she doesn’t know anything about. She needs to learn her limits, and know that she is not worthy to question me, about anything” Jasper said, and he is mad. His face is red, and he is really angry, as veins are popping up on his neck.

“I didn’t hear a lie in what she said, I believe her” I popped up with, and I enjoyed seeing Jasper turn to glare at me. His face got even redder at Cassidy being supported by me. I see Jasper straining to calm down, and his face getting less red as he stared at the ceiling for a little while.

“You don’t know anything pup, you are not even an Alpha yet. You have no clue what all it takes yet. You can just sit there and keep quiet. You will learn that sometimes you get accused of things that you didn’t do by petty and vindictive people. Jealous she-wolves will lie in a heartbeat to try to get you in a bind, it has happened before, and will happen again. Just because Cassidy said something bad about me, doesn’t mean that it is true. She is just angry with me because I let her warm my bed a few times. I should never have let that dirty omega into my room.” Jasper tells me in a calmer voice. He stares at her, looking her in the eye, knowing that he is causing her a great deal of pain with his words. He thinks that we will believe him because he was the Alpha, but she is the quality person here, not him. I can feel Peyton stiffen in my arms at him deliberately trying to hurt Cassidy.

I growled at him to let him know that I will not be listening to him, at all. I lean in to take a deep breath of Peyton’s scent in, I relax before I said, “Jasper, I may not be an Alpha yet, but I already know I will be a better one than you have ever been. I won’t be keeping quiet either, I can comment on anything I want to. For instance, on the fact that you said that she isn’t your mate. I would like to take a bet on that because I bet she is. Though why this awesome lady thought you were worth a damn, I will never know. She loved you and did everything to make you happy. I already know that you never did anything for her, because you are a greedy a*****e. She made you the center of her universe, and you have never done anything at all to care for her at all. Do you not understand that for a relationship to work, both parties have to give it their all? But you are clearly not a very loyal man. I wish she had figured it out sooner and left the pack a long time ago. I think that you deserve to have lost her, and the extra strength that you got from having her here with you at Dark Savage. You don’t deserve to have been given a good lady like her as your mate, you actually deserved someone like Stephanie. You two are quite similar as you both really put a lot of stock in appearances, instead of being good wolves. As a matter of fact, I almost wish for you to be in cells next to each other, but not close enough for her to “help” you out. You deserve to be locked up with her while you wait for trial.”

“Percy, what an excellent idea. I think we can make that happen. It should take a few weeks for their trial to start. See, you are already having better ideas than Jasper” Heath tells me with a nod of approval in my direction. I see King Sebastian and Leader Miller both nod at me for the idea, I know that they will get it done.

“Percy do not think I won’t kick your a*s. You can just leave my packlands right now. I can’t kick the Council members, or the Alpha King and his family out, but you. You, I CAN kick out. So, go get your s**t and head to the gate. Cameron, get some warriors here to escort him out” Jasper said as he glared at me. I stayed in my seat with Peyton in my lap, daring him to get up and make me. I wanted him to get pissed off so I leaned forward and took in another deep breath before I kissed her cheek and then snuggled in tight with her.

“Jasper, leave him alone. You just need to admit what you have done. Why else would YOUR men have been at B***d Claw, other than to get that poor girl? Stop lying, just admit it. You sent them, they died there, and she had years of abuse because of it. You don’t help anyone else, so you can really stop lying about saying that you were trying to help Timothy get his mate back. You were getting her for yourself, and no one else. You wouldn’t know the truth if it walked up and slapped you in the face. Now stop changing the subject and tell the truth for the Goddess’ sake. If you indeed know what the truth is with all of your lies. You deserve to get the punishment that you earned. I hope that annoying b***h that you thought was so freaking great drives you crazy in your cell” Cassidy told Jasper. His mouth falling open and almost hitting his chest was hilarious. I am so glad that she is coming back to Ever Green with us, she is direct, truthful, and hilarious.

“Cassidy, why are you still here? Cameron, where is the security detail I asked for her to be escorted to the cells. Are you even listening to me? I still can’t mindlink yet as the poison is still in my system” Jasper calls out in frustration.

“Look a*****e, I am not leaving your room until I get what I came out here for completed,” Cassidy told him.

