JUNIPER

Ethan wasted no time pushing my panties aside to slide his fingers inside of me. He watched as my face twisted with pleasure. I held onto his shoulders, unable to look away from him as he pumped in and out of me, preparing me for more to come. I was his distraction, and he was mine. It was easy to forget about everything that was wrong when he touched me like that.

Ethan swiped his thumb over my c**t as he curled his fingers, hitting the sweet spot inside of me. I cried out as the pleasure suddenly doubled. Ethan quickly covered my mouth with his own, muffling my moans. The sound of his fingers moving in and out of my already slick entrance filled the room, and I knew he wasn't going to stop until he brought me to o****m.

Ethan broke the kiss and whispered in my ear, "You have to stay quiet, or you'll wake up my brothers, and I don't feel like sharing right now."

The pressure started building in my core, and I knew I wouldn't be able to stay quiet once the o****m finally hit. I leaned forward and bit into Ethan's shoulder, desperate to keep my moans to a minimum. While I actually enjoyed the idea of being shared with Asher and Axel, now was not the time for that. Ethan needed me all to himself, and I was ready to be whatever he needed.

My body tensed up, and I knew I was seconds away from an explosion of pleasure, but Ethan suddenly pulled his fingers out of me, leaving me on the edge. I bit into his skin even harder at the unexpected lack of contact.

Ethan hissed as my teeth sank into his shoulder, but I couldn't help myself. My body felt desperate for more, and I was ready to beg for my release.

"I want to feel you surrounding me as you c*m," Ethan whispered in my ear. He grabbed the back of my thighs and pulled me to the edge of the counter. He pulled off my underwear and lined his length up to my entrance. Then he slammed into me, and I bit down on his shoulder again, knowing that was the only way to stop myself from crying out his name.

Ethan pounded into me over and over again, never letting up his speed for even a second. There was nothing about the way he touched me that could be considered making love. This was a pure, animalistic side of Ethan that was chasing a moment of pure bliss to push away all of the unpleasantries, and I was relishing every second of it.

I wrapped my legs around Ethan and dug my claws into his back. Ethan growled, picking up his speed even more, and I was sure he was about to pound me into oblivion. My inner muscles clenched, and the o****m that followed was sharp and powerful, and Ethan still pumped in and out, chasing his own high.

His muscles tensed beneath me, and I knew he was nearly there himself. He let out a growl, louder than any moan I had let slipped out. I quickly covered his mouth to silence him, and with one last thrust, he stopped moving. I kept my hand over his mouth for a moment longer, and he stared at me. Our breaths were in sync as we slowly recovered from the little rendezvous in the kitchen.

After a moment, I dropped my hand, and Ethan started chuckling. It was a sweet, refreshing sound after the intensity of the evening, and I couldn't help but chuckle along with him.

"Asher and Axel would be pissed if they knew I just f****d you on the counter," Ethan chuckled. He held my hips with his c**k still inside of me.

I smirked at the thought. "They can always have their turn."

Ethan's eyes darkened. "Not tonight. Tonight, you're all mine." He picked me up and threw me over his shoulder as he carried me to one of the spare bedrooms. He shut the door behind him, locking it to give us our privacy, and I knew it was going to be a long night.

I woke up feeling better rested than I had expected with how little sleep I had gotten. I rolled over, expecting to find Ethan fast asleep next to me, but the bed was empty. I threw on a shirt from the closet, and the moment I pulled the fabric over my head, I knew the shirt belonged to Axel.

Ethan didn't have his own room here, since he wouldn't be staying in town long enough, so it made sense we ended up in one of his brother's rooms. I just hoped it wouldn't cause any jealousy issues between them.

I left the room, walking on steady legs. The pain in my chest was a mere echo now, and it was easy to breathe.

As I entered the living room, the smell of bacon hit my nose, and my mouth started to water. Ethan was in the kitchen in front of the stove, shifting a sizzling pan in front of him. Asher and Axel sat at the dining room table, flipping a deck of cards between the two of them. The kitchen and living room were in the shape of one big square with only an island countertop breaking up the space.

I leaned against the wall at the end of the hallway and watched the brothers go about their business. Everything felt easy and natural, and despite everything going on outside of this room, everyone seemed happy.

"Good morning, sleepyhead," Asher said. He looked up from the card game and smiled. This wasn't the Asher I once knew. The Asher who approached me the first day had been in competition with his brothers. He had been so desperate to sweep me off my feet before his brothers had a chance that he turned his charm to the max. It had worked until it didn't.

