"What ring? The one you gave her, with a ruby - didn't you give her any ring?" I ask shocked. Jasper shakes his head. I shrug,

"well all I know is that she was looking for it desperately," Jasper nods and reluctantly leaves the room. I'm left to wonder why she lied, I didn't trust that girl in the first place and this only makes it worse. She's trying too much to fit in around her, call me paranoia but something is definitely wrong. " Baby, is everything alright?" My mate asks. I shake my head negatively.

"I don't trust her, babe. Something is definitely off with her," I say.

"Do you think she's faking her memory loss?" Asks my mate, drawing circles on my back

"Maybe,"

"Well, do something about it," he says getting Ahyan from my arms and putting him on the floor. He goes to the tall glass window and begins to play there.

Rayan takes me to sit in his place while he stands behind me and begins to massage my shoulders. I close my eyes and inhale.

"What should I do about that woman?" I sigh, getting in a relaxed mood.

"Just ask her why she lied, I don't know,"

I nod, I will ask her. I get up abruptly.

"Can I do it now?"

Rayan shakes his head negatively and I frown

"She and Jasper have gone to the City and you and I are going for a picnic date," he smiles. I guess it can wait, I look at Ahyan who has been a little quiet. I'm sure he wants to nap now. Being in the water has exhausted him. I notice the weather has changed meaning I have to change my clothes into something warm.

I take Ahyan to his room and ask a servant to watch him since Meredith and Arabella have gone out. I go to my room to change.

It's a beautiful evening and prince Rayan is out for a picnic date. It's a bit chilly so I wear a brown fur collar coat with black leather pants and add brown suede ankle boots to the outfit. It's stylish.

We are driving through the city until it fades and we are in another part, the trees are beautiful and different flowers are growing on them. There are no cars on the tarmac. I see an antelope running into the forest. "Look!" I point in excitement. It's so calm, green and beautiful. The birds are chirping and flying in trees. I'm captivated by the sight.

"It's beautiful," I whisper.

"I came here a lot as a child. I couldn't stand the castle, especially after mother's illness," he says giving me a faraway look for a second before he focuses on the road again. We are driving at a slow pace. "She seemed better during dinner last week," I say. Her skin was glowing and her eyes were bright with love and excitement.

"Yadiel and jasper have been giving her new Medication and it's working wonders," Rayan seems pleased. I smile and hold his hand.

"Oh, that's nice. They should continue doing so,"

"They mix it with your blood actually, it was just a test," he says. I'm surprised. I didn't know they were giving her my blood.

"I'm sorry for not telling you, they used the one that remained when they were testing you," he informs me. I shake my head. I'm more than happy to give them if it means it's helping to improve the queen's health. Rayan stops the car finally and I immediately get out. I'm looking at the waterfront in front of me

It's a waterfall and there is so much water and smoke. Beyond it is a rainbow.

I'm looking in awe, I've never seen nature this beautiful before. I plop Into a bench so that I can watch properly.

Rayan parks his car next to the bench.

"Want to watch it from here?" He asks showing me a hotdog. I drool over it and stand up.

"Is it always this cold here?" I ask.

"Most seasons, yes," he answers.

The top part of the car is slightly open and he has moved some seats making room for a blanket that holds food.

We have different fruits, One of them is blueberries, my favorite. He made burgers and sausages, already cut apples and cupcakes. It is displayed nicely and next to it is a silver flask and a bottle of whiskey, Rayan really does like his liquor.

I put my legs on the dashboard as he prepares a plate for me. We are eating slowly mostly, me while he drinks. Being with Rayan like this feels calm and nice.

We are talking about everything and nothing, our childhood and interests, they are so different, we are different but that's what makes us get along well. While he was the bad boy at school and lived the life of a party, I was always forced to attend them and even believed in waiting until marriage for s*x. Often times my friends made fun of me for that.

We also talk about Ahyan's future. I'm smiling as we talk about it.

"Do you think he'll after more of you or me?" I ask.

"Definitely me, do you see how much we are starting to look alike?" I gasp exaggeratedly. If Ahyan looks like someone it is me! We spend more time together.

It's late evening now and we are still in the woods, laughing and bickering.

Minutes later we head back to the castle, we kiss each other goodnight and I go to check on Ahyan before heading to my bed.

"Baby!" I call as I peek into his room. It's silent.

Ahyan," I immediately panic when I don't get any breathing. I search the room at full speed before storming out. I ask around for the servant who was watching him but she too has left the castle to God knows where!

"Rayan! Rayan!" I'm calling on the verge of tears. My heart is racing as I search the castle, already a bunch of servants is following me, worriedly. I'm sure I look like a madwoman.

