The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection -
Billionaire With Husband 406
Chapter 406
Andrei always aimed for the safest approach in everything he did. When it came to dealing with Felix, Pierce was just one piece of the puzzle, and there was a backup plan that even Theodore was unaware of. "Dad! My... my legs are ruined! You have to kill Felix. You have to kill him!" Pierce cried.
Andrei crouched down and gently stroked his cheek. "Don't worry. I'll definitely avenge you. For now, rest and focus on your recovery," Andrei said.
Andrei's assurances comforted Pierce. After all, he believed Felix could not be a match for
his father.
Theodore asked, "Mr. Hawkins Senior, do you still plan to continue?"
Andrei furrowed his brow before responding, "The Dragon Alliance's involvement was unexpected. Stopping now would indeed be a good choice, but I promised Perry that I wouldn't back down unless the odds were massively against us.' Theodore remained silent. After all, everything was Andrei's call, and his own role was simply to advise.
Andrei asked, "Can we find out what's happening with Dragon Alliance right now? Has the Dragon Lord appeared?"
Theodore had already inquired about the Dragon Alliance through his contacts on the way there. As he was previously the deputy chief of Earthen Hall, he naturally had trusted friends who were still in the Dragon Alliance.
"Yale Jones, the strongest deputy chief of Dragon Alliance, has gone missing, and the entire organization has been declining, exactly as I predicted! As for the Dragon Lord, it's Vivian Murphy," Theodore explained.
He had noticed the Dragon Ring on Vivian's finger earlier, which surprised him and filled
him with sadness.
When he was in the Dragon Alliance, the organization was filled with influential individuals even though the founder had not appeared for a long time. Who would have thought it would deteriorate to the point where a young girl at the Martial King level would become the Dragon Lord?
"If that's the case, as long as Dragon Alliance doesn't interfere, Felix won't be able to cause much trouble. I'll arrange a meeting to get Dragon Alliance to withdraw completely," Andrei said with a hint of amusement flickering in his eyes.
"Ah, how the times have changed. I remember when I was young, every elder in the Martial Alliance feared the mere mention of Dragon Alliance. Now... we can only laugh it off."

Chapter 406
Meanwhile, Felix drove to the Serenity Manor neighborhood, parked his car in the garage, and stepped into the yard. He noticed someone sitting on a chair, engrossed in a game on his phone.
"This could be considered trespassing, you know," Felix remarked.
Without looking up from his game, the person laughed and said, "Don't be so uptight. This round's almost over. Just wait a minute."
Felix did not say anything more and sat down nearby, wondering why Ryan, one of Nala's five powerful suitors who clearly despised him, had suddenly appeared.
Five minutes later, Ryan pumped his fist in the air. "Ha! I ranked up! I really am naturally talented, even at gaming!"
After putting away his phone, Ryan turned to Felix. "Let me be straight with you-when I first heard Lady Nala was interested in you, I was pissed. I mean, how could a nobody compete with us for Lady Nala?
"But then you got that VIP concert ticket and even a private meeting with Dreamscape. In a way, I guess that makes you somewhat qualified."
Ryan snapped his fingers and continued, "I can help you break free from your current ordinary life and return to your former glory!"
