“Here’s the thing. Ruth wanted the other half of the Mysterious Maiden Method and she,” Leon explained the situation briefly.

“I see!” Iris exclaimed after listening to his explanation.

Once she knew that it was all just a misunderstanding, the wariness in her heart vanished.

“Iris, I’m telling the truth. Will you believe me?” He asked sheepishly, not knowing if she would choose to believe him.

“Yeah. I believe you!” She beamed at him.

“Really? I’m so glad!” Leon was overjoyed as he did not expect Iris to believe him so easily and felt much more relaxed.

“Don’t be too excited just yet! I believe you, but this is the last time something like this happens! From now on, you have to keep your distance from Ruth and if something like this happens again, I won’t let it go so easily,” Iris warned him.

Though it was merely a misunderstanding, Ruth was one of the Four Beauties in Springfield City and was almost comparable to her in terms of beauty and demeanor, so Iris saw Ruth as a threat,

She understood what happened between Leon and Cynthia, so she refused to allow Ruth to become the next person to come between her and Leon.

“Yeah. Don’t worry. I promise that it won’t happen again,” He promised.

“Okay. The soup is getting cold, so finish it now,” She started feeding him spoon by spoon.

Relieved that their misunderstanding was resolved, he enjoyed being taken care of by Iris, but felt worried at the same time that Ruth might not give up on obtaining the other half of the Mysterious Maiden Method.

At night, Leon’s concern soon turned into reality when Ruth returned to his room. “Ruth, why are you in my room instead of sleeping?” He questioned sharply.

“What do you think? I told you that you won’t let you have a moment of peace as long as you refuse to hand me the other half of the Mysterious Maiden Method!” She smirked smugly, before walking over to the bed.

“What are you going to do? Do you still want to tear my pants off?” He held onto the blanket with dear life as he stared at her warily.

“As if! No one wants your pants!” She spatted with a blush. She was not that casual of a woman and would. have never gone to remove his trousers, so she could only give up seeing how reluctant Leon was.

“Good, then.” He sighed a breath of relief.

He thought that nothing could be worse than being asked to remove his trousers, but what Ruth said next proved him wrong.

“Leon, I’m sleeping in your room tonight!” She declared.

“What?! You are sleeping here?!”
