"You are my mate, there is no way, I will not know things about you. I know a lot about you and now that we've mated together, you can be rest assured that it will be only a matter of time before I will get to mark you"

"You are going to Mark me?" she asked just to be sure she heard correctly. She already had a feeling that it was bound to happen since he was her mate. Shawn will likely want to Mark his territory to put off men like Mike away from her. "Of course, I am going to Mark you, I won't let you go that easily so stop worrying and come on, let's go have breakfast"

"Why don't you go ahead? I don't think I have an appetite to Stomach anything"

he shook his head disapprovingly, and held the clothes, taking it away from her and tossing it on the bed. "You are the one complaining that you are exhausted from last night and this morning and now, you are rejecting breakfast. You cannot reject a meal that I prepare for you, If you reject the breakfast I prepared for you, it only means that you want another kind of breakfast and I am more than willing to give it to you"

"You know what? I think I'm feeling very hungry and we want to eat right now" She was walking away when he held her hand and smiled.

"Why are you changing your mind? I thought you would be here so that we could both eat breakfast again"

"Don't be silly and come with me, let's head out, by the way, what did you make?"

"Pancakes, I wasn't sure what to prepare and I did not know if I should order breakfast for us, but then I finally settled for pancakes"

"When you prepare pancakes most times I get scared,"

"You prepare as if we are vegetarians"

"Aren't we? we are werewolves and so we are not supposed to eat everything "

"Is that what you were taught in your pack? because that is not what I was taught in mine."

"What were you taught?"

"Just forget it and come on let's go eat" Holding his hand, She led him off to the dining, when she was about to push out a seat for him Shawn held her hand and shook his head disapprovingly.

"What's wrong?" she was worried over his actions. This was the second time he stopped her from doing things like this, which got her curious.

"I don't like it when you do things like this"

"Why?"

"Because I am the one who is supposed to be doing all of this, it's an art of chivalry"

"Well you should know that an act of chivalry doesn't really impress me"

"What impresses You impressed?"

Hannah doesn't really have much in mind but she wants to repay the act of kindness Shawn has shown her ever since they met, she wouldn't want it to be as though he was only trying to get him to do all the things and she will not lend a hand to him. last night he had made dinner for them before they went to bed and had even washed the dishes, even though he was the one who has put her to the long hours of lovemaking.

"Letting me do all the things for you"

"Shawn, I can't basically want you to do all the things for me, that will make it seem as though you are my slave and you are not, you're my mate, someone that the moon goddess has blessed me to be with and so I won't even like that"

"My father did almost everything for my mother, they are so in love and when I was growing up, I promised myself under the full moon that I would get to do everything for my mate once I found her. When I found you, it broke my heart that I had to stand by the corner and watch you all the time suffering while trying to pay your bills and do all the stuff for yourself. I wanted to help you, but then if I had done so, you would have probably rejected me and thought that I was just trying to get into your pants"

she laughed and he smiled. " get into my pants? I don't think you would have gotten into my pants that easily if you were not married and if you did not turn out to be my mate"

"So Mike did not get into your pants?" he has even though, he already knows he was her first.

"And are we going to seriously talk about my ex-boyfriend who gave you a taste of his own medicine that landed him in the hospital?"

"Yes, I am jealous, I want to know everything that you did with him that way I will know who my competitors are and how to diss them out so that they will not have to come close to you ever again"

"who your competition's are? I don't think you have any competition and Mike and I are over I won't even be seeing him once I get to leave Garden City"

"What if he comes for you? what if he tries to get you back, you said yourself that he has always been in love with you, and while the both of you we have to work together. he forgot the fact that Ashley was his girlfriend and was always hovering around you. That made me jealous, and I hoped to smash his face, I get to give him a taste of his own medicine otherwise I wouldn't have been happy but I am leaving without beating him up"

"Yes, G told me all about what he has been doing and when I heard about the love triangle, I was angry and jealous that he was looking at you and trying to get you back"
