Chapter 41: Revelations

As the words echoed in her ear, she blinked her eyes, this was not what she expected, a stolen identity. That was something else. Nevertheless, she was not going to judge him at all, this thing that was happening wasn't for them to point fingers at each other but for them to talk, she wanted to talk to him and the only way that she could do that was to let him speak, it wasn't that bad, at least there must be a reason for all of these just as there was a reason for her to up someone else Identity.

She knew that no matter if she had not known him for so long time, Shawn was different from the other men that she knew, he was not someone who would tell unnecessary lies just to get what he wanted, he was someone who believed so much in other things and not in lies. She trusted his words and didn't want him to stop telling her all about it no matter how hard it was for him to speak up so she placed her hand on his palms nodding her head reassuringly that they were doing the right thing.

"I know what it feels to take on an identity that is not yours and you must be feeling terrible"

"I am not feeling terrible"

"Huh?" she was surprised that he said that and he knew that he needed to explain. It is not like he had purposely taken it away from the real Shawn.

"It is not like that I took it away from him like ripped it out of his hand as if he doesn't matter, that would be cruel and I cannot do that to anyone at all, I don't want you to misunderstand anything.

"Alright, I know that but then what do you mean?"

"I care about what you think the most than I care about anything else, the identity was for a reason and the owner is no longer around. I think that he is even dead or so. I was misunderstood by someone and claimed that I resemble this Shawn guy" "Really? Do you resemble him?"

"No I don't think so, I think it has to be the body, but then that was the only one that I could take his identity since I had no other choice. I think he was lower and no one will ever suspect that I will be that kind of man even if they come looking for me"

From the way that he sounded, she had a feeling that he was trying to hide from someone, was he in any form of danger? Did something happen to him? What was happening? Could it be why he asked for help from G? She thought Looking at him, she smiled, she admired the fact that he was making an effort to the her things that he may not have revealed to anyone at all.

"What is it that you want to say again? Have you finished or there is still more?" Of course, there was still more she felt it in her gut abut had a feeling that he was taking his time to process the One that he just said to her.

"The thing is, that I never really met the man that has this name and I don't know much about him, I only know a few and that is what have told you already but if I remember any other thing then be rest assured that I will tell you All about it, you don't have even have to ask"

"I don't think I am much interested in finding out about this man as I am about you"

That was expected, of course, he knows that she will likely say this she doesn't know who this Shawn is and it is possible that she will not really care about finding out who he is as much as she will care about finding out who Liam is, she was married to Liam and even though she was married to Shawn, that was Nothing but just a name that was just in the paper, anyone can have a change of name and not only that he had not signed this Shawn's signature but his signature on the documents.

"Of course that is what should matter"

"So tell me already and stop making me anxious all the time"

He smiled and pinched the bride of her nose, he wasn't sure he was ready to reveal that part of him but then he knew that since he had started he would not stop Till he had already completed everything that he had to say about his hidden identity. "Are you sure about this?"

"Yes I want to know else I wouldn't have asked for it, we have already started, and look at how good we are doing, we are doing just fine by telling the truth about everything, Do you think that we would have made it this far if we did not try at all, tell me what it is" "Alright, I will tell you all about it" There was no escaping that today was the day that everything about him would get revealed, it would no longer be his secret but he was scared, not just about revealing the truth but about the aftermath of the pain that comes with it. Once she finds the real him there is no going back, she will as well inherit all of his enemies and every attempt that was made on his life will probably affect her, now he can no longer live he was living for me but he has to do everything fully aware that no matter what she was by his side and has to protect her as well.

"I will tell you Hannah but if I do this, you will be exposed to things that you don't know about, and somehow I don't think you can be able to handle what comes with it"

Her interest is Piqued once again and she asked. "What is it that comes with it?"
