She simply did not want to listen to Gilbert’s lecture and would never agree to broalc up with Leon. with

“What? You are making him soup?” Gilbert paled, feeling as though he fell into a pool of ice cold water. Realizing that all that he said went down the gutter, he hurtled after her. “Iris, wall up. Can you stop being so stubborn?”

Since Iris and Gilbert both left, Louisa followed them into the living room. “tris, let me help you with that soup!”

Once the three lett, Anson and Ruth were the only ones left in the yard.

“Ruth, I asked for your help to break Leon and Iris up. How is it going?” Anson walked over hastily and asked.

“I was helping out, wasn’t I? What else do you think Gilbert is that angry with Leon?” Buth sald casually.

She never planned on getting involved, but accidently gave Anson a helping hand. However, Judging from Iris’s reaction, it was safe to assume that her trick did not work.

“That’s great! As expected of my sister. You haven’t let me down!” Anson praised her happily.

“Enough. I’ve done my part so it’s up to you to pursue Iris! Don’t bother me again in the future!” Ruth said, before returning to her room to meditate.

She successfully reached the Advanced Supreme State with the help of the Pure Energy Pill and she needed to meditate to reinforce her power.

Meanwhile, Loen laid in bed inside his room as he replayed what happened earlier bitterly.

He never expected Iris to place so little trust in him that she would not give him the chance to explain despite. all that they went through together and despair overwhelmed him.

Just then, he heard footsteps approaching and saw Iris walking in with a bowl of soup.

“Iris?” He gaped and rubbed his eyes in disbelief.

He thought that Iris left and would not come back since she was angry with him, so he did not expect her to return to his room.

For a moment, he doubted if he hallucinated.

“I made you some soup, Leon,” She smiled gently and sat down by the bed.

“It’s really you! Iris, aren’t you mad at me?” He asked sheepishly.

“Do you want me to be mad at you?” She rolled her eyes at him.

“Of course, not,” He sobered and suppressed his excitement to explain himself, “Iris, it wasn’t what you think. Let me explain.”

“Fine. Explain. I’m listening.” She nodded.

After listening to what Louisa said in the yard, her trust in Leon was restored, but since she saw Leon and

Ruth in bed together with her eyes, she needed to know what happened between the two.