The Asher smiling at me wasn't in competition with anyone. He sat in the room with the others who shared marks on my body, and he was floating, no longer weighed down by his jealousy.

"Good morning." I crossed the room and pecked Asher on the lips before taking a seat next to Axel.

"Did you sleep well?" Axel looked at me, and I knew he was waiting for his own kiss.

I leaned over, and he met me halfway. "I slept surprisingly well." I glanced at Ethan, and my cheeks flushed, thinking about the night we had together. Ethan's back was facing me, but I felt his cocky smile. "Must've been worn out with everything you and Ethan did last night," Asher said.

I snapped my attention to him, and he winked in return. I didn't know what to say. I couldn't imagine Ethan telling his brothers what went down last night, which meant they must've heard us. "How did you..." My words fell off before I could finish my thought.

"The bite marks on Ethan's neck speak for themselves. I didn't know you had that side to you, June." Asher chuckled, flipping over one of his cards.

"I could smell you all over the counter, too," Axel added.

"I'm sorry," I muttered, looking down. I didn't know what to say.

Axel chuckled, never stopping the card game he was playing with Asher. "I'm just sad I wasn't the first one to break in the kitchen with you. I guess I'll have to settle for second place." "You'll have to beat me to it," Asher said.

My eyes widened as the conversation went down. This wasn't the kind of competition I was expecting.

"May the best man win," Axel said.

Ethan rolled his eyes, carrying two plates of food with him. "Enough of that talk at the breakfast table." He set a plate in front of me and the other plate in front of him. As he leaned forward, I saw the healing bite marks that speckled his skin. I hadn't realized how much I bit him. "Hey, where's our food," Axel pouted.

"I'm not your mom. Go get it yourself," Ethan said. "There's plenty. You just have to serve yourself."

"You served Juniper," Axel said.

"I also f**k her. I doubt you want me to do everything for you that I do for Juniper," Ethan said.

My jaw dropped, hearing those words come out of Ethan's mouth. I wasn't used to him being so crass. The twins clearly weren't used to it either. Axel blinked a few times, processing Ethan's words before jumping to his feet.

"Good point!" Axel shouted. Asher followed him to the kitchen, not saying anything.

Ethan chuckled, popping a fork full of eggs into his mouth. He had just teased his brothers, and he enjoyed it.

"You woke up a new man today," I said, taking a piece of bacon and nibbling on it.

"Thanks to you," Ethan said. "When I woke up, the pressure in my chest was much lighter. You made me realize I don't have to take on all of these burdens by myself, like I have always done. I have you to take off some of the pressure, and I have those two." "For what?" Asher asked, setting his plate in front of him as he rejoined us.

"For help. Alpha Winston informed me yesterday that they haven't been able to find any traces of Nathan or Anthony," Ethan explained. "They suggested using Juniper as bait."

"No way," Asher and Axel said simultaneously.

"That's what I said."

"If it means getting Nathan back, shouldn't we at least explore the option?" I said. I understood why they were all being protective of me, but this was Nathan. "I could talk to Kalli about it to see what the suggestion is."

"No," Axel said. "I don't care what their plan is. If it puts you in danger, it's a no. We have almost lost you three times now. I'm not going to play with fate like that."

"I agree. There has to be another way," Asher said.

"Alpha Williams and Winston said they were out of options, but they don't know Anthony like we do. I'm sure the three of us can come up with a plan to draw him out, especially now that we're not plagued with worry over Juniper." Ethan looked at me, but he couldn't hide his lingering fears. He may not have been worried about me dying, but he was still afraid his father would come after me and steal him away from him and his brothers.

"We already know what Father-Anthony is going to do," Asher said suddenly.

Axel furrowed his eyebrows. "We do?"

"We do," Asher said. "He's going to strike at Winston's alpha ceremony. It's his best shot at taking over power. If he can kill Winston and Alpha Williams before the title of Alpha gets passed onto him, then he will be the natural replacement." "Ethan took out his army," I pointed out. "Why would he still go after the Williams family?"

"I think Asher's right," Ethan said. "Anthony needs to go after Alpha Williams and Winston before it's too late, and they'll be the most vulnerable during the ceremony. If he waits until after to kill them, I will be the one to take over as alpha, not him. His best shot at still succeeding at his plan is to strike at the alpha ceremony."
