"That wasn’t what I heard

from you last night in your

sleep when I picked you up

from the couch, Amelia. Accept the offer while I’m still being nice to you, or I’ll tie you to the bed every damn night," He said coldly and let go of my wrist.

I cocked my head towards the bed,

"Fine,” I uttered. At least I would be able to know who the hell he had been talking to,

"There’s a party next week which was planned by the old man. It involves his business partners, friends, and associates in the human world, so you have to be prepared."

"What? Why am I just finding out now?" I yelled at him,

"Because you’ve been avoiding me since yesterday." He responded and I heaved,

"That means we would have to act like happily married couples again?"
