Chapter 11

Ethan arrived at Eren’s castle much quicker than he thought he would, announcing his arrival to let his king know.

While Ethan was making his presence known, Eren was conversing with his wife Valentina in the boardroom. The two were discussing the power of their young daughter, when they were interrupted by Eren’s beta.

-My lord, my lady,” he greeted. The blue moon alpha Ethan is outside, he requests your presence my king.

Eren stands up, his return had been so quick. Was Shery healed?

-That trip was quick, dear, what happened?

He understood his friend’s point, his thoughts were not certain.

Eren looks in the same direction as his friend.

He stands up and walks over to the shelf of his potions.

-That wolf better not take too long, or else you won’t tell,” he says, picking up a vial of green contents. This will hurt, the moon is about to rise, and your heart is about to stop.

He finishes those words, then pours the green contents into the b***d. It became a little less thick and more liquid.

The chestnut’s body began to convulse in the crimson liquid, the witch did nothing, it was only left to the human to endure the pain.

The pair take their leave, and both make their way to the outside of the castle where Ethan awaits his king in his wolf form.

-All right, it’s time to go, the moon is about to rise,” he replies, looking up at the sky.

-Honey, can’t anyone else really go with them? -Valentina makes her last attempt.

-No, my queen. This mission belongs only to the two of us.

The alpha caresses his wife’s cheek and plants a k**s on her forehead.

-I will return, my beloved wife,” he affirms, then turns into a huge albino wolf.

Eren licks his queen’s face tenderly and she in turn, strokes his fur softly, Valentina smiles a little; showing her husband and her people that everything was going to be alright. She lifts the bag, and it was Ethan who took it with his muzzle. He walks away from them and waits patiently.

Eren, seeing the calmness in his she-wolf’s eyes, turns and runs with his friend into the forest, leaving behind a grieving she-wolf, but happy to have a brave husband.

-Soon it will all be over my queen, the king will finish with Lucian and we will all live without fear as we enter the forest.

-Yes, everything will return to the way it was before. We will be able to run free without fear of being attacked.

-All we have left is patience.
