Secret Admiration: Finding True Love After....
Chapter 641 I Want Chandler to Feed Me

"What dirt on Rachel? What kind of leverage could there be on Rachel?" Meryl wondered.
She found her mind wandering. Despite Felix's playful expression, he didn't seem to be joking.
They were engaged. Could Felix really know some dark secret about Rachel?
Though Meryl disliked Rachel, she had no interest in using anyone's weaknesses against them or making threats. That wouldn't be playing fair.
She gave Felix a cool look and said flatly, "Tell me or don't. I don't care."
With that, she turned to leave.
Felix frowned slightly, watching her. "Are you sure you want to know?"
Meryl waved him off without looking back.
don't
"Philip left me in your care, and you're just going to abandon me here?" he called after her.

His voice turned cold. "Such an irresponsible woman. Aren't you worried something might happen to a cripple like me?"
It was chilly outside, and Meryl pulled her coat tighter around herself.
Sunlight filtered through the sparse leaves, casting rays across her figure.
She looked back at him. "You're Felix. You never let anything slide. What could happen to you?"
Felix's leg had been crippled in an incident with Christopher.
Meryl had caught wind of some news. Apparently, Christopher had been thrown off his horse while riding in the suburbs a couple of days ago.
Not only did Christopher break his arm, but the horse's hoof had also landed a brutal stomp on his chest.
Christopher had coughed up blood on the spot, nearly losing his
life.
As far as Meryl knew, horses at riding clubs were carefully selected and regularly checked by veterinarians.
How convenient that Christopher happened to pick a crazed horse?
Meryl sensed something fishy, and knowing Felix's vindictive
Chapter 641 I Want Chandler to Feed Me nature, she was pretty sure he was behind it.
The dynamics between the Powell brothers were indeed something else.

Though the same blood ran through their veins, they fought like mortal enemies, showing no mercy to one another. Their eyes met, and Felix's gaze darkened.
He wheeled his chair closer to Meryl.
Felix tilted his head up with a roguish smile. "Well, well, looks like you've got me all figured out, sweetheart."
Due to Christopher's injury, the wedding that was planned with Emilia in a few days had to be postponed.
It was truly unfortunate for the engaged couple, who were so close to their wedding day.
Emilia had been mysteriously kidnapped, and now Christopher had met with this accident.
Rumors were circulating that the couple might be star-crossed, given how both of them ran into trouble just days before their wedding.
Some even suggested that the Clarke family was considering calling off the wedding altogether.
"Yes, I was behind Christopher's accident," Felix admitted,
Chapter 641 I Want Chandler to Feed Me knowing she had figured it out.

He smiled coldly, "I'd say he got off easy since I didn't kill him."
Meryl fixed her gaze on him. "Your father might overlook these minor incidents, but do you think he'll stay out of it if someone ends up dead?"
As she finished speaking, Meryl turned to leave.
Unexpectedly, Felix suddenly grabbed her wrist.
His fingers slowly traced circles on the tender inside of her wrist.
The rough sensation of his touch made Meryl instinctively furrow her brows.
She tried to pull her hand away by reflex, but Felix's grip was iron-tight.
He asked, "Worried that if I kill my brother, my father will turn on me? My dear, if you're this concerned about my safety, isn't that proof of your love?"
Meryl frowned, trying to pull her hand away as she said, "Felix, you're seriously full of yourself!"
"Maybe so," Felix admitted.
"What's so great about Chandler anyway? He spent the whole night with Rachel, and you're just letting it slide? How pathetic.

Aren't you jealous at all? Don't you want to dump him? Why give him another chance? Are you some kind of masochist?"
"That's between me and my husband. It's none of your
business."
Meryl believed that as a married couple, they should work through their problems together through proper communication. They didn't need outside interference.
"None of my business?" Felix's eyes narrowed dangerously, a dark shadow passing over them as his patience began to wear thin.

He continued, "You're too close to see it clearly! You're just setting yourself up for heartbreak! Sweetheart, when he breaks your heart, feel free to come crying to me. I wouldn't mind being your baby's father!" Meryl finally managed to yank her hand free.
A gust of wind tousled her hair.
Without a backward glance, Meryl strode away from the hospital.
When Philip found Felix, he was sitting outside the hospital ward smoking.
Philip had come late deliberately, hoping to give them more time together. Chapter 641 I Want Chandler to Feed Me
But looking at the scene before him, had things gone south between them?

Cigarette butts littered the ground beneath Felix's wheelchair. Philip approached slowly, his voice barely above a whisper, "Mr. Powell, are we going home?"
Felix exhaled a cloud of smoke and shot him a vicious glare. "Who told you to take matters into your own hands?"
Philip didn't dare make a sound.
Felix snapped, "You'll be punished when we get back!"
Philip's heart sank.
"Talk about being caught in the crossfire..." he thought bitterly.

Meanwhile, Chandler's phone buzzed with several incoming photos.
They came from an anonymous number. When he opened them, they were all pictures of Meryl, but Felix was in them, too.
The photos showed them outside what looked like a hospital, in some kind of heated exchange, even holding hands.
Chandler's eyes narrowed, an inexplicable rage building inside him.

He immediately texted back to the anonymous number: [Who are you? What's your aim?]
There was no response.
Chandler glanced at Rachel lying on the bed.
If she hadn't been blind, Rachel would have been the prime suspect for something like this.
But she'd been asleep with her eyes closed since Meryl left, with no contact with the outside world.
Besides, given her blindness, it would have been nearly impossible for her to pull this off.
The sender's motive wasn't hard to guess. They were clearly trying to drive a wedge between him and his wife. But who could it be?
And since when had Meryl and Felix become so... close?
For some inexplicable reason, Chandler felt incredibly agitated at that moment.
He could finally understand how Meryl must have felt seeing him alone with Rachel.
He wanted to call Meryl to find out what was going on, but right then, Rachel opened her eyes in the hospital bed. Chapter 641 I Want Chandler to Feed Me
Still traumatized by her encounter with Meryl, Rachel's first words were. "Chandler, is Meryl gone?"
Chandler frowned as he saw Rachel trying to get out of bed, forcing him to put away his phone.
When she nearly lost her balance stepping onto the floor, he quickly reached out to steady her. "She's gone."
Rachel relaxed a bit. "I'm hungry. Could you feed me something?"
Chandler neither agreed nor refused, simply asking, "What would you like to eat?"
"I'll eat anything as long as you're feeding me."
Just then, Walter walked in carrying a bowl of oatmeal.
He set up a small table tray on the bed. "Ms. Morgan, here's some oatmeal."

At the sound of Walter's voice, Rachel's face twisted in disgust. "I want Chandler to feed me."
Walter instinctively glanced at Chandler.
"Walter feeds his girlfriend all the time. He knows best how to take care of women," Chandler replied.
Walter bit his tongue.
