Anna's POV

Since Drake left with Celeste. It was as if I had lost the desire to socialize with other people, I was too surprised by what he had done before. I knew Lance was his best friend so I knew he couldn't do that. Maybe he's just drunk so that's how he What is going on with that one?

I felt a little pity because I hadn't even let him talk to me before.

I just don't want Celeste to see me approaching her because she might fight me again.

"Yes, dad. We're leaving." That's it and we started walking out of their house. He opened the door for me and he immediately entered and we started to leave.

A few seconds later we were enveloped in silence. My eyes just focused on the outside as I watched the dark road.

Is Sir Drake home yet?

Did he get home safely?

"Did you enjoy the party?" Lance breaks the silence.

"Yes, I'm sorry about Drake's attitude earlier," I replied.

"You don't need to be sorry. It's not your fault...it's okay, I know he's drunk so he did that," he replied. I didn't answer and kept staring at the road. "Ahm... Anna can I ask?" he added. "Anything, what's that?"

"Did you notice anything strange about Drake?" I didn't expect him to ask.

"Why did you ask?"

"Happy birthday," I added and handed it to him.

He slowly opened it. It was a black necklace, its fabric pendant marked with his name.

"Wow, you do?"

"Yeah, I hope you love it."

"I love it. Thank you for this," he replied and immediately put it on himself.

"You're welcome, I'll go first. Drive safe."

"You too, have a good night." I just nodded and he started to operate his car. I waited for him to leave before I entered the condo. When I opened the door I saw Thea on the sofa, she was still watching tv.

"Oh, are you still awake?" I wondered.

"Yes, I'm waiting for you. How's the party?"

"It's fun, I'll just get dressed for a while," I said and she nodded. I took a quick shower and got dressed.

After a while, I went out and stood beside her.

"What is she watching you? Cinderella?" I asked with a laugh.

"Yes, I like this movie," she replied.

I stared for a moment at what he was watching. "It's good Cinderella found the one for her," she later promised.

"You're overacting again, why? Don't you have a boyfriend now?"

"I have a boyfriend. What news do you and Daruel have?"

"I feel like I'm guilty."

"Why?"

"Because he confessed how he felt about me."

"What the fuck? What did you answer?"

"I'm saying I'm not ready for things like that yet."

"Omg Anna, don't you have any plans to get married? You're getting older you can't stand it."

"I know Thea. But I'm not ready for such a thing."

"What's his answer?"

"He said he was willing to wait until I was ready."

"Mom, I'm already here," I paused in front of the house to see the drops of blood. I immediately went inside the house and looked for mom. "Mom!" I shouted but no one answered.

I immediately walked around the whole house but I couldn't see mom, I started panicking.

I immediately went out of the house to pick up mom, I could not smell or feel her presence around.

I immediately changed form and moaned for help.

Later I heard the arrival of Val, Hanz, Yuri, Berg, and Sil.

"What's happened," Sil asked.

'Mom was missing, I saw traces of blood in front of the house," I explained.

"I can't..." Hanz replied weakly.

'There's only one thing we can do," Yuri said. 'Let's use the black sand to see where Mercedes is," he added.

We immediately changed our appearance and immediately went inside the house. I no doubt applied the knife to my palm and let my blood drip on the black fruit.

I am full of worry now. Mom is the only one left in my life so I won't let her go.

I don't know where she is now, she just ordered me to buy something to eat and when I came home she was gone. I could not forgive myself if something bad had happened to her.

Three blackened men suddenly appeared in the house and forcibly took mom, mom resisted so they put her to sleep by punching her in the stomach, mom was bleeding from the pain.

I can't forgive him. I clenched my fist and scrambled out of the house.

"Marcus, where are you going?" Sil asked. I didn't look at him and immediately changed form and started running.

I didn't even see but I felt they also changed form and followed me. I honestly have no idea where mom is right now but I won't be quiet until I find her.

A few minutes later we reached the mouth of the Vamps tunnel.

"What are we doing here?" Hanz asked. 'The news is, vampires now hate us," he added.

I was about to start stepping in but suddenly five blackened vampires appeared.

"What are you doing here?" wonder what one. He slowly lowered his mask.

'I want to talk to Uncle Raso," I explained.

"It can't be. The vamps are right now because of the spreading news, you can't come in here," replied one and they began to line up to block the tunnel.

"In that case, we must do whatever we want," I threatened and immediately rushed. I ran quickly to chase one, but even before I could get close I was staring into the eyes of one of them. Its eyes were green and I gradually felt an unusual noise in my ears.

I lay down on the land because its power increased and the noise in my ears became louder. I gradually changed my form as a person because of the extreme pain I was feeling.

"Ah!!" I moaned. It still didn't take away his power over me.

"Enough!" Berg shouted and quickly punched the ground to lose the power that enveloped me.

Hanz quickly approached my habit.

'We didn't come here to fight," Hanz said as he helped me stand up.

A few more minutes we looked up at the sky with a sudden flash of lightning. Suddenly a small whirlwind formed on our side and Uncle Raso appeared

"I'll take care of it," he said weakly. "Come on, we need to talk," he added and walked ahead.

"Mom is missing," I said as we walked away from the mouth of the tunnel.

"I know," he replied and my eyes widened.

"But why didn't you follow her?"

"It's too dangerous if I rush there today. Do you think someone will tell you where Mercedes is now? If I had rushed there alone, I might not be here today." "What are we waiting for? Who kidnapped mom?"
