The Palace Beast
Chapter 72 - Lost in her Memories

*** FLASHBACK ***

"Hush,' he commanded. Indeed, it must be provided. And he kissed my lips, then my eyelids once more. And beyond the moment he usually broke off, the kiss went on. Then he withdrew slowly. I reached for him like I was blind. "Andrew, if you could please" My mouth met his.

He was giving me another kiss and covering my head with the short gown. He started to caress me with his lips, tongue, and strong, soft hands. Kind. Not horrifying. being aware of his actions. It startled me to feel my nipples rise. 'Shhh,' Andrew whispered. 'Shhh, it's all right, don't worry, just relax and listen to your body.' He was slow, rhythmic, gentle, moving down my body, down... and I was nothing but my body. I pressed him hard against me." Bonnie recalls her moment with Andrew.

Eva was with her as she pays close attention to her story. At first, Eva wanted to ask her to stop but seems like that's the only way to get her to move on. Andrew is gone and he's never coming back.

Bonnie then glances at Eva and asked in a soothing voice. "One of the reasons I wanted us to keep the lost book of Anubis is to use it to bring Andrew back from the dead. After what happened the other night, I wanted to turn in the book and then I realized I was holding the power of resurrection."

"I understand how you feel my princess but Andrew can't resurrect. His head was cut off." Eva replied.

"There is always a way out and you have to help me get him back. He does not deserve to die."

"I am sorry my princess, there is nothing I can do to bring him back. We should just let him rest."

Eva's response wasn't pleasing to the princess. She glared at Eva. "He's the love of my life and I can't leave him in the land of the dead."

...Egypt...

At Dry Desert Horus, Nephthys, and Bastet just arrived at the dry desert in search of Set and his captives. Suddenly there was a violent wind and out of the wind came forth Anubis. "Horus!" he called out as he makes his way to Horus. "We are here for Set."

Horus has not been in a good mood since he heard that his uncle Set has taken his mother captive and other noble gods of Egypt. He was burning in fear but was calm until he could lay his eyes on Set and then unleash his anger.

"Set has abandoned his dwelling," said Anubis as he positioned his staff. He has been out in search of Set. There were lots of souls crossing to the afterlife from Egypt. These souls were killed by Set when he unleashed chaos on Egypt because of Horus interfering with his business in Maxis.

As the god of the afterlife, Anubis is unpleased to see wandering and lost souls in their numbers. It wasn't time for them to die but out of Set's wrath, many have lost their lives in Egypt.

With a surprised look, Horus gazed at Anubis with a wide-eyed look. "Where is he then?"

"I captured one of his demons and after torturing him, he confessed to me that Set has made a path with the gods of the Greeks whose name is Hades and Persephone, the god of the underworld. They have to give him a place in the underworld to keep his captives and to keep him safe too if he will in return bring more souls to the underworld. I can't find many souls who died in Set's wrath. Some souls have not gotten to the afterlife and that's why I am here hoping Set will sure up."

On hearing this, Horus was enraged. He stormed the ground with a foot and the ground ripped apart.

"You need to calm down Horus," said Nephthys. "Set can't win this fight."

"He has my mother and three other noble gods of Egypt. What will our worshipers say of us? That we can't protect them, huh?"

"I understand how you feel, Horus. But ripping the desert ground won't help us get to him at all. We need to think of how to meet these Grecian gods that have allowed Set to walk in their path." Bastet said. Something like this has never happened. An Egyptian god can't seek refuge from the Grecian gods. Upon all the gods of Egypt, none of them ever encountered the Grecian gods not to talk about seeking refuge. "Where is Set's demon right now?" Horus asked.

His countenance has changed. His eyes turned blue as he stares at Anubis. He thought of putting an end to Set's havoc on the Egyptians and the gods and the best way to do this is to put the Set down once and for all. Horus was never known to be a violent god but Set has pushed him too far.

"The demon is dead. I killed him myself." Anubis answered Bastet glances at them all as she opens her mouth to speak. "How do we get to these Grecians gods? Set has literally declared himself an outlaw and he must be treated like one." "I have found the bearer of my lost book. And with their help, we can get to Hades and Persephone!" Anubis replied expressing confidence.
