The weekend went on fast and it wasn’t as bad, maybe because Veronica warned the girls to treat me with kindness and that she will back out of the wedding.

I found out that Dad was fired from the council three months ago and his company is in debt. Veronica is my father’s financial advisor and has helped many companies from bankruptcy with her contacts and intelligence, that is why dad is fond of her.

I’ve reached the school, and keep my head down as I walk to class but unfortunately for me, I meet Sheila and Shieldah in the hallway, laughing at something on their phone, they are identical twins who love to make my life hell here just for the fun of it.

They block my path and smile at me.

” Hey, Sheila and Shieldah,” I sigh in exhaustion.

” Sheila, did you know that little miss innocent is throwing herself at the prince like a cheap w***e?” The Brunnet sneers

I knew that what happened on Friday will spread like wildfire. These girls don’t like it when a girl is close to Ahyan.

” No way. You stupid skank. How dare you! Ahyan is my man!” she shouts and shoves me several times, I lose my balance, just when I thought I will fail strong hands catch me.

I look up to see who but the sun blinds me so I look away. As I regain my balance, I notice the two girls stepping away and bowing their heads.

I turn to see why they react like that and my eyes meet prince Theodore Altamonte, the prince of werewolves and heir to the throne. He is standing there, intimidating as ever in his might and glory. He is tall, has jet black hair, and has sharp features. The young prince was ranked the most handsome man in school last year.

He and I share some classes and he’s always so good and kind to all. Prince Theo is one of the strongest wolves in the realm.

I bow to him in respect and he curtly nods to me before addressing Sheila and Shieldah.

” Why did you shove her?” His voice is hard and his face shows no emotions.

” Well, Well- my prince, she was rude and I lost my temper,” stutters Shiela, no more is her expression bold.

” Are you lying to your prince,” A feminine voice suddenly speaks, lady Isabella is walking towards us, she looks confident and beautiful dressed in a black short skirt and a button shirt, the clicking of her high heels is what is heard. She flips her perfectly long blonde hair and then crosses her hands against her chest to stare down at the twins.

” No,” they answer in unison.

” Now you’re lying to me,” She scowls. ” However to punish you,” She looks at her boyfriend.

” Go to the principal’s office and report yourself for bullying. This type of behavior won’t be tolerated, am I clear?” Prince Theo says, flashing his eyes gold. The two girls scurry away and go downstairs to the administration.

I bow once again to them and leave but Lady Isabella speaks

” Amara, right?”

” Yes,”

” I’m Bella, this is Theo,” she introduces herself even though I already know.

” I know,” I smile meekly. The bell rings.

” I should go to class,” I say.

” Yes, we have commerce together,” the prince says, I’m surprised that he knows that ” let’s go,”

As we walk through the third-floor hallway together, I’ve never felt more eyes and whispers. I wanted to shrink right there. I could pick up students’ gossip about me, about last night, and how others are calling me vile names and power-hungry all of a sudden.

I sigh when I reach my class and let out a breath. The prince and his lady take their seats as well and when the teacher comes in, the lecture begins.

I didn’t see Ahyan the whole day at school today, or his friends.

However, I saw Sophie, I introduced her to Happy and they vibe well. It’s good energy with those two but Rhudo is still sulking because she hasn’t seen the prince today, I wonder where they are.

Today is Wednesday and I haven’t seen prince Ahyan anywhere, I spend my days with Sophie and Happy. The addition of Sophie in our group makes the bullying minimize, especially when she’s around.

She is famous already and people treat her with respect because of the close relationship with the Bolivar family, who funds most of our sports program, and share a connection with Cole, even though it’s not solid and they haven’t put a name of it.

Sophie is escorting me to my workplace, I clear my throat to ask,

” Have you seen Cole today?” My new friend giggles

” They traveled to an island for a private party on Saturday,” she informs me. My heart sinks and I g***n loudly. She elbows me in the side

” You miss him,”

” We are not even together,”

” But you like him,” she retorts and throws a hand over my shoulder casually.

Sophie is staying with the Bolivar family, they are distant relatives.

As we reach the restaurant, most staff know and bow to Sophie.

I wear my uniform and begin to work with Sophie following me around. Now she’s complaining about Cole not answering his phone or also keeping their conversation short.

” Are you together?” I ask as I take an order from a regular customer

” And lemon water please, or cucumber?” This woman is always so indecisive.

” Lemon, I hear it aids in weight loss,” Sophie cuts her, the lady snots arrogantly but nod. I laugh and give the chef customer’s orders.

As soon as I step out of the Kitchen, Sophie is groaning and looking at her phone expectantly.

” Just what I mean, I texted him and I can see he read but he hasn’t responded!” She sounds exasperated.

” Amara, go to the private Vip1 area and take their orders,” the manager tells me. There are different types of areas here, the first VIP room is the best and the most important and richest dine there mostly, I nod eagerly, more tips for me. Everyone likes to wait there.

I frown when I look at all the orders I have

” Give them to Lacy!”

” Yes, Ma’am,”

I give my orders to Lacy and she eyes me admirably, she is a lesbian and has asked me to be her girlfriend severally but I refused.

” Hi sexy,” she bites her lips. I smile and hand it over to her. I turn to leave and yelp as she grabs my butt. I glare at her but she winks.

” That is harassment!” I hiss at her.

Sophie and I go to the vip1 room, I turn to her.

” Find a spot to seat and order, you are not allowed in here and I don’t want to get fired,” she shakes her head stubbornly, saying some words in Spanish and following.

There is a waiter here already who gives me tables. As we go there, I freeze in my position as I meet Ahyan’s obsidian eyes. I gulp thickly and Rhudo howls in excitement, Ahyan is wearing a white muscle v line shirt that is guilty of showing off his biceps.

Ahyan’s lips stretch into a small smile and I collect myself as I go there even though my heart is racing in my chest. They are seven and unfortunately for me, Debra is there too. I scowl. They are sitting at a round table, chatting. As soon as they notice us, the three boys smile and greet us, while they talk amongst themselves, more like listening to Sophie complain about leaving her, Ahyan and I lock gazes. I avert my eyes at last.

” How have you been?” He asks, I answer after a couple of seconds as his lips were entrancing.

” I’ve been well. How was your trip,” I close my eyes momentarily, my voice was barely a whisper.

” It was alright, but I missed you,”
