Chapter 55: where are you

When she realized that he was leaving, she knew he was not coming back and just like her he needed to cool off but the only difference was she was the one who deliberately hurt him this time around with her words and actions.

Hannah watched him as he walked through the door and headed towards the kitchen, she moved her feet forward almost chasing after him but on second thought she knew she had to let him go and did not go after him any further, she stared at him hoping that he will

come back and look at her even just Once but guess he didn't and that broke her heart.

However, she was mad at herself for not being nice to him tonight and equally mad at him for admitting that they were made just when she had given up on ever finding her mate, in the past she had hoped that her mate would come to save her when Mike dumped her and cheated on her but then that never happened and despite the mistreatment that she was getting from her father, her mate never came for her.

"I'm sorry Shawn" Watching him as you disappeared into the kitchen she turned around and walked into my room shutting the door gently and leaning against the door, tears filled her eyes as his face flashed through her mind.

She once again remembered the same look in his eyes as he Departed, Shawn Had always been a bubbling feeling, with a big heart and would always smile at her desperate about how his day had turned out to be, he would always want to ask after her first before his own, he was never selfish like Mike.

"Was I too much? did I hurt him? Should I have told him the reason? should I go after him?" She was confused as to what to do, yet somewhere in her heart she was concerned about him and wanted nothing more than to be right by his side and let him know that she would wait for him to come around. She had not really grasped what had happened to his parents that made him suddenly decide to go back. They have been living together for a while and she has warmed up to him. He has grown to her and she has suddenly found him handsome and loving.

After what happened between her and Mike, Hannah doubted that she would ever be able to open up again to anyone, that was why when this marriage happened she only wanted to leave peacefully with him and did not bother to ask if they could share the same bed or not, she had already made up her mind that nothing was going to happen between them Since she was nothing but an illegitimate daughter who was never accepted by anyone not even by her own father, and who had lived all through her life fighting for herself because the one person who loved her the most was sick and could not defend her and so she had to defend herself by being strong; stronger than they can ever imagine.

She was tired and just wanted to take a nap but then she could not even close her eyes after what happened between her and Shawn as she leaned against the door, she could hear the words echoing in her ear, it was the same words that they had said to each other in the living room.

Perhaps she went too far this time around, but then she had not decided not to go with him not because of what he had just told her, she had her own reasons I did not think that it was the right time for her to reveal to him. It would mean if she stayed back in her room and so she stood up and walked out of the door.

"Shawn"She called out his name but got a deafening silence. she was ignoring her, she could tell that he had heard clearly since the apartment wasn't that big, it was just a simple apartment that could contain the both of them that she had rented and so the spacing wasn't that large that he wouldn't hear her, he was angry she sensed it with the way that he ignored her. Shawn will never ignore her, not even when she has done something wrong, he can only be mean for a moment. That could mean that he had hurt him deeper than he ever expected and had insinuated that he was a liar.

When she did not find it anywhere in the living room and kitchen, she went to his bedroom and knock on the door but did not get any response and so she turned around and walked away since she knew that Shawn hardly slept in his room, he would prefer to use the couch in the living room since he will always fall asleep on the couch after watching one of his favourite game. Sometimes, she also thought that she hated sleeping in his bed and could not sleep alone since she always forgot to turn off the television. "Shawn" She called out to him again but got the same response. "Where could he be?" She ran her hand through her head worried that he had left the house this late, but then she did not hear the sound of the door open like she always did Shawn was not the type to sneak around like a thief, he would walk out of the house as he would any other day.

When she could not find him anywhere in the house, she walked back into my room and grabbed her mobile phone to try and call him when a heavy thud suddenly resonated from the kitchen, she paused And looked towards the door.

"Shawn, is that you?" she wondered if she should head out or still call him up. However, that thought was soon pushed away from her mind when she heard another heavy thud. This time it came from the rooftop and that creeped her out.
