The Alpha's Unwanted Mate -
The Alpha’s Unwanted Mate Chapter 118 Book 2 Chapter 50
The woman’s hands covered her breast and in shame brought her legs close together as she sat on the floor. “Please…I beg of you, don’t kill my mate…we come in peace…Xavier… we’ve come to see our alpha.”
Zillon would’ve tilted his head in confusion if his jaws weren’t hinged around the beast beneath him neck.
“We’re from the underground cave you raided a week ago…though I can’t pick up your scent, I know it’s you who took him…your colour is one of a kind.” Her eyes glided down to the wolf she had claimed to be her mate, then back up at Zillon. “Your men already killed some of us, even tonight we’re being hunted like dogs… b***d there was so much b***d, if we didn’t run away, we’d be dead too…have mercy we’ve never harmed a pack before and we’d never harm yours.”
Zillon’s eyes squinted at that…b***d? His men knew better than to kill before questioning, moreover, they’d ask him first.
Connecting to the open link, Zillon reached out to all three of them. ‘Have you guys found or rather killed anything?’
Liam was the first to respond. ‘I’d be glad if I did…this is getting boring. I have no one to talk to, nobody to kill.’
Then John. ‘No alpha…’
And lastly Fredd. ‘Nothing.’
‘Well I’ve got something…two wolves; a mated couple claiming to be from Xavier’s rogue pack. They said they were being hunted down and killed by my men, and if it’s not you guys, then who?’
‘How come you’re always the one to find out all the juicy stuff?’
‘It’s not the time for this Liam, I want you all to meet me back in the centre of the woods where we parted ways. I’m taking these two wolves with me.’
Zillon finally loosened his grip on the wolve’s neck, then created space between him and the two in order to take the biggest risk he ever had to in his life; change back into his vulnerable form despite being in danger. His wolf form had only one fault, he was stronger, he was faster, but if not to the members of his pack, then there was no way he could communicate, and right now, he needed to.
As soon as his fur retracted and was replaced by his naked skin, he spoke. “I want you guys to come back with me, we’re going to meet some of my pack members and I want you to take us where the others were killed.”
The shewolf swallowed fearfully, but nodded. “Gabriel…come on, you’re okay…just get up.”
The wolf on the ground rose immediately, he too changing back into his human form. Weren’t they afraid he’d kill them? But then again, he was in his human form too.
“I’m okay, but are you?”
He walked over to his mate, kneeling before her. “I told you to stay…an omega doesn’t belong here, you could’ve been killed. What if I didn’t find you?”
“I’m sorry…I was just…just scared.”
“You’re pregnant now, Davia. You can’t secretly follow me around because you’re scared.”
“I’m sorr—”
Although Zillon didn’t want to, he had to break-up their ‘whatever that was’ moment. “I’m sorry for attacking a pregnant shewolf, but there’s honestly no time to waste…change back we need to get back as fast as we can.”
He crouched down, ignoring the fact that the way he spoke to her reminded him of how he’d talk to Celeste. She was just as stubborn, he was inclined to believe that she’d do the same thing if she had the chance to…he missed her already…his stubborn little kitten.
She probably missed him too, but he’d soon be back. He hoped she found time to get some sleep and he hoped mom and dad was taking good care of her.

Zillon ran in front and the rogues behind him. They slowed him down, especially the omega, but she was pregnant, he couldn’t blame her much…
Throughout the forest, his eyes fluttered, the sound of paws stumping on the forest floors the only thing audible to his ears. He fastened his pace when he found himself breaching close to the meeting grounds, but ended up skating to a stop when his eyes fluttered around until they were greeted by a gruesome sight.
Slowly he stalked forward, scenting the air for the b***d and the bodies he saw, but he got nothing…just the scent of trees, of grass, of the earth…
His steps slowed to a stop when he got close enough to access the bodies properly…there were six bodies in total, four of them formed a circle while the other two created a vertical line in the centre.
Zillon knew what that sign meant, he was aware of the power it held and just the very sight of it had fear visiting his heart for the first time in his life.
It meant war…and surprisingly, this war was against an opponent that Zillon was sure he couldn’t beat…
The Alpha King…
He staggered back, surprised clear on his face as he opened up the link between him and his pack.
‘Liam…Fredd?’
Panic invaded his heart when he didn’t get a reply, his heart seeming to now be pumping in his head.
‘Liam…? Fredd…?’ he repeated, hoping to get a response this time…
His heart sank when seconds passed and he had yet to get anything, but just when he was about to howl out in pain, Liam’s voice popped up in his head.
‘Finally, you’re not the only special one here, Zillon…I caught one of the rogues too, he looks scared, he’s bleeding too, he won’t speak…but we’re almost back, just a couple feet away…’
‘John…I found John…he’s injured, bleeding too much. He won’t heal…I need help.’
Fredd…Zillon took a breath of relief when he heard his voice, the panic beneath it was audible, but Zillon was just glad he was safe. They needed to keep their guards up, they needed to be more cautious than they have ever been in their lives.
If they weren’t being serious before, they needed to be serious now. They were up against an opponent that nobody wanted to have a wit against, they were up against a king more ruthless than Satan. They were up against the alpha of all alpha’s, someone who had the power to even command him.
Zillon wouldn’t deny it, he was scared, but now wasn’t the time to back down, John was bleeding, he was dying, he needed help.
‘Fredd…where are you?”
‘Not far… hurry up…he’s trying to tell me something.’
‘alright, Liam and I will meet you soon.’
