Chapter 21: Her invitation

Shawn was taken aback by her words, he had not expected her to be so blunt and direct and invite him over to her bedroom. This was bit the first time though the was going to be entering into her room, but it was the first time that she had invited him over. Other times, he would only enter get room when he needed something or tried to call her attention on something, nevertheless this time she was not inviting him over for any of those things, she was inviting him over because she wanted him. She needed him that night. A lot was going in the company and in her life, perhaps the only good thing that has happened so far has been her marriage to Shawn. Her mother was still at the hospital, and at work, she had the Annoying Mike Donavan as her Boss always trying to get into her pants. That was why he resulted to such ridiculous scheme and tried to get her intoxicated do that he can have his way with her, what he never expected was for a guardian angel to appear last minute and best the crap out of him, he will have to be say for a long time. Meanwhile, there was Ashley Herbert, the woman hated her guys and does not fail to show her contempt. It wasn't Hannah's fault that she was just better than her in is many things. However, Ashley was not those kind of women who will accept defeat and walk Away, it was not going to happen, not when she was still alive. She intended to use everything at her disposal and Hannah got sick and tired of that, especially when she had to drag her poor husband into their conversation. That was the height of her insults and right there, she knew she needed to put her in her place else she will not give up, and will keep coming after her at work. She was making her lose face before her collegues, that was something that she did not appreciate.

Hannah worked hard, she was one of the hard working employee and did not deserve to be treated this way. If she hadn't given her the beating of her room life, she will not have learnt her lessons and would still keep coming back. A smile formed on her lips when she remembered how Ashley pleaded for mercy and swore not to do what she did ever again, Hannah didn't quite believe her but decided to let her since she has succeeded in humiliating her at the rooftop.

For the rest of her days at work, she had her inner peace, it was an quiet environment without the two people who made her life a living hell everyday at work.

Even though she did not have any close relationship with any of her collegues, she respected them and they did the Same to her when Ashley was not around.

There was thin line that they haven't crosses yet and she really hopes that they don't cross it at all, she was not hoping to give them a tatse of their own medicine, she barely even know any of them and just doesn't want trouble, she was glad there no one who had the same nasty attitude with Ashley in her department.

"Why are you smiling?'

"Why? Am I not allowed to smile again? There have not really been a law Forbidding anyone from smiling, have their?"

"Not that i can remember at all, except I make the law now then you will have to live with that"

"Yes, but you are going to give me an exception you Know"

Shawn smiled at her before pushing her face to the back of her ear, he bites her earlobe and she bites her lips trying so hard not to moan. He knew her favorite places without even having to tell him anything. Shawn was the kind of man that every woman hoped for. She never hoped for him though and was scared of him at first, but so many times, he had made her feel secure, he may not be the rich man in Armani suit but he was definitely the Mr. Safe and secure. He proved that the night he had beaten the crap out of Mike Donavan.

Mike never expected it too till those big palms collided with his face, he was fortunate, it didn't mess up his dentation else he would have to go in for yet another surgery.

He flirted with her and she doesn't hesitate to flirt right back at him, it has always been this way, she has nothing against it. She enjoyed watching flirt with her a little too much. Her eyes burned with desires as she locked eyes with him, her index finger ran on his lips. "So what do you have to say about that?

"Say about what?" He tilted his head he was hoping to tease her and make her think that he wasn't listening to any of their conversation but he was.

Shawn was not just a handsome man with the packed muscles, his physical features was something that women would turn heads for if he had the money or was one of those hotshot billionaires who appears at the covered of every magazine. However, he wasn't, he had good qualities that made him stand out, one of which was the fact that he was damn good in listening to her.

"Shawn, stop teasing me and just say yes already" she stood up and took a Step forward, her back was turned to him. He smiled, Hannah had those beautiful curves that men were crazy for, she looked like a model, he wasn't surprised Mike as trying so hard to get her to be his, she was beautiful, tall, smart and had a beautiful body, he would not have seen all that of he hadn't been paying attention to her all these while. Of course he has, there was no other Woman he was looking except Hannah Lockwood, for she was doing things to him without even realising it.

Standing up, he moved closer to her, and wrapped his arms perfectly around her slim waist, she tensed up, she loved the closeness. Her body heats up, but she knew that she was not the only one who felt that way, Shawn felt that way, but before she could fathom anything, he was kissing her nape of her neck.

"Shawn, I think my bedroom will be much better"

"Isn't it like Inviting your boyfriend over to study In your parents absence and then you both end up having sex in the bedroom"

she laughed. "Don't even start, you are not just boyfriend, Shawn, you are my... my..."

"Your husband" He got the right words right out of her mouth seeing that it was quite difficult for her to speak out.

"Yes you are and I am inviting you to my room, what will it be Shawn, are you going to say yes, or keep me waiting here all in suspense uncertain what will happen"

"I don't know Hannah, should I?" He arched up his brow at her and she shook her head attempting to walk away, she doesn't want to look like a fool standing here uncertain what will happen, but just as she she turbed to walk away, he quickly grabbed her hand.
