Yvonne was getting married? Felix was stunned to hear this news. This was completely unexpected and seemed impossible. "Are you sure?"

Clearly, George was just as confused. "You had no idea? If that's the case, I think I know what's happening now, Felix! You and Yvonne got together without Lady Nala's permission, right?" Felix's expression darkened. For a moment, he did not know what to say.

"Forget I mentioned it." From what George knew about Nala, he knew who controlled Yvonne's fate. Being married off was nothing; it would not even be surprising if she lost her life. "When is she getting married? To whom?" Felix asked.

After hesitating, George replied, "She'll be married in about 20 days to a young heir of the Walsh family from Aleshire. They control most of Dragonia's shipping business. Whatever Lady Nala's planning, it must involve significant interests or she wouldn't marry off Yvonne.

"Everyone knows Yvonne's practically her personal assistant and is almost like her family. The Walsh family must be thrilled. Because this connection essentially ties them to Lady Nala."

Interests? Felix smiled bitterly. Yvonne had been right. She had no say in anything in her life. Nala controlled everything, leaving her powerless. "Send me the exact wedding date."

Hearing this, George panicked. "Felix, don't do anything rash! Never mind the Walsh family-if you oppose Lady Nala, even Moonshadow Alliance might not help."

"Don't worry. I won't act rashly."

Felix had not decided what to do yet. After all, he and Yvonne had only been intimate once under forced circumstances. Though he could tell from their subsequent interactions that she had feelings for him, their other issues weren't cleared up yet. Before the incident with Crimson Sage Sect, Felix might have let it be. But now, he owed Yvonne an enormous debt. He had to speak with her before the wedding at least.

Outside, Felix noticed Vivian seemed troubled. "What's wrong?"

Vivian quickly shook her head. "Nothing! Felix, I'll head out first."

Watching her leave, Felix could guess her concerns. The glory of Dragon Alliance had faded. Without Eloise, it would only decline further. All they needed to do was look at the power and abilities of the current vice leaders.
