Sophia’s Revenge – Chapter 64

Xander’s POV

Sophia had gone and got herself a tattoo. I wasn’t happy about it, but it was beautifully done and when she asked if the Alpha should punish her, I lost all control. I needed to take her mouth. Her mouth was amazing. s**t her whole body was amazing.

We left my office both holding her hand and went back to dinner.

“Sophia, did you get in trouble?” asked Avery.

“Ya Xander punished her that’s for sure.” Kane said.

Sophia was beet red. Everyone knew what had just happened. I didn’t care but she was still embarrassed. It was cute.

“Enough, can we just eat our dinner please.” I growled at everyone.

Everyone shut up and we finished our meal in peace. The three of us got up and went to our conference room. We needed to be there first and up on the stage. We needed to present a strong presence to the pack. Everyone had finally gathered and there was a lot of chatter going on.

“Please settle down everyone and we will get started.” I announced.

It took a moment for the chatter to die down. Sophia was looking really nervous, and Kane was telling her something. I planned on introducing her officially. Most people already knew who she was.

I walked up to the podium to get started.

“Thank you everyone for being here tonight. We have several things to discuss tonight but I would first like to finally introduce you to my mate. Sophia, please come here. I know that most of you already know that she is my mate especially since tomorrow is her Luna ceremony and I apologize for keeping her hidden from you all. There are specific reasons for that. Sophia is an emerald wolf.”

There were some very loud gasps coming from people.

“Sir, she can be dangerous.” Someone in the crowd yelled out.

“The stories that you have heard about emerald wolves are just that stories. She has been here over a month now and has she put anyone in danger?” I asked him.

“No, but we’ve had several she wolves go missing and nothing has been done about. Was it her?” He asked back.

“I can assure that it was not Sophia and that one left on her own free will and the other is in the cells currently.”

“Why is she in there?”

“Disrespect to your soon to be Luna. Now I have a few more things. Our pack is being threatened. We have another pack that is trying to abduct your Luna because of what she is, and we will not stand for it. There is a mission tonight to try and eliminate them. We are asking that anyone who hasn’t been asked to participate in it go to the saferoom and stay there until we have completed our mission. I would also like everyone to know that we have not invited other packs for tomorrow. We don’t want to put anyone in danger with this threat and we really want to make Sophia an official pack member. There is one more thing about tomorrow. Sophia doesn’t just have me as a mate but also our Beta Kane is her mate. An emerald will always have two mates and so tomorrow will also include him as well.”

“How is that going to work? Will we have to Alphas?” Someone else asked.

“How is that going to work? Will we have to Alphas?” Someone else asked.

“We are unsure, but we will address whatever happens. We have a council member that will be performing the ceremony tomorrow and will help us with whatever happens.”

“Do we know what pack is behind the threats?” Someone else asked.

“Yes, they are called the b***d pack. We think someone is using them to get to us, but we don’t know who yet.”

There didn’t seem to be any more questions as people started to chat amongst themselves.

“If everyone could meet back here at ten and those that are not going into the safe room, please be here at nine so that we can get you all up to speed.”

I stepped down and took Sophia and went to our room. Once there Kane and I sat her down on the couch.

“Beautiful, we want to talk with you. We really have reservations about tonight.”

“I know you do, but we can do this. We have practiced and Stella is confident that things will go good.”

“I know but we just want you to be protected and nothing to happen to you.” I said.

She didn’t say anything but we all just snuggled on the couch and held each other like this would be the last time. We stayed there until it was time to change and head downstairs. We all got ready silence and headed downstairs.

Sophia took a seat at the head of the table and Kane, and I spread the maps out. People filtered in in groups of five. We explained where each one would be and their duty for the night. After everyone knew their jobs, we started helping everyone else get into the saferoom.

Sara was helping my mom and was a blubbering mess. I think the pregnancy hormones have kicked in. Avery was also crying. She wasn’t happy we wouldn’t let her go but Trevor had helped to calm her down. We got everyone in there and made sure that everyone had everything they needed and shut the door and locked it. My mom would also lock it from the inside so that nobody would be able to get in.

We walked outside and started to get everyone into their place. I had all of our warriors out here and some that weren’t warriors yet but had proven to be strong. We weren’t taking any chances. After everyone was in place, the group that would be going with us met up with Trevor. He went to them one by one and used the cloaking spell. They all slowly just disappeared. When it was down to just Kane, Trevor, Sophia and I, the nerves really started to kick in. We were actually going through with this.

“Beautiful, this will work. It will be OK. We are with you the entire time and you can mind link both Kane and I.”

“I know it’s just a weird feeling.” Sophia said.

“I know, but let’s get this show on the road. I want to get you back home as soon as possible.” I told her.

Kane and I both gave her a big k**s and told her we loved her. It felt like goodbye, but we wouldn’t let her leave us. Trevor came up and placed the cloaking spell on both of us and we just disappeared and then he did it to himself and now it appeared that she was by herself.

We took off to the meeting spot. It was about an hour’s walk, and we arrived in plenty of time to make sure that everything was set up.

“Beautiful, we are all here with you and Trevor has put the rooting spell in place as well.” I told her.

She walked around trying to get out of it and she wasn’t able to. I breathed a little easier knowing this. She just sat down and waited. I went over and sat right beside her. We all just continued to wait for them to show up. It was past midnight, and they were still not here.

“Maybe we should just leave,” I mind linked her.

“No, they will be here.”

We continued to wait and around 1 am they showed up. You could smell the sickly sweet smell again and then five wolves appeared right in front of her.

“Sophia, nice to finally to be able to see you in person. I am glad that you decided to make this easy. You do not belong to Xander, and I will not allow this to happen. I will be taking you to your rightful owner.” Jules said.

“I just came out here to tell you that I will not be going anywhere with you or anyone ever. I do believe that Xander is mine. I bear his mark but do you Jules?” Sophia asked.

“I see he has been telling you about me. Did he tell you about when I rejected him?”

“Yes, and I think that you are the vilest person I’ve ever met.”

“Well, what he doesn’t know is that night, produced him an heir. I will get him back and take my rightful place. He will either take us back or his daughter will die. I can’t stand that stupid child.”

I was seeing red. I so badly wanted to attack her, but I knew that if I did, I would blow our cover and Sophia would be in danger and I wouldn’t risk or my child’s life.
