Chapter 39: His secret

"Have we been deceiveing each other?" Shawn Would rather feign ignorance if the situation than admit anything that would make him lose her. He was scared that he make her afraid but that wasn't the case. The only thing was that was not to scare her but if he opens his mouth and tell her that he wasn't even her real husband, he was sure that will get her scared or even creeped out which was what he was trying so hard to avoid.

However, Hannah was not a fool who will buntly tell him everything since Shawn knew her identity but waited for her to reveal it, she was going to do the same for her as well.

"I don't know, I know that honesty is the first key for people who want to start afresh and I think that we should give each other that. I know that I had wasted time I telling you anything about me but it is only because the situation cannot be helped as of then. I am not going to Keep quiet again. I think that it is time that you should also tell me anything that is you are keeping away from me"

He studied her closely wondering if she was saying this because she had to reveal a part of her that she will probably not want to reveal or if she was saying this because she knew that he was hiding something from her.

"You are right but at this point, I don't think that you are ready to hear what it is that I want to say" Shawn looks intot eyes.

With a single look into her eyes, he realised that she was adamant in hef words, she was really inquisitive and wanted to know everything about him. At that moment the thought of asking her again if she knew anything about him crossed his mind but that will be direct and he will be up shooting himself in the leg if it turns out that he doesn't know anything.
