The Blind Luna
Chapter 27

In a few seconds, I had let my wolf take control. I watched as Tiana shifted into a dark colored wolf as she let out a roar. No wonder her wolf was as dark as her heart. The power radiating throughout my body showed that my wolf was indeed mad at Tiana. I watched as she ran towards me to hit me to the ground, but I moved, causing her to hit the ground with a loud thump.

Her eyes showed that she was angry. As she nudged me to the floor before getting on top of me, she sent me a blow that made me see stars. The taste of b***d in my mouth made me realize that I must have been injured. “Get up, she grabs my head.” I could see Kai try to intervene but he stopped the minute I bit her hands before holding her tightly making us roll to the floor. I slammed my hand into her ribs, making her wince in pain.

I was going to punch her but she punched my nose, causing a nosebleed. She got up and was about to give me another punch but Kai stopped her. “That’s enough,” he said, as Tiana gave me a smile before getting up.

She walked up towards Kai. “You need to teach that weak rogue some more skills or I might kill her next time,” I heard her say before kissing Kai on the lips. The sight before me made my heart sink as I got up and ran away before Kai could notice. I kept running, I just wanted to go somewhere far from him.

I was mad at Tiana for kissing Kai and more furious at Kai for kissing her back. “Sabrina,” the voice of Kai muttered, he was mind -linking me. “Where are you?” he mind-linked. “None of your business, have fun with Tiana,” I mind-linked back. “Please, that is not what you think,” he mind linked again.

“Go away Kai, I don’t want to listen to anything you say,” I said before blocking the mind-link. I didn’t want to cry, but I just couldn’t hold myself as I stopped at the empty playground in the pack before letting the tears flow. After a few minutes of crying, I stood up to head back when the scent of Kai filled everywhere.

For some reason, it made me want to forget what he had done. He strode towards me but I took some steps back, “don’t come close to me Kai,” I said. “I’m sorry,” he muttered with a bit of sincerity in his eyes. “You aren’t sorry Kai, you obviously did that on purpose, I know you are also using me because I’m useless,” I growl not wanting to show how weak of a wolf I was.

“You said you wanted to fight her even if I didn’t want you to,” he said. “You said I was your Luna but you let another woman k**s you in front of the people watching. What do you think they would take me as? I know you really don’t care, you just wanted to have s*x with me and we are over,” I muttered.

“I have never hurt you, Sabrina, I have always loved you but you don’t trust me,” he let out.

“How am I supposed to do that, Kai? Everyone keeps making me believe that I’m not competent at doing anything. I’m scared. Ray rejected me and left me in a situation that made me feel like no one could accept but reject me. My life is falling apart and I obviously don’t know how I can fix that. I’m too broken for anyone to like me and you kissing Tiana back showed that,” I said.

“I didn’t k**s her back,” he said, standing his ground. “We should head to the pack hospital, they should take care of your bruised skin,” he muttered. But I stepped back. “I don’t want to go anywhere with you kai,” I let out.

“Why don’t you always listen?” he asked.

“I don’t want to stay here any longer,” I blurt.

“Why? You always choose the easy way when things get tough, Sabrina, you make yourself seem weak because you feel you are blind. Being blind shouldn’t stop you from doing what you want. I don’t see you as weak and I don’t know how much more can I tell you that you are unique and that you are stronger than you think,” Kai let out.

“No matter what you do, you can’t ever please anybody,” he let out as the anger that I felt towards him began to fade. He walked up to me and this time I stood stagnant without flinching or taking a step back. “I don’t love Tiana but you,” he said before pecking my lips. “I didn’t have s*x with you to dump you, I mean it when I say I love you, Mi Luz,” he said before pulling me into a hug.

He rubbed my back as his words calmed me down, making me return the hug. As we walked back to the house, my thoughts were filled with so many questions. I didn’t know if it was a great idea to raise this child with Kai. The moment we got back, a few eyes were gazing at me, but I didn’t care much. I wanted to tell them off but kai quickly reacted.

“I have summoned the whole pack members, we need to get you treated before we head to the packhouse,” he muttered, but I mumbled nothing. The moment I was all cleaned up and treated, we headed to the packhouse to notice the people chattering to themselves, but halted the minute Kai’s voice was heard.

“Can I have full silence?” he muttered and everywhere became really quiet, a pin being dropped at that moment could be heard. “I have an announcement regarding the future Luna of this pack,” he muttered as the crowd began to murmur among themselves.

The place went quiet the moment Kai began to speak again. “This is Sabrina, some of you might recognize her and some wouldn’t, but I expect full respect to be given to her,” he said before staring at me. “She is blind, but that doesn’t mean anything, because I vouch that she would be a great Luna and all mated pairs would understand how it feels to have your mate,” he said as the people nod in agreement.

“I have chosen today as the happiest day because I have chosen to marry Sabrina and make her the luna of my pack,” he muttered, making me stunned. The people began to cheer and my wolf began to lighten up to my acceptance towards me.

“Thank you, for accepting me and I promise to do my best as your future luna,” I muttered as the clapping and cheering came from the happy crowd. “I have decided that nobody works today but enjoy the free drinks and food for everyone,” Kai said as a cheerful happiness erupted.

“Thank you,” I muttered to Kai as he gave my hand a gentle squeeze.
