Sophia’s Revenge – Chapter 99

Kane’s POV

I was swimming in blackness. It was comfortable. Maybe I’m dead. I had s*x with the Luna, and the Alpha was taking a shower, and we were in the living room. He would kill me if he walked out and saw me. I don’t know why I did it, but it felt right. River was all on board and was encouraging me, kept flashing me pictures of different positions we could do and different ways to touch her. Once he started that I couldn’t stop myself.

She was so beautiful; her skin was so smooth. She took her bra off and laid back on the couch and begged me to f**k her. I was ready, that was for sure. Once I got her pants off and I could see how wet she was for me I couldn’t wait anymore. I lined myself up with her and started to thrust into her. I started off slowly building her up and I could tell the faster I went the closer she got. I wanted to see her as she came. I knew it would be a sight I couldn’t forget. I could feel her walls start to contract around me as she finally let go and came, and I was right she was beautiful when she did it.

She pushed me off her and pushed me on the couch and straddled my lap and lowered herself down on me. Oh, goddess she was amazing. I grabbed her h**s and moved her at the pace I liked. She seemed to enjoy it as well as she started to m**n, and I knew it wasn’t going to be long before I filled her up. She kept moving at the pace I set, and her breast were bouncing in my face and that was it I was gone. I threw my head back started to c*m. Then she marked me. s**t, she marked me. What the hell was she thinking? That’s why I’m in blackness, the Alpha had to have killed me.

I continued to float in this blackness. I tried to reach out to River but couldn’t feel him. That had me worried. I didn’t want to lose him. He has been with me through everything, even when we didn’t know who we were. Well, we still don’t but one day we will figure it out. I continued to float around but started to look for River. He had to be here somewhere. I started to panic as I couldn’t find him anywhere and when my heart rate picked up and I could feel myself start to shake, which is when I started to fall through the blackness. I kept falling and quickly picked up speed. I wasn’t sure what was going on, but I had to come to a stop at some point and that meant landing on something. I just prayed it wasn’t something hard. I closed my eyes not wanting to see where I was going to land. I could feel myself picking up more and more and speed. If I am not dead, this is will kill me. Finally, I came to a stop on something soft. It was like a big white fluffy cloud. I opened my eyes to see that I was on a big white fluffy cloud. There was no one around, so I just laid back and relaxed back. I don’t know how long I have been laying here, when I could feel someone, or something come up behind me.

I sat up and watched as a woman walked towards me. She was beautiful. She had a golden glow about her. As she got closer, I could see that she was a beautiful woman. Besides her golden glow about her, she also had golden hair that was down to her waist and a flowy white dress. She came and sat down right beside me. She had this calmness about her.

“What a mess we’ve made!” She said.

“I am sorry, but who are you?” I asked

“That’s right, you don’t remember me, but we have met before. I am the moon goddess.”

“I’m sorry, but I’ve met the moon goddess before?” I asked dumb founded.

“Oh yes, child, we have. You actually died a while back, and when you got to me, I forced you to make one of two choices.”

“Is that why I have no memories.”

“You have your memories they just haven’t returned, but first, we need to discuss a few things. I had asked you to protect her, and you did just that. You protected her from herself so that she could fight in a war that is coming, and that is where I am going to need her. You weren’t supposed to die when you did. So, when you came here, I gave you two options.”

“What were my two options?”

“You could either give your mate the one she wanted in life, a child, or you could go back and continue to live your life with her.”

“And I chose her child, I am assuming.”

“Yes, and so for your selflessness, I was able to send you back to earth but not to her. You just so happen to land in a spot that is by that awful man. He took you in and then sent you right back to your family. It couldn’t have worked out any better.”

“Thank you for letting me get back to her.”

“That’s where you belong, but you still have some ahead of you.”

“Ok, and what is that?”

“Even though she marked you, your bond with both of them was broken. The one with Sophia is back in place. However, you had a special bond with Xander, and it’s gone.”

“Can we change that?”

“You have to earn his trust, and you have to get your relationship back with him. Once you have restored your bond with Xander the bond, the three of you shared will slowly start to snap back into place.”

“I am up for the challenge.”

“I knew you would be. You have always been ready for a good challenge.”

