Chapter 97: A dead end

Shawn and Hannah walked into the restaurant but Hannah was surprised that while they were investigating and trying to find the waiter, it turned out that there was no such waiter who had worked in that restaurant much to Hannah's surprise. At first she thought that the manager was bluffing and wanted to hide the waiter from them. Still, then, When they checked the CCTV footage, it turns out that there was no such person like that. Shawn and Hannah did not bother thanking the manager as they left the restaurant. "So that leads us to a dead end" Shawn admits as they settled back into the car

"No that doesn't lead us to a dead end because I know what I saw and they have come to that restaurant besides these things can be altered nowadays, it is possible that they must have deleted the CCTV footage or turned off the camera, all of a sudden they had a network glitch and could not record anything at all. I think they are all of this together and what if you decide to go back, will the manager equally disappear? and did you notice the cut on his lip it seems as if he has been threatened"

Shawn was surprised that she had noticed something like that, he wasn't really interested in the manager and so did not pay much attention to him at all, all he wanted to do was to find that bastard who had been trying to harm him, and his family and so his attention was just on the CCTV footage that was being played to them, but Hannah had noticed everything that he had missed.

Hannah shook her head she could not believe that despite all of this he was still being jealous even in times like this when they had serious problems and things to take care of.
