Sighing, I open my eyes and smile.

"Hmm, the king's council wants to move up the coronation,"

I'm still learning the royal terms, I read that the king's council are important members in the kingdom.

These are members found in the council but their positions are higher, they are the leaders of important departments in the werewolf race like the army, the bureaucracy, the police and more. "Let's get you cleaned up for work, my princess," Rayan doesn't let me go, I'm grateful for that because I don't think I can stand on my two legs now. I take off my coat and eye him.

"Aren't you leaving?" I ask.

"Seriously, leave," I'm putting on a serious face. He ignores me. I shove him back and close the glass door in his face before taking my shower in peace.

"Rayan can you pass me the towel?" I holler.

"Come and get it yourself,"

"Rayan," I warn. I slightly slide the door open and he hands me a towel that I wrap around my body.

I'm sitting in front of the mirror while Rayan is standing behind me. He helps me apply lotion to my body in the most intimate way. My hair remained perfect so I do nothing to mess it up.

I get fresh pants, and a black tank top and put a white blazer over it. I wear heels.

"You look beautiful," I smile as we leave the suite together.

I'm at the hospital. We are on me our lunch break. Shelly is with me and she stopped giving me attitude.

" Pretty Doctor, pretty doctor!" I turn to three little kids who barged into the cafeteria.

"Is every okay?"

"No!" Their answer is a chorus.

"Nena, hurt her leg in the playground, she's crying!" The youngest of the group explains, he has curly hair and a cheeky face. He's so cute! I wipe his tears away.

"I got the boys, can you handle the Injured one?" Asks Shelly and gets to her feet. I nod

"Boys, want to go get ice cream?"

I go to room 8 on the second floor, that's where we treat Injuries. I open the door. The girl is lying on the bed, crying. She's not a patient in this hospital but she and her three brothers come to visit their sister, Brianna. "Hi, Nena," I whisper. "What happened,"

I get gauze and medication for her open wound then start to clean. she's hissing and moving her leg. I stop

"Be brave, it will sting a while but will stop," She nods. She begins to count, trying to distract the pain, it's a trick I used when I was getting a shot. I frown as I inspect her angle, I think it's slightly fractured. "Malcolm pushed me, I'll never forgive him," she cries. I see why he was crying while explaining, the poor boy was guilty.

"He didn't mean to am sure, I saw him on my way here, he was a crying mess," I tell her. She snarls and huffs.

The door opens and Dr. Misheck comes in.

He is the pediatric physician here and is responsible for performing routine health assessments, id children to check for injuries or disabilities.

I smile and move away while he inspects her ankle.

"Is it bad," I ask worriedly. He shakes his head.

"fractured tibia. I'll pop it right back and will heal in a week,"

A whimper comes out of Nena's lips and I hold her hand.

"How old are you?" I ask, trying to distract her

"I'm 11 years old,"

" Wow, double number!" I cheer, she smiles proudly. I ask her about her likes and interests when she's fully distracted. The doctor quickly fixes her ankle. She screams in my coat but it's already done. I hug Nena to soothe her. I give her a pill and she's slept.

Dr. Misheck and I leave the room, he praises me for the job well.

"Nice trick out there," he says. I nod and smile. His eyes are Intensely staring at me.

"What?" I ask.

He puts a strand of loose hair behind my ear.

"Would you like to come out for coffee with me?" He asks, I smile and nod. I can use a hot beverage. I thought we were going to the cafeteria or lounge but instead, he says there is a nice place nearby.

As we walk out of the gate, we meet Mark, he greets us.

"Where to?"

"To grab a coffee," I reply since Misheck wasn't.

"Great! Would like some coffee too," he smiles and puts his hands in his pocket.

Before we take another step, director Hamilton and Shelly call us to stop. This time, Misheck groaned in annoyance.

" Where to?" They are both panting. Did they run from the top floor?

"Coffee?" Mark squints his eyes.

" Wow, I was also planning to grab a coffee,"

"Me too!" Adds the director.

"The more the merrier," I cheer.

"Let's go before the whole staff decides to have coffee," Misheck doesn't sound happy at all. I giggle and we walk to the nearby cafe.