"Ma'am, is everything alright?" They are asking but I shake my head.

"Search every room for my son," I say and they disperse.

I reach Rayan's suite and barge in, to my shock I find Olivia there. I freeze, they are not touching but standing in arm's reach.

"What is she doing In your salon?" I growl. Glaring at the woman, there is something different In her eyes, they are gentle and kind

She smiles and bows before walking past me. I grab her and pull her back.

"Why are you here?" My voice is hard. She is looking at Rayan, my mate's face is void of emotions, I harshly release and groan

"Whatever! I'm going to look for my son," I say and leave the living room.

Rayan is calling me but I'm not stopping.

"Damn it! woman, can't you hear me!" He sounds angry. I don't care about him right now, I just want to find Ahyan.

I'm watching and reach the main entrance. I open the two double doors and the cold air hits my body. I'm walking when a growl keeps me in place. "Lucy, stop and listen!"

I've never heard Rayan use his command before. It's strong and can't be ignored. Pisces whimpers in my head.

I sigh and glare at him

"What, prince Rayan?" I growl back. Anger is radiating off my body.

"It's not what you think," He says. I laugh coldly.

"You don't care what I think.

I ask you what was going on and you kept quiet.".

"Lucy-" he starts but I raise my hand to cut him.

I can't find Ahyan, I think someone took him,"

Rayan's eyes widen.

"Wha- what?" He stammers. He starts to call the guards and they immediately start to look and give orders.

We are searching around the property, Rayan tries to touch my shoulders but I shrug his hand off, I'm angry at him.

"She took him, we should be closing the borders and searching every car -" I don't finish my sense when a guard shouts

"He's here!" I begin to run there, indeed, Xena is holding my son in her arms.

"You're back!" She smiles. I grab Ahyan from me and have him lay his head on my shoulder as he is sleeping.

"Why did you take my son?!" I shout. She looks taken back by my anger.

"Oh, I was just helping," she says timidly.

"I don't want you near him, I don't trust you!" I say in anger. Ahyan stirs. I exhale and suddenly I feel so many emotions rush through me, relief, happiness, and anger towards that woman for causing this ruckus. "You just can't take him out of the castle without my permission!" I'm crying for good now. Xena is opening and closing her mouth. She looks scared.

I take deep breaths but I can't calm down, I was so scared.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry, Lucy. He was crying alone in the room and I thought some fresh air will do him some good," she sniffs, Xena looks genuinely sorry. She points at the two guards standing a few meters behind her "They were with us, I promise I didn't do anything to him," her body Is shaking and tears are threatening to spill out of her eyes.

Within a second, jasper is next to his mate. Looking worried.

"What's going on?" He is asking me.

"She took Ahyan out of the castle and we got worried," Rayan answers and kisses my hair. Also Ahyan's.

"I'm sorry," Xena croaks. Jasper hugs her.

I clear my throat.

"I'm sorry for shouting. I was just worried when we couldn't find him," I try to sound calm while patting Ahyan's back. He's still sleeping. I leave them and go inside. I don't take Ahyan to his room, he will sleep in my bed today. After taking a shower, I lie in bed. Minutes later, the door opens and I recognize my mate's scent. I close my eyes. He sits on the edge of the bed and strokes my hair softly

He kisses my temple.

"Remember when I told you that they are some people who are against us leading the werewolf race? Greedy, power-hungry wolves?" I open my eyes and slightly twist my neck to answer "Yes,"

"We caught those plotting against us and they were stripped of their positions and punished," he informs me. I nod.

"Olivia was here because-" I shake my head and sit up straight. I caress his stubble beards and kiss him on the lips

"I trust you, I'm sorry I overreacted. I get jealous," I admit and shy away from his intense gaze.

"Thank you for telling and it's alright to get jealous," he whispers. we share a deep kiss and when he pulls away he says

"I get jealous too because I don't want to lose you,"

"And you won't," I assure him

"Olivia's father, senator Chien was one of the five members spreading false stories against us," he says. I shake my head. That man was bitter and angry for his own good

"Olivia is to take his place? Can you trust her?"

Rayan says and nods confidently. These are the positions that go from generation to generation.

"She's loyal to the pack and I, and besides, she's over me now, I think,"

"Hmm, how do you know?" I ask, eyeing him

"I heard from Darren that she and Misheck are trying to be in a relationship. They have gone on several dates already" he informs me. Good if they think they can start something. Wow, Delish and Olivia will be family If they were ever to marry. I laugh inwardly at the thought.

Rayan gets in bed with us, we have put Ahyan in the middle.

"Are ready for your coronation tomorrow?"

"Yes,"