“When will I get my memories back?”

“Soon, but our time is now up. You must go back.”

As soon as she said that, she leaned down and kissed my forehead like a mother would, and I started falling again. I don’t know how long I fell, but I could feel that I was in my body. I could hear people yelling.

“Xander, please try to understand that I love him just as much as I do you,” the Luna cried.

“We don’t know what he has been through, and we don’t know if he is really who he says he is,” the Alpha said.

“He is my other mate, and I will not stop until I prove that.”

“Why did you mark him?”

“Because I love him.”

“You don’t know him anymore.”

I couldn’t take it anymore; the yelling was getting more and more. I finally opened my eyes, and I was still sitting on the couch and was still naked. I quickly looked for some clothes and found my underwear close by, I grabbed them and put them on. They still hadn’t realized that I was awake, and things were heating up between them. The Alpha had gotten close to her and grabbed her by the arm. He was mad, I could see his wolf pushing forward.

“Xander, stop it. You’re hurting my arm.” She yelled.

“NO! I am your mate, and you will do as I say.”

I couldn’t stop myself and rushed towards him, and ripped him away from her. I placed my body between the two of them. I wasn’t going to let him hurt her.

“Get out of my way, Kane. I am not done discussing this with my mate.” He roared.

“Over my dead body. You will not hurt her.”

I could see that his wolf had completely taken over, and I had a feeling this was going to be bad. So bad. We just stood there staring each other down. After about 30 seconds, he lunged at me. I hit the ground with him on top of me and both of us trying to get the other one to leave. He was stronger than me that’s for sure, but I could hold my own. He started to hit me, but I was matching him. I swung my knee up and got him in the side. It slowed him down for a minute.

“STOP!” yelled Sophia.

We ignored her but that was a mistake because suddenly we both went flying away from each other. We landed on opposite sides of the room. I tried to get up but can’t seem to move. I look up to see that Sophia is glowing green. She is walking to the middle of the room.

“Listen here, both of you boys. You are both my mates, and I love you both very much, but right now, Xander, you are acting like a possessive little wolf, and I don’t like it. We will continue to learn about Kane, but I had to mark him. You will understand soon. Now, if I let you up, will you both promise to be nice to each other?”

She just stared at Xander, who didn’t want to give in to her. He just glared at her. When she looked at me, I just nodded. I just wanted to protect her, but I think she can handle her own. She finally let me up and turned back to Xander.

“Well, Xander, what is it going to be?”

“FINE!” He roared.

She finally let him up, and the second he was up, he stormed out of the room. I really just wanted to be near her but didn’t know how she would feel about that, but I was going to try. I walked over and wrapped my arms around her. She just melted into me. It felt right, I should be here. I will make this work.

“Kane, as much as I want you here, for right now, I think that maybe it’s best if you went to your room. I need to make this right with Xander, but I promise it will get better.”

“Baby girl, I understand, and I promise I will always be here. I may not remember you, but I know that at one point, I loved you very much, and I think I am falling in love with you again.”

I didn’t want her to respond to me. I wanted her to think about it. I turned and walked out of her room. I had a headache, so I went back to my room to lay down.

“River, you haven’t said much. How do you feel about this?”

“I am good with it. I know she did it without asking, but it feels right. Hopefully, we will feel the mate bond soon.”

I cut the link, knowing he was not ready to really talk. He was always so quiet, so I didn’t worry. I had finally made it to my room and laid down in my bed, letting sleep consume me quickly.

I woke up with my heart beating a million miles a minute and covered in sweat. The headache I had was still there, and I could feel it pounding. It was making my vision blurry, and my stomach was rolling, I wanted to vomit.

“River, what is this about? Can’t you stop it.”

“No, I don’t feel good either.”

I was about to ask him why he didn’t feel good when I felt like my head my was splitting in half. I screamed out in pain because it was bad. I was starting to see stars and blackness. I heard my guard open the door asking if I was ok, but I couldn’t answer him. The blackness was overtaking me, and I welcomed it, hoping that it would stop the pain. Suddenly, the pain eased up, and it was like my life flashed before my eyes. I could see every memory of everything that has happened to me. I think my memories are returning.
