Chapter 24

“Sabrina,” The panting voice of Ray called as we all turned to notice him chasing after us. Kai held me before pushing me to stand behind him. “I warned you to stay away from my mate, what do you want?” Kai asked. “She is still ours and a rogue in your pack! We will take back what is ours,” Ray let out fearlessly. He was right though, I was a rogue here and my home was the red moon pack.

I would have stabbed Ray or choked him the way he had humiliated me if I had the chance to. I couldn’t believe it that he was asking me to come back to him after what he had done.

“She has no home there, She is the Chosen Luna of this pack, and my mate,” Kai let out, furiously. “I think it’s high time you left,” Kai let out again. I noticed the guards and his Beta coming to get Ray. The moment they had taken him away, Kai turned before giving me a confronting hug.

The feeling at that moment couldn’t be described, there wasn’t any word for how soothing, and luring his scent was, I couldn’t help it as I wrapped my arms tightly around his waist. “Thank you,” I muttered softly as I inhaled more cherry mixed with grass. The scent was addictive and I could stand in this position forever.

“You can sleep in the spare room in my home. Tomorrow my guard will escort you to bring your grandmother here for proper treatment,” Kai said as a smile appeared on my lips. I tried to unclasp my hand from his grip but he held on tighter, not wanting to let go.

The thought of him not wanting to let go made me blush, I had to turn to the other side to smile. “Are you okay?” he asked, making me turn to stare at him. “Yes,” I said, making him smile.

“What funny?” I asked. “Your cheeks are so red right now. He said, making me frown. “You look cute,” he let out, making a cough escape my lips. The moment Kai showed my siblings their room, I kissed them goodnight after we chatted a little.

“Do you want to go for a run? Maybe clear your head a little,” he asked, and I liked the idea of having to free my wolf. “Yes, I would like to,” I said as Kai held my hand. The moment we were outside, Kai shifted into a silver wolf. His wolf was as attractive as he was.

My wolf growled in fascination as we shifted. We began to run through the woods as the leaves danced in merriment. I kept bugging into leaves as insects kept escaping. Most of them flew away. My wolf was excited as it ran past Kai but a voice stopped me making Kai bump into me, making us roll on the floor. “Are you okay?” he asked, but I kept a finger on his lips.

“Listen,” I muttered as we tried to listen.

“Are you really planning on giving up on that slut?” the voice of Tianna proclaimed and I could see Kai getting angry. “Watch your mouth,” The voice of Ray muttered. Kai tried to leave but I stopped him. “Why are you stopping me?” Kai let out, making me peck his lips.

“We had better listen to what they are talking about rather than jumping out there. Moreover, I choose you, remember?” I whispered as a blush escaped Kai’s lips. “That which called you a slut, how dare she? She has no right to talk about you like that,” Kai said.

“I made a mistake by letting Sabrina go, it was all my fault,” we heard Ray say. “You should leave, someone might be eavesdropping on us, we can’t risk it.” Tianna let out, as footsteps of them were heard leaving. “We need to act fast,” Kai let out, making me wiggle my head. “No, Kai,” I said, making him stare at me.

“Ray wouldn’t stop Sabrina, he would want to get you and his pup,” he said. “He won’t get me Kai, I chose to stay here and not go with him,” I said. “You can’t possibly keep a son away from his father forever,” he said and instantly I felt pissed for reasons I don’t even know.

“Did you just say father? Ray has no connection with this child. I won’t let him have a hand in this child, even if it means that I have to leave faraway. Ray can’t have this pup Kai,” I yelled with teary eyes. I didn’t want to see Kai’s face as I turned my back against him.

“I’m sorry,” he apologized as his hands touched my shoulder, making me turn. “I wouldn’t let Ray have you or the baby,” he said before pulling me into a hug. He lifted my chin before softly kissing my lips. The k****s surged heat through my whole body and it instantly made me want more of his k****s. In seconds, his tongue was inside my mouth. In all honesty, I had not imagined us having a tongue k**s and didn’t know it would be this good.

Kai began to k**s me with urgency. He held onto the back of my hair as his lips kissed every part of my mouth, his lips tasted sweet with the taste of cherries mixed with strawberries. His hands began to move inside my clothing. I couldn’t help it as a m**n escaped my lips. I could feel his heart thumping hard as we kept kissing and the heat that radiated in my body was unexplainable.

In no time, we both fumbled to take one another’s clothing. Kai wouldn’t stop kissing me as he pulled my bra off and that turned me really hot, turned on and wet. “Do you want me to stop?” Kai asked as the moonlight shone its light on his face.

“We can leave right now if you don’t want this,” he asked, but I tiptoed before smashing my lips on his. I guess he took that as a yes as he began to k**s me more passionately and with that we fell on the leaves as I could feel Kai’s bulge, which began to grow.

It only made me smile widely in between the k****s. It showed that I could have great effect on him.
