she stares into his eyes and he looks at her, he can tell that she has something she wants to say but is restraining herself from saying it. he always wanted her to be fair and open with him, but Hannah seems to not be open tonight to tell him all about our worries. "tell me the truth, that is the only way that I can let you stay, I really want to know why you don't want to go with me"

Shawn looked at her, unable to move his lips for a moment. her worries were a good one, but then he had no clue why she was being concerned over nothing. he had everything under control and was telling her the truth, but yet she chose not to believe her and to think otherwise. No other mate was going to come for her and nobody was going to claim that he was his mate. all along, he knew that she was the one but he kept it away from her waiting for the right time and wishing that she would give him a chance to explain. As if he sensed that she was not yet done talking, he took a step towards her and held her arm, rubbing his hand up and down her arm gently.

"Is that all you want to tell me?"

"No, it is not"

"I think that you should tell me everything that you want to say and I will consider it all, don't keep back any from me"

Shawn was surprised that she was suddenly bringing up his family when they'd already talked about them. he had no idea what they had to do with any of this, they had not even heard that he had found his mate, and he hadn't told them since he was not around. he was planning to once they arrived.