“And what is it that you came out here for? How are you even serious Cassidy? I still have no idea what you came out here to do. Other than to show me that you are still running around my pack free and clear of charges when you just tried to kill me and Stephanie. Oh, and potentially killed my Luna’s too, I mean if anyone here deserves to be punished, it is YOU” Jasper told her.

“You are a real piece of work, Jasper. You are the worst wolf I have ever met in my life, and I am including Alpha James, Timothy James, and Fallon Mitchell on this list. You just try to take whatever you want, and who you want, without thinking about anyone else. You bully your way around acting like you are doing others a favor when you are not. You wanted me, with the sole intent of taking over as the next Alpha King. Even though you did not earn it, or deserve it. You fully planned on killing my brothers, both of them, to get your agenda done. You couldn’t let either of them live because you wanted more than you deserved. Being an Alpha is a great enough title, but you were greedy and wanted more. That was the whole reason that you wanted me, besides me being a healer. I hope you get the death sentence for what you had planned for my brothers. It disgusts me just to look at you. You can’t just do whatever you want to, it may take a while, but you are about to get what you deserve now. Do you really think that everything we have asked you was not already known before we even asked the questions? It was documented too. Didn’t you wonder where we all have been today? Why it took so long for us to come back out here to deal with you two jerks? B***d Claw is only an hour away and Alpha James was kind enough to come with Beta Mitchell and met us halfway. They each took turns going through your book of “missing” while the other stayed in the car. It was documented to show that they weren’t just copying the other’s answers but going from memory. They picked the same men that I did out of the file folder. It was also filmed when I did it, with the lineup in there changed out to prevent any issue with alleged collusion. Goddess, you make me so angry. You plotted to get me taken. Then you tried to take me a second time when we left B***d Claw. I am about to be the Luna of Ever Green, and I was mated to Percy when you attempted this. I am still the daughter of the Alpha King. Even if we “did away” with the first attempt you did, your doing it resulted in my abuse, for several years, so that is going to be added on you too. I think we are done here. You won’t be admitting it, but thankfully you don’t have to, we have enough proof to convict you anyway Jasper” Peyton told him. She is furious, and I wrapped her up tight in my arms and kissed the side of her neck nipping her mark to try to help her relax. Jasper isn’t worth her time, or energy. He is just a jerk, who is finally about to get his punishment.

I love her so much. I will do anything to keep her safe from all dangers, and I wish that I could kill him now, so we wouldn’t have to wait on the trial. Jasper is stunned at Peyton losing her temper, but I think it was hilarious. He really thought any of us believed him. He is a terrible liar, and no one in their right mind would have ever believed him. We can almost see the wheels in his head turning, trying to figure out a way out of it. He is getting madder and madder as he realizes that he is trapped and that we all knew that he is guilty, even if he never admitted to anything.

“Oh yes, before I leave you here Jasper, I did want to get this off my chest. I, Cassidy Bridges, Omega of the Dark Savage pack, accept your rejection, Jasper Kershaw, Alpha of Dark Savage pack. I reject any bond to you and the Dark Savage pack” Cassidy told him, and we all watched the surprise on his face, before Jasper grabbed his chest in shock, with a pained look on his face. He kept clutching his chest and gasping in pain as Cassidy stood there in front of him, standing straight up like she didn’t have any pain or problem at all. I am quite sure it is because of all that he put her through, and I am again sickened at the thought of him finding his mate, and not wanting her because he wanted “better” than what he had. Cassidy is a good person and didn’t need all the s**t he put her through. I am glad he is overcome with pain, he completely earned it.

“Alpha Jasper Kershaw, by the power given to me by the Werewolf Council I am stripping you of your Alpha status at this time. You are being replaced as Alpha, by your second in command, Cameron Adkins, and your former Gamma will now be stepping up to become the Beta. Do not worry about Dark Savage any further, I am quite sure that they will be taking care of the pack better than you ever did” Leader Miller said, and we all watched as Jasper tried to get up from the bed to try to head towards Cassidy and Cameron, but ended up falling to the floor still writhing in pain.

Cassidy bends down to speak in a low tone to Jasper, “So, you made your choices, and I wasn’t good enough for you. I find it hilarious that I suddenly realized that you were never good enough for me. Bye, Jasper, I would be lying if I wished you well” before turning on her heel and walking out the door. I am really proud of her for taking her power back from a man that never deserved it in the first place.
