"You can be free to talk to me now, Amelia. I know it must have been hard on you back there." Clara said, and I sucked a deep breath in,

"You don’t like staying in the mansion? How come there’s no family photo of anyone in the mansion." I had no idea why that was the only question that came rushing out of my mouth,

She was silent, staring at me with a smile on her face, and it made me think she must have been offended by my question. I just wished to know more about the family as there were too many secrets everyone was keeping,

"I guess you’re part of the family but you still don’t know. I don’t blame you, Dexter doesn’t warm up to anyone to tell them anything." She uttered and unwinded the glass,

"So much has changed over ten years. So much." She outstretched her hands outside, letting the warm breeze touch her hand while I kept staring,

I let out a small smile. Maybe there was more to this family than I could imagine and judging by her eyes earlier, she didn’t want to talk about it so I was going to respect that

At least unlike Dexter, it didn’t seem like she was still holding onto whatever had happened in their past and that was something I admired

After a long tour of the pack and after telling Clara a few things about myself, we stepped out of the car that had returned home.

"Wow, it’s so shocking that Dexter’s willing to do that for you. I hope he finds your mother soon, Amelia." She uttered and I nodded my head. It wasn’t shocking at all if only she knew we had a deal and that was why he was doing it,

"You must be so hungry; you should freshen up and come downstairs for dinner, Amelia," Clara uttered, and I nodded my head.

I headed for the room to find out that it was empty. Dexter wasn’t in it, but I decided not to care. After freshening up, I wore a tight shot and a matching tank top with it,

As I got downstairs, Clara was waiting for me at the stairs, but the entire family was all seated in the dining,

How did everyone get here so quickly,

"Oh my darling, are you alright? The alpha king and I heard what happened during our absence. I’m so glad you’re okay." Luna Aurora uttered as I came close and I nodded my head,
