“Your turn to ask,”I said, not glancing at Kai. “What really happened the night after you got rejected?” He asked. “I met somebody, his name was jasper! He helped a lot,” I muttered. “Another guy?” he let out and I could sense the jealousy in his voice. “He was just someone I met for a short period of time, I didn’t even know what he looked like,” I muttered wishing to meet with Jasper again.

“I asked him to help me forget the night’s embarrassment,” I let out. “Don’t tell me he made you sleep with Ray,” Kai let out, making me shocked. “Do you think I would just strip and go sexy with the one who rejected me?” I asked, feeling a bit hurt. “I didn’t mean it that way, sorry,” he muttered.

“I got to drink a lot, got tipsy, and ended up in a room. Wait, that morning Ray was present and that was when he banished me,” I let out. “Maybe that night was how this came about, he used you and dumped you,” Kai let out angrily.

“That’s fine,” I said, not wanting to feel any more awkward than I was. “Your turn,” he said. “Do you hate that I’m blind? I mean do you hate the fact that sometimes I don’t have to see if my wolf takes her eyes?” I asked clearly as he stood from his chair to come over to where I was seated.

He held my chin before making me look him in the eyes. “Your inner beauty is what matters and I would love you no matter what. I have waited for you and I can’t afford to lose you now that I have you to myself,” he said before pecking my eyes one after the other.

“I would love you regardless of your flow Mi Luz,” he said, making me wrap my hands around his waist as he patted my hair to confront me.

I was in my room with Lisa, we were dressing up to go to the packhouse for the party. My heart wouldn’t stop thumping, the fear of seeing Ray again hit me hard. After we were done, we walked to the party together since Kai had left, he asked me to meet him there.

The packhouse was large with many workers. The party hall was decorated nicely, the moment Kai saw me, he walked up to me before hugging me tightly. “You look ravishing,” he muttered close to my ear, making me blush slightly. He interlocks our hands together as we walk through the crowd hand in hand.

The murmuring sound coming from the people we walked past was pleasant to the ear but Kai cared less. We finally found somewhere to sit as Kai offered me a drink. “I’m fine,” I said, wiggling my head. I couldn’t afford to take anything that would make me repeat the same mistake.

“It’s not alcohol,” Kai muttered with a soft chuckle. I nodded before collecting the cup. “Sabrina,” the voice of my sister echoed in my ear.” I turned around to notice a beautiful lady walking up to me. “Linda,” I muttered, making her nod.

How, I thought Kai said they couldn’t find them? “Sabrina, is this really you,” the voice of Miguel came next and I just couldn’t believe that they were here. “Why did you leave without saying anything, you got us really worried,” Miguel muttered but I was busy looking at my sister and cousin’s brother.

The clearing of the throat was heard. I turned to notice Kai staring keenly at us. “We should go back home,” Miguel let out. “I can’t go back, I have decided to stay here. You both can stay here with me together with grandmother.” I said looking back for any signs of her.

“Why? Grandma couldn’t come, she is sick and she misses you a lot.” Linda let out as I noticed someone behind them speak, making me weak in the legs. “We have a baby coming on the way, we need to raise him together,” The voice of Alpha Ray filled the Air, and for the first time I could see the wolf who rejected me and called me useless.

I was going to say something but I was pushed back as Kai moved in front of me. “You lost her the moment you rejected her, she is my mate and mine alone,” He muttered as my Sister glanced at Kai in shock.

“She has my baby,” Ray muttered and that instantly made me want to punch him in the face. “You have no f*****g right douchebag, you were never interested in her and would never be. You come needing her back because your pack is in chaos, you lost every inch of her the moment you made her leave your pack.” Kai let out a growl.

“Let her speak for herself,” Ray stupidly said making Kai stare at me. “Kai is right, I won’t leave him. I’m sticking with my mate.” I let out as Ray held my hand. I was shocked when Kai sent him a blow that got his nose bleeding.

“Don’t touch her, you might end up leaving if you have come to my pack to ask for trouble.” Kai let out with a stronger growl. The crowd was focused on what was happening. “She never rejected me, she is still my mate.” Ray let out with a devilish chuckle.

“I, Sabrina Santiago accept Alpha ray d king of the red moon pack rejection,” I muttered as surges of power filled me, I guess this was what had been weighing me down, and doing this right now made me and my wolf pleased. I stared at Ray and felt pleased that he had tasted a little from the embarrassment he put me through.

I turned to notice Tiana glaring at me with a frown, I knew she felt like killing me right now. I turned to notice Kai’s mother sending daggers at me but I was ready to stick with her son, he was a mate given to me for a second time and I wasn’t going to just run away.

“Can we leave please?” I asked not wanting to see Ray’s face. Linda and Miguel nodded as Kai followed from behind.
