Chapter 73: Mark me

"Are you waiting for a special day so that you can mark me?" Hannah was curious since he did not mark her last night or even this morning. it only meant that there was something that he was with that he was waiting for which she had no clue about. "You will see"

"I don't think I like the sound of that"

"Oh, give me a break, Hannah"

"I think you like it very much otherwise you would not have been telling me about it"

She couldn't help but stare at him, she studied the lines on his face wondering why he had not marked her last night when they were both lost in each other's arms and she wouldn't have minded. last night she had hoped he would Mark her but why he didn't, she did not bother to ask him about it, if there was anything, she wasn't sure how it would sound and if he would think that she was being desperate by putting it first and so she kept quiet about it waiting on him for him to make the first move. Shawn did not make that Move and even though last night was a moment that she would never forget, it was just more than a moment, more than anything that she had ever hoped for, it was perfect and she would not want to ever forget it.

"By the way, I think that we are going to stop by the supermarket for me to get something before we continue heading back home"

"What is it that you want me to get, you already bought enough?"

"I haven't gotten anything at all, haven't even started. I think we should just leave this one with you tomorrow and besides the weather is not bright, it is looking as if it is going to rain"

Looking at him, I could tell that he was up to no good and wanted them to just stay over so that he would have his way with them over again and she would let him. this was what she had been scared about. The last time that she wanted this she never thought that she would be at his mercy day and night since she was not aware that he was her mate at that time. However, after last night and she finally realized who he was all along, she could not just say no to him or push him away, even when he was being silly, she would laugh at his jokes as if they were the funniest thing he has ever said. slowly, she had fallen for him without even realizing that, and there was no going back. Hannah was at his mercy, this was not something that she had hoped to but somehow Shawn had melted those walls that she had built up ever since the last one with Mike failed.

"It is not going to rain except You are the one who is going to make it rain, but I don't think you have such powers to make rainfall from the sky, do you?"

"I never said I did and I never had such powers but then we can stay back tonight and see how tomorrow will be, besides the drive to my pack is a long journey and if we start now we are only going to arrive in the night which is not what I want. I intend to reach there very early perhaps at noon so that I can show you around and introduce some people to you"

He was very enthusiastic about going to his pack and letting her meet the people that he cared about, she wondered if G was among those people that he was going to be introducing her to. Although she has never met G then, she has heard a lot about him and why they revealed their secret to each other. She could only smile at the memories when he told her that he was the one who had pushed G to slash the dinner bills that day at the restaurant. if she had paid all that money she wouldn't have had any money left in her account, but he was considerate and knew that Hannah had nothing and if it took everything away from her she would just have to start all over again and it would be really hard for her to pay her mother's hospital bills and to take care of their little family. if he were to come home with money. she would not accept it and would be suspicious of him, that night would have been a night of a lot of questions because she would throw many questions at him and he would have no choice but to Answer all of our questions.

"You sound so honest yet why don't I believe you?"

Shawn laughed. "I don't know why you won't believe me, but then if you want I can only convince you, it is very simple all you have to do is just open up your lips and I can make you believe me"

She rolled her eyes. "Don't be silly, we are trying to have a meal" She pretended as though she was not interested but then her body had already heated up and she wanted him to continue and never stop.

"Someone is not in the mood" he was trying to see right through her to know if she was only putting up an act or wasn't really in the mood at all. when she saw what he was doing, she quickly picked up a glass of water and gulped it down. "What are you looking at?" "Do you" he whispered as she cleared her throat.

"It is rude to stare at someone"

"Only when you're in public but I'm not, so it's only right that I get to look at you and no one else or would you rather I look at another woman?"

"Why would you look at another woman?"She was jealous and he sensed that.

"You know someone else was looking at me the other day and I wondered if I know her from somewhere else"

"Shawn!" she snapped glaring at him, standing up and leaving the dining table.
