The Blind Luna -
Chapter 31
THIRD-PERSON POV
Before you begin this chapter, I don’t want to confuse any of my readers. I have written about what happened to Sabrina in her past, this is like coming to the present after all her suffering.
I hope you understand?

“I think we can live here as a new pack, I have had this idea throughout the night, there are trees with fruit we can feed on before we began to cultivate more of the foods we have planted, the people seemed happy here,” the well built trained Man called Marcus muttered, making Sabrina turn to look at the happy faces of people who have been thrown out of there packs unjustly for one reason or the other.
“I think we should settle here too,” Sabrina muttered. Seeing everybody here made her happy and her two kids were the reason she wanted to fight for these people and make the people who have hurt them pay. “They seemed to be training hard,” Marcus muttered. “These people have been wrongly mistreated and I know exactly how it feels to survive a pack who has hurt you in one way or the other,” Sabrina uttered, watching the people build up a fence to surround the huge trees.
“These people want to be happy and live a happy life but their packs gave them pain, they wanted a normal life but were deprived,” Sabrina muttered, taking a few steps to help the others build the fence. “We all need to stick together and have each other’s back, it’s like the survival of the fittest out here. We have to protect ourselves.” Sabrina uttered, helping the young boy with the heavy sand.
“Go rest Paul,” she muttered before patting the little boy’s head.
“I understand, I also know how it feels,” Marcus Muttered. His family was killed by the cold Alpha of their pack, who had wrongly accused his father of treason; he had managed to escape with his little brother Paul.
“When this place is fully recognized as a pack, I think you should be the Alpha,” Marcus muttered while collecting the stone Sabrina had packed. “No, why would you even say that,” Sabrina said, filling in another sack. “You fight for these people and already they seem to be calling you their Alpha,” he said as an elderly woman passed Sabrina before bowing her head in greeting.
“I didn’t ask them to call me that, I just want them to find justice! Moreover, you are better off with the title than I’m,” Sabrina muttered even if she knew these people relied on her in most things.
“I have tried telling them not to, we are all rogues from different packs who have come to survive and fight together, there shouldn’t be anything like Alpha or leader. I just want them to feel free and stay happy after their bitter experience, no one deserves bitterness, Marcus.” Sabrina uttered.
“Moreover, based on my experience with Alpha’s. I guess I hate that word. Even if I manage to be strong for all these people, I do appreciate never to be in a position where they refer to me as an Alpha,” Sabrina muttered.
“What If you find a mate? I mean someone better than the once you first have,” Marcus muttered, making me scoff. “There is no such thing as Mate Marcus, beat it, and let’s get back to work so we finish this fence early,” Sabrina muttered, she hated anything that could make her remember her experience.
“Alright, Alpha,” he let out with a small chuckle. He was trying to make Sabrina furious and it was working.
*************************
It has been days already and the settling down has been amazing for them, they had a few tents already to lay their heads down after hard labor and training during the day. Sabrina’s twins Cain and Abel were still toddlers learning how to crawl.
They were rogues of at least sixty who they had gathered on their trip to find somewhere safe, they all sat on the large table which was built by one of the rogues who had been a carpenter in his former pack, he was accused of stealing from his pack.
Though he didn’t deny not stealing from the pack he needed the money to save his sick wife and only child since his carpentry business wasn’t fending him much, he tried looking for help but everyone shut him down. He was caught and taken to the packhouse where he was beaten and tortured but a close friend in the pack had helped him escape.
Sabrina watched the younger pup as they played with her twins. Her twins had that wide grin as they laughed at the funny face made to them by the other pup. She walked towards the old lady who was making food close to the fire, the old woman reminded her of her dead grandmother.
She wished her sister would come with her but she didn’t want to live as a rogue, she wanted to stick with her mate. Her cousin’s brother stayed with her sister, it was just her out here, trying to survive on her own. She had also been working really hard to get her wolf eyes to be stable for her to see at all times without getting to whimper in fear.
She was trying to fight all her fears and get revenge as the only citation left. All her thoughts were caught short when a teenage wolf at the age of sixteen fell to the floor soaked in his own sweat.
Sabrina instantly ran towards him before raising his face to look at her. “What happened to you, Sam?” She asked as he tried to speak but couldn’t. “Get him some water,” she commanded as someone instantly handed her one.
She watched him gulp the whole content. The moment he was done, he stared at her before speaking.
“We made a huge mistake, there was a pack close by, they caught Cindy and I couldn’t do anything.” He muttered, making Sabrina stare up at Marcus. It was late and Sabrina had no idea what kind of pack had Cindy.
