Larissa went to work with Aster tagging along since there were no kindergarten classes on Saturday. As Aster had grown tired of the children's playground in the hotel, Larissa packed a few books and a tablet into his small backpack, intending for him to spend the whole day in her office.

The moment she entered the office, Larissa sensed something was up. She was usually the last one to arrive in the mornings because she had to drop Aster off at the kindergarten on weekdays. When she arrived, everyone would already be seated at their desks, earnestly working. However, today, they gathered together, chatting like they had never done before.

Upon seeing Larissa, they scattered like a flock of pigeons and quickly returned to their seats. Those using computers continued their work, and those flipping through documents returned to doing so, their faces filled with guilt.

Larissa was not a strict leader. As long as it didn't interfere with work hours, she never cared whether her employees were chatting or using their phones in the office. However, it wasn't even 9 am yet. Hence, she kindly asked, "What were you all talking about just now?"

The employees cautiously examined her expression, trying to determine whether she was casually asking or about to scold them.

Larissa's gaze swept over their timid faces and finally landed on her secretary, Linda.

Realizing she had no escape, Linda stood up, forcing a smile as she answered her question, "Well, Miss Seymour, the cast of 'Time of Childhood' checked in at our hotel today, and everyone is very excited." Larissa had heard about the cast checking in from the receptionist's report. In recent years, she had invested all her time in work and raising her child, paying less attention to entertainment and pop culture, so she couldn't understand why they were all so excited.

Linda knew that, so she explained, "The male lead of 'Time of Childhood' is Thomas Langston, a rising young star who became popular last year. The female lead is Yvonne Zimmer. Both of them are very popular now, and many of us are their fans."

Larissa didn't oppose her employees being fans of celebrities, but there had to be a limit.

"You can be fans, but don't disturb the guests and affect their experience," she reminded them.

After all, that was the largest deal they had secured since the hotel's opening, and it was a deal that the housekeeping department had fought hard to snatch from the Regal Dynasty Hotel. If they lost it due to such incidents, someone must be held accountable.

Everyone nodded cautiously, burying the idea of going downstairs to try to coincidentally bump into Thomas.

Without having to rush to the kindergarten to pick up Aster, Larissa stayed in her office until almost 9 pm before leaving. When the elevator reached the first floor, she happened to catch a glimpse of a man entering the adjacent elevator.

His face was strikingly similar to Cody's. Warning bells started ringing in Larissa's mind, and her heart skipped a beat.

She was not only afraid that Cody would recognize her but also worried that he had some ulterior motive for coming to Winston Hotel. After all, he lived in Bartham and had no reason to stay at a hotel. Even if, for the sake of argument, he did need to stay at a hotel for some reason, his first choice should have been his family's Regal Dynasty Hotel instead of Winston Hotel, which had recently snatched a big deal from his family.

She immediately called the security department and reported the time Cody entered the elevator, along with a detailed description of his appearance. She requested the personnel on duty to keep a close eye on him and report his whereabouts to her.

Larissa soon received a message that Cody had entered room 1623.
