Richest Mogul
Chapter 1371

However, as Joe looked at the simple pasta and salad in front of him, his appetite surged. A voice inside him whispered, "Skylar's cooking is the best."

Even without his memories, some subconscious habits surfaced unexpectedly. He enjoyed the atmosphere with them now. Just sitting together brought him an indescribable sense of happiness and comfort. "Are you still okay with this food?" Skylar asked.

Given that they hadn't lived together for over three years, his eating habits must have changed. "Yes, it's delicious," Joe replied, unable to stop after his first bite.

After finishing the entire plate of pasta, he still felt a bit unsatisfied. "Is there more?"

Skylar hadn't anticipated Joe would eat so much. "I'll cook you another plate," she said.

"You used to make me pasta quite often?" Joe inquired.

Skylar reflected for a moment. "I really enjoyed making pasta. You used to like it a lot."

"Used to like it?" Joe raised an eyebrow subtly, considering that if he once liked it, he must love it now.

"I'm full. You don't need to make more," he said, noticing the weariness in Skylar's eyes.

She must be tired after just getting off a flight. He stood up and began to gather the dishes from the table, taking them to the kitchen to wash them as if it were second nature.

It felt almost instinctive, as if this task was ingrained in him. Skylar watched from the kitchen door, her gaze fixed on Joe.

It was as if time had rewound to over three years ago. Once Joe finished washing the dishes, he noticed Skylar still standing in the doorway, and an impulse surged within him to embrace her. The next moment, he wrapped his arms around her. He leaned in for a passionate yet urgent kiss as if trying to affirm something through that moment.

He lost track of time until the doorbell rang, breaking the moment. As he released Skylar, he felt a tinge of reluctance.

Skylar's mind felt momentarily blank. The persistent ringing of the doorbell jolted her back to reality. Flushing slightly, she looked at Joe and wondered why he had taken to kissing her so readily since losing his memories.

But that thought was quickly replaced by another. They hadn't lived in the Galaxy Villa for years, and she had only just returned. She couldn't help but wonder who might be at the door.

She glanced at Joe. Before she came back, she had mentioned to Janine and Steven that she was returning. It could be them.

She suddenly remembered that she hadn't informed them Joe was living in the Galaxy Villa. They were probably worried about her and had come over to check on her.

Before she could think any further, the doorbell rang again. She moved quickly to the door and checked the surveillance screen.

Her eyebrows raised at the sight of a woman appearing on the screen. She turned to Joe. "It's Rosa."

Skylar hadn't expected Rosa to come to Jipsburg, let alone track down Joe at the villa. If Rosa knew how to get to the Galaxy Villa, then she must also be aware that Joe had acknowledged his identity.

Joe, who had been absentmindedly touching his lips, felt a chill in his deep-set eyes as he heard Skylar's words. "I'll go see her."

Without waiting for a reply, he walked straight out the door.

Outside, Rosa spotted Joe and immediately called out, "Ned-"

But then she caught sight of Skylar standing behind him. Her expression shifted drastically.
